Hi Margaret. It's great to see others as seasoned as you, who have been doing these type of glue pages, still struggle with what goes best with what. As well as to hear you say, "OK, maybe I won't find what I need today, lets revisit this in a day or two." I very often feel that I have to find it now and get it done today!! So thank you for this video. It eliminates a lot of silly pressure, that we don't need to create things that we love!

I follow your instagram page and for the first time have watched your process and am blown away at how you um and ahh and fuss and fiddle as much as I do! I always kind of gave myself a hard time about how long it takes me but this has really affirmed how i go about my collages. How freeing! Your style has been a huge inspiration for me, my eyes just want to eat everything you make :)
I so enjoy seeing your process and understanding how you think about things. Collage is great training for life, that we should just wait a day until we get what makes us happy and not worry about it! I notice that you also limit your supplies, which I think is important also. And, you also buy what you like to use. Lovely postcard!!

Good morning from Denver! I'm so thankful you did this video before the end of the swap. I've gathered lots of bits and pieces of scraps and tons of currency but have been hesitant to even start my postcards - a bad case of creative brain cramp and newbie nerves, I guess. Your video has given me just the nudge I need to get them made and sent off for the swap. Thanks Margarete!
I’m curious about your use of the double-sided Skor tape. On another video you replied that you use mostly glue stick to keep your postcards from curling, which is one of my issues. My question now is, do your postcards survive the postal sorting machines okay using Skor tape and glue sticks? I’ve been using matte gel medium and getting lots of curl, but i want to be sure my postcards won’t disintegrate in transit if I use Skor tape or glue sticks. Thank you. Your postcard videos are really a great help.

I use both. I like the Skor tape for heavier papers and for photos.
