Final Destination 2 Movie Description:
Kimberly (A.J. Cook) has a premonition of a horrible highway accident killing multiple people -- including her and her friends. She blocks the cars behind her on the ramp from joining traffic -- and as a police trooper (Michael Landes) arrives, the accident actually happens. Now, Death is stalking this group of mistaken survivors -- and one by one they are dying as they were supposed to on the highway.
inal Destination 2 is a 2003 American supernatural horror film directed by David R. Ellis. The screenplay was written by J. Mackye Gruber and Eric Bress, based on a story by Gruber, Bress, and series creator Jeffrey Reddick. It is the sequel to the 2000 film Final Destination and the second installment of the Final Destination film series. The film stars Ali Larter, A. J. Cook, and Michael Landes. Cook portrays a woman who "cheats death" after having a premonition of herself and others perishing in a highway pile-up and uses it by saving herself and a handful of people, but is stalked by Death afterwards by means of claiming back their lives which should have been lost in the highway. It also explores the cliffhanger of the preceding film by revealing the fates of the previous survivors.
After the financial success of Final Destination, New Line Cinema contacted Reddick regarding plans for a sequel. Since the original film's crew was unavailable, New Line replaced most of the production team. Filming took place in Vancouver and Okanagan Lake. Final Destination 2 was released on January 31, 2003, and on DVD on July 22, 2003, which includes commentaries, deleted scenes, documentaries, and videos.
The film received mixed reviews from critics. Negative reviews assessed the film as a "silly and illogical" work that "begins with the same flawed premise" of its predecessor, while positive reviews called the film "a real jolter for horror fans" that "recognizes the close relationship between fright and laughter" and "surprisingly good fun for the current crop of horror films". The film grossed $46 million domestically and $43 million overseas, earning $90 million internationally, making it the lowest-grossing film in the Final Destination franchise. It was also nominated for four awards, including the Saturn Award for Best Horror Film. A third film, Final Destination 3, was released in February 2006.

The thumbnail is hilarious my guy!!!
Hilarious! Also when he was in the car with them as they drove out of the driveway lol
Yo I Appreciate That Bro Lmao.
This series is great the problem is I always forget what happens in some of the later films like I remember basically how it starts for all of them except number 5 that one I mostly remember how it ends @@HelloMellowXVI
that shit had me cracking tf up at work, I always go to meals videos helps me get me thru the night
@@HelloMellowXVI Can you please React to kung fu panda 4
The movie that taught an entire generation to fear freaking logs. I still can't drive anywhere near a log truck without thinking about that highway crash.
No shit😅😅😅
No doubt! My job requires me to drive passed log trucks almost everyday and it still freaks me out 😂😭
I live in a logging area. Snowy/icy roads behind a logging truck is common. I am actually more scared when they are behind me. lol.
The irony is that the producers had to resort to CGI because real logs wouldn't 'bounce' after falling off the truck like they wanted. Almost everything else about the wreck was practical.
I will drive into oncoming traffic 2 avoid riding ANYWHERE near a logging truck
The amount of people who became traumatized by that log scene is insane. I still cannot drive near one when spotted. My speed immediately drops in my vehicle if I am unable to speed up and pass the truck
As it ought to be.
Bro driving in general is scary to me. Potholes, Trucks, Logs, and drivers who don't pay attention make me fear driving
Gotta dodge that shit
@@TabathaTMartin It is one of the leading causes of death
I was driving behind a big tanker earlier and was literally thinking to myself “at least it’s not carrying logs”.
I love when you edit yourself into the movies 😭😂😂😂😂
Yes, it's awesome😂🤣👍🏽👌🏾💥
@@gigiarmany4332 I fully agree.
Best part of the vids
After this movie, one will never EVER get behind a log truck.
Sammmmeeee
Facts ruin us 80s kids
the log scene is the most traumatizing scene of the 2000s
Ya, Destination 2 did to log trucks what Jaws did to sharks.
My driver's Ed class showed the crash scene from this movie to discourage distracted driving lol...
Traumatizing 😭
That's an effective teacher.

Apparently Tim, the dentist kid, was supposed to be like 7-10 years old originally but they thought the death they gave him would’ve been too brutal for a child that young
Yeah, I agree. Honestly, he is a little in My opinion, for The death he got
So they had a teenager act like a seven year old. (I'm glad they didn't actually kill a seven year old)
they would have had to make Tim the most unlikeable child character in order for them to use an actual 7-10 year old
@@michaelriley7644 Reminds me of that child actor who played a sociopath on law order svu. His character was one of those exceptions where you were less likely to feel bad because of who the character was.
Well would have made the chasing pigeons scene more believable
Final destination movies have me questioning why I even leave my damn house. The phobias I got after each one is unmatched 😂😂
😂😂😂
I get how you feel. When I was a kid I saw this movie and oh my gosh, I never wanted to leave my house at all. And this happened during a summer vacation. I have been in my house for weeks and refused to leave my room. Heck, I started to suffer some panic when I realized that school was coming back, I was terrified and paranoid because I thought at any moment I could get killed by anything.
Luckily my mom managed to make me feel better by letting me know that this movie was still fiction, but she also let me know that it’s very important to be careful in my surrounds and little by little I managed to finally go back outside after my summer vacation. Ever since then, I have been avoiding any other final destination movie 😅
Despite how much final destination traumatized me, at least the only good it taught me was to be careful in the outside world. Especially to never drive behind a log truck 😂😅
@@firemiracle same with me! Took me forever to get comfortable leaving the house without panicking at the thought something would happen it’s insane!
I’m scared of tanning beds. I’m Black. 😂😭💀

Mell before the movie: yall weak how it traumatize yall?
Mell during movie: 🤯😵💫🤯😱😱😱😱😱☠️
Mell after movie: i get it 🫣
😂
we r actively watching the trauma unfold wit him.
“This boy death play too damn much” 😂😂
Part of what makes the highway scene so terrifying is that apart from using CGI to put in some of the actors faces and have the logs bounce (because they couldn’t get them to do so naturally) this was all practical. They REALLY crashed all those cars using stunt people, used a wire to bring the bike to smash Eugene and sped it up to look like it was sliding, flipping the cars through the air like that…they REALLY wanted to make sure people would never drive behind a log truck again
I’m 40 and my parents took us to see this movie. This movie traumatized us . My dad still doesn’t drive behind a log truck.
Next time you're on the highway if you see a log truck pay attention to the fact that there is no one behind him for about 30 car lengths
😂😂😂
That scene taumatized a generation.
And the gen before and definitely after 😢
16:10 That little scream at the birds almost made me choke which is just so ironic 😂😭
I loved it as well!
Bruhh mello in the scenes funny af 😂😂
It’s soooo good ! Him at the table between them had me 😂
Quick sad story, when these movies came out, my mom wouldn't allow me to watch them...when I was 2.5 yrs old My aunt (my mom's youngest sibling) and I were struck by lightning. She died instantly and I sustained 3rd degree burns and needed a skin graph for where the lightning blew out of my foot. When I got older (13-15) I asked her why she didn't want me to watch the first "Final Destination". She told me "Because that was the last movie me and your tia Jessica watched together". Naturally I got curious and watched the first one and till this day I've only watched it that one time...
Well shoutout to you and your Tia
My condolences
🙁🙁🥺 I’m sorry so for your loss my love ❤🕊️.After reading so many funny comments, yours is pretty humbling 😞.
Sorry for your loss.
Oh wow bless ur heart! So sorry for ur loss.
Fun fact, to kinda ease everyone's fears of logging trucks.. they had to CGI the log bounce, because they wouldn't bounce like that
Bounce or no bounce, running into one of those freaking things doing highway speed would still mess your day up pretty bad...
They just roll, which would still probably kill you.
Bounce or no bounce, you will still die. Something like this also happened in my country. The truck was in an accident, one of the drivers flew out of the truck and landed next to it. The chain broke and fell on top of him. He had an instant departure.
Does not help
I appreciate you tried, but this does not help.
So never drive behind a logging truck and also always make sure your floor by your feet while your driving is clear of anything. Especially water bottles!
I was one of the witnesses and this, ladies and gentlemen, was the night a movie broke the Mellverse.
This scene still traumatizes me to this day. If I see a log truck on the highway you better believe I'm passing that thing or backing right the hell off to give myself plenty of reaction time! 😱
Mellow you in the backseat of the suv is wild 😂😂😂
This might be the best Mellow reaction yet. Laughing so hard!!
The log line for "The Final Destination" series: New Fear Activated!
Mello getting that animated during these movies never fails to get a laugh out of me 😂
The opening death sequence is iconic. Us millennials refuse to drive behind trucks carrying logs, pipes, etc to this day!!!! And you inserting yourself into the scenes is genius🤣🤣🤣
10:50 Like how eye is spelt on the fridge when the letter H falls into the Chinese food, foreshadowing his death in the scene
Sweet spot!!!
Never noticed that
Also when the computer he bought was an Imac which sounds like EYEmac.
Thank you so much for the extra effort you put in to the editing. The way you insert yourself in to the scenes never fails to amuse us!
I almost choked on my smoothie when you started the 70s blaxploitation! Literally crying laughing 🤣
When this brother threw in Boyz II Men during the logging scene. I woke the house up! LMAO
I NEVER drive behind trucks carrying logs, pipes or otherwise after watching this. The trama is real. 😮
I also get nervous whenever I have to stick my hand in a garbage disposal. I watch the switch the whole time to make sure nothing flips it. 😂
Have you seen Descent? It won't help you feel better 😂
@@Auryanneomfg 😩😩
The ending to this movie, with the mum screaming at the arm and then the music kicks in, is probably one of the best in the franchise 😂
“Cmon bruh” I understand you’re suffocating to death right now, but you really “dropped that” was fucking hilarious 🤣
Almost had a water bottle or can roll under my pedals a week ago. Removed it and threw it in the back in a safe spot. Log trucks and loose objects are a nono for me since this film.
The respect is real. Not every movie has these life lessons 😂😂
Inlove how youre in the damn car 😂😅
Now you too will suffer the anxiety on any highway with any log truck sir.
This movies kills were almost 100% practical effects and the cgi was on the logs because they couldn't get them to bounce. Was the coolest ever and traumatizing
“Might fuck around and pronounce the p in raspberry” what’s this error screen 😂😂
Now take what Mel is feeling while he watches this and imagine you're 8 or 9 years old watching this when this first came out
13:07 😆😂🤣 most cops just have a little camera on their dash or stuck to the window. This officer has a full sized professional movie camera in his passenger seat.
Fun fact: The guy who played Eugene was the voice actor for Kratos in God of War. He stopped after God of War: Ascension. His name is Terrence 'T.C.' Carson btw.
ZEUS!!!!!!!!!
"We're just gonna forget that two people just blew the FUCK up in this same building?" I fucking died. 😂😂😂😂😂
Final Destination 2 was my favorite, but #3 has Mary Elizabeth Winstead playin a lead 😍💯
3 is my favorite but this is the best one
“Can ya dig it” 😂😂😂😂😂 AYOOOOOOOO LMFAO
Dead!!!
@@amberlache92 😂
The guy on the motorcycle was the original voice for Kratos in God of War btw
Anytime I saw him in the voice "kratooos"
The log truck scene has got me so careful driving around any truck or van that has anything hanging off it or transporting anything. I get into the other lane or stay 3 car lengths away just in case something falls off.
OH! OH! WHAT THE?! OH!
I don't even wanna have water bottles in my car no more😂😂
Like others have said, 20+ years later and to this day I refuse to drive anywhere near a log truck lmao.
The FD franchise, but especially 1&2 are ✨iconic✨
Also i can't see TC Carson anywhere without thinking of him as Kratos.
Have you seen Living Single?
@@JemJam2976 Yes! I'm almost 40 so Living Single was a regular part of my TV life. He was Kyle until he became Kratos, I was obsessed with God of War and he was my cartoon crush 😑
9:44 love it when Mell is edited in a scene 😂😂😂
Ah, the log scene. Every time I see one of those trucks now...Every. Freaking. Time. 😆
The first time i saw the crash scene was in my drivers ed class lmfao as if learning how to drive isnt stressful enough
You should watch this whole franchise, it's awesome! The 3rd one is my favorite overall, but the ending to the 5th movie is EPIC!
This might be my new favorite vid of yours, gonna definitely have to have you watch the rest of these in the future. The editing is also on fkn point ny guy
as a big fan of Horror movies, I always called the Final Destination films Slasher Films without the Slasher.
I know you had to check them drawers after that bird hit the window🤣
We on the interstate til this day avoiding trucks with logs😂
Beo said Jive Turkey,🤣🤣🤣I'm screaming!!!
This one is still my favorite. It was the first one I ever saw and how I learned about the series. The pileup scene has forever haunted me lol.
I find it fun that he puts himself in tje movie sometimes 😂
My favourite is this Final Destination 2
Me every few minutes "Mellow are you ok?"
The 'Highway to hell' song was accurate with what happened to that highway. These movies teach that death can't be beated by us and will win, but there is only one who truly beat death and sadly many don't know Him that well (Jesus beat death forever).
Bruh, you had me f-ed up when you mentioned how "Criss Angel" died. I paused for a sec and even got as far as opening a new tab to start searching before I realized what you meant. Goddamn.
masterclass on how to break Mel lol
Mel, absolutely love this film. That accident at the beginning was all stunt work, the only CGI was the fire and the logs, because they could make real logs bounce.
When I was younger I had to stop watching final destination and the show 100 ways to die. It made me so scared to do anything. I was like I literally can die from anything.
5:23 oh what a day WHAT A LOVELY DAY!!!!
16:12 that scream was very Homer Simpson coded lol
Your reaction was by far my favorite out of all the Final Destinations
Bro, I forgot all of these deaths were from this movie😭 it traumatized me so much I had to spilt it into different movies 😂😂
Fr I always thought spaghetti death was 3
Another favorite reaction added to ky list😂
Loved everything from the thumbnail, boyz to men, poor mellow holding his heart and his defeat after finally understanding our trauma!
The motorcyclist Eugene is the voice of Kratos.
Original or remake?
@@phousefilms original
I like how the magnets on the fridge spell "eye" as a nod to the dude's impending doom a few minutes later lol. Great reaction, Mello!
I was scared of having water bottles in my car since i saw this movie when it came out
Lmfao! Great reaction! I was laughing with every “OHHHHH” you yelled.
9:18 They got the black dude like that, so he doesn’t look like he’s about to rob a guy for their lottery win…like you were gonna! 😂
😂😂😂
This is the best thumbnail I’ve ever seen for a “Final Destination 2” reaction and I think it’ll be hard to top
I've seen a lot of reactions to this franchise. This is the best one so far, can't wait for the other three movies.
The behind the scenes on how all the kills were made are really interesting and fun. That goes for each film. Everyone had lots of fun making the movies.
Fun Fact: It was originally going to be an X-Files episode for the concept. But got turned into the first film because they saw potential.
Fun fact the VFX ppl were tasked with the explosions n fire during the pile up. They made it so excessive (their words) that they believed that when they showed the director he'd go, that's to much tone it down. Instead he went yes! Exactly! That's it! 😂
When Mello is edited at the table with the characters or in a car or whatever, I just die 😂😂😂😂
Man I saw a truck of those logs once when driving on the highway, and I yelled “Fuck this, we’re passing now!!”
Final Destination 2 will always be my favorite
Man, Mello, I just love how you edited yourself in those scenes. That is just I unique idea and makes each viewing some damn entertaining. Please, never change.
I saw this movie when it came out and to this day I will not drive behind a log truck. This movie gave my anxiety anxiety.
I'm a glazier and rig up glass all the time and that falling glass would never happen lol.
Love the thumbnail feels so immersive 😂
Best reactions ever. I'm still traumatized.
the editing in this one had me in tears
You're such a fun reactor. Very entertaining video. I'm a huge fan of this series. Final Destination 2 is by far my favorite one
Whenever driving behind trucks carrying things like metal pipes and stuff like that i always worry its gonna come through the window shield
The amount of times you were legit horrified at all the jumpscares, sudden deaths, etc was hilarious. 🤣🤣
I knew FD2 was gonna trip you out😂😂😂
Death was like nah this the first time one of them volunteered
This is my favorite intro. It could happen any time any day.
Also this movie traumatized me for life I can’t drive anywhere near those trucks with the wood on it
Looking forward to the rest of the series too!!
I never laughed so hard :D Mellow had a time of his life watching this :D
This movie made me avoid highways for a long time!!
3 is my personal fav, but it goes 5,1,2,3,4 my opinion
