I first saw pictures and said, "LOL turbo pop up headlights." Then saw everyone complaining that it's an LS and not what he claimed. I kind of don't care because it's SEMA. (I've never been, and probably never will go.) It being a hodgepodge of parts makes it more interesting to me. I don't care if they're Chinese or "real" turbos. I can't afford those either. If he lied about a bunch of stuff, well shame on him and he deserves the ridicule. The car itself is still neat as-is from a visual aspect, even though LS-swapped-everything is boring. Hopefully he finishes it.
Mix & match parts doesn't automatically mean 100% junk....It could be a nice looking budget build that'll make decent HP & look good without breaking the bank. But it's true that a Lamborghini intake on a Chevy V8 is being a poser. But it could still run decent once finished.
It has blow off valves on the intakes so it doesn't need wastegates. Otherwise, can't see enough to be able to tell if it's a v10 but the back of the intake being so far away from the bulkhead says it isn't.
@adamsutherland751 you don't seem to understand how forced air systems work on engines... You can release pressure from either the hot side which requires wastegates to prevent boost surging OR you can do it on the cold side that prevents the boost reaching the engine at all.. Both essentially do the same thing just one is on the exhaust side and one is on the intake side.. You don't need to run both at the same time as they do the same job.. You'll find superchargers use blow off valves. The physical difference is a diaphram made of different materials..
How is it fraud......he openly says the turbos are not yet hooked up and the engine is a Corvette engine with a Lambo intake.......it would be fraud if he said its a swapped Lambo engine but he was very clear with what it actually is in the videos I saw

Staying petty my friend, how would you know there is no waste gate? Most waste gates are off the exhaust manifold which you can’t see with the hood closed? I believe the car is an abomination but the claim no waste gates can’t be proven from the vantage point that you are showing it.

I just did a build. I put a lambo engine in my Forrester. Twin turbos. Goes 0-60 faster than a Tesla Plaid. Um….dont open the hood. Trust me bro.
