i know its an older video, but i have to disagree with your comment on great build quality. when you remove the screws to disable/enable the detents, you'll find that they use self tapping screws into plastic which shred the screw threads on the housing quickly. the detent noise disappears due to tight tolerances from the factory when the screws are set. once you remove the detents and put them back a few times, the detent noise and feeling fade completely. why they couldnt use metal thread inserts and better screws on an already expensive product is beyond me.

@@g-locmedia thanks for that. its not a bad product at all, it just has a few issues that i think could have been handled better for long term use. saying that, if you dont remove the detents at all, you should be fine.

Make little demos describing how you feel while flying with it. It's good to listen but better to see.
When describing pros and cons, compare it with other models.

An annoyance with the throttle is that the spacing between the detents is equal which isn't realistic and doesn't give you much control between idle and climb. If you know someone with a 3D printer, get them to print some new detents which moves the climb and flex detents toward the end of the throttle travel.

Xbox Version: Here is my review: I had this thing for 1 year now. They need to make it a bit heavier so its feels more realistic, it has that cheap plastic. When you grip the stick it comes off the table because it's light cheap plastic. I strapped mine down with double sided tape. The gameplay setup is realistic I like it though for its price. When you plug it in its all set to go, no configs needed except for some light tweak setups. You can fly 2 engine aircraft but if you want to fly a 747 4 engine aircraft you need to adjust the throttle settings. Many youtube tutorials online. Next: Don't buy rudder pedals to attach to the stick. Waste of money. They are never accurate and you start rolling off the runway. The stick has a nice rudder turn feature. Flaps and spoilers work great. The release brake is accurate. The reversers are a big help, when you land just pull throttle levers back and you can reverse easily. Gear up/down is great. Comes with a giant printed configuration map in the box, but its confusing as hell. Ignore it. Banking left and right pretty accurate and on point. Space. A big fail they did was: No Trim wheel adjustment. Some aircrafts tends to pitch up at high altitudes and its hard to pitch down with the stick to adjust the aircraft back down to the horizon level. Make sure you have enough space to fit the stick, quadrant keyboard and mouse. It took me 2 weeks to adjust to this configuration, at first it will seem a bit hard getting used to flying with a stick and throttle separately, I felt frustrated but I finally mastered my landings.

Works straight out of the box !!!! It doesn’t work straight out of the box with ANY of the A320’s. Fenix FBW or the default. Forever faffing around with calibration. Sometimes when I think about flying in MSFS 2020 I give my head a Shake and watch Netflix. I have watched so many RUclips videos about calibration of this set I am seriously thinking about getting rid of it. Don’t get me wrong when it works it really does add a lot to the immersion but. It’s just so annoying to set up. I just went through an upgrade to an RTX 4090 and i9 14900kf on a new computer so I am wondering whether to bother setting it all up again. With MSFS 2024 around the corner I might wait as I believe that everything will need reinstalling and recalibration anyway.

Agreed mine is absolute dog water as well. The throttles for #1 and #2 have been misaligned since I opened it, no matter how much you calibrate it (whether on Windows, MSFS, or the actual quadrant itself). The throttle axis is also very "loose" in the sense that the values will drift up/down by several percent after you take your hands off the throttles, even when in detents. This is just due to the fact that they're poorly designed dinky plastic; no matter how much you turn up the built in tension screw, its always going to have this issue. The detents are not very precise and don't feel very good, and they don't consistently activate. For example reverse thrust on Fenix never activates simultaneously, nor equally as a result of all of these issues.
