I am back! Las Vegas is once again the home of the SEMA show, which showcases the craziest builds the world has ever seen.
On the set up day, I walked around the outside area, whilst giving you a sneak preview of what's in store inside too!

Unfortunately the MX5 is an LS/LT with an adaptor plate (not even bolted to the engine) and the Lambo intakes bolted to the adaptor plate.
I know you're only a spectator/ car journalist but I genuinely think you should try a sema build as you've been a few times now.. i know it's not your normal content and you've said you're not too mechanically inclined.. but adamc builds a car for sema.. that would be so good to watch and I'd be intrigued to know what car you'd chose if you did

I read somewhere that the mx5 is a ls swap with lambo intake instead of the v10.

I've never been to Sema, but I have always wanted to go to Las Vegas with my dad for it. There's so many cool builds, cool trucks, and cool cars I'd never get to see if I miss my chance every year. Hopefully next year I can go
I'd be quite overwhelmed in that environment too. Many astonishing builds and designs; you have to appreciate the time and discipline that went into realising the individual visions. I can't say I actually LIKE many of them but I respect the effort made! 😆

Red Pig Merc at 7:04 is actually 300 SEL body on W205 C63S chassis and 4.0 TT V8 engine. They even used W205 whole interior in this build. Even set adjustments are put onto 300 SEL doors

Good video as always Adam but I can’t agree with your views on the tesla and ev’s in general, there going to cause the end of internal combustion which will mean the ultimate ban on the cars we know and love, ev’s have no place in the car scene or motorsport of any sort, they’re the enemy and shouldn’t be supported, not trying to start an argument against anyone, just my opinion and taking what certainly the uk government at least will do in the long run
It's just the next step in car development. No-one is going to ban internal combustion cars, they'll just stop making new ones. No different to when leaded fuel was banned. Older cars are still around.

I reckon you need to have a look whether those lifted Trucks have a Prop Shaft?...so I understand, as they're lifted soooo much they, quite often can't fit a Prop, what, then making them, just, front wheel drive. Now that's just hilarious 😂

You’ve probably heard by now but the “Miata Lamborghini” car is fake. Seats, rims, spoiler, engine, turbos and more. It doesn’t even run
if you use your eyes the miata is not a v1o and doesnt run
@JackBuckingham-rz7ub it's more than just using your eyes, you'd have to properly inspect it and look underneath the inlet, which I had no reason to do.
You're only saying that because it's widely known to be a V8 now, but on setup day, when this was filmed, it wasn't known yet.
Loving your open mindedness to EVs, despite the hate from many of your more vocal fans. It's great to see people embracing EVs as just the next step in automotive technology instead of fearing it as some kind of anti-enthusiast conspiracy.

To me, it makes no difference what propels a vehicle, so long as it's propelled by something which actually makes it move...well!
Whether it be Battery, Diesil, Jet Fuel, Petrol, Chip Fat, I don't care. If the vehicle causes me smiles, then that's all that matters...to me.

Exactly right. There's so much that gives a car character, beyond noise. We are already starting to see interesting, more enthusiast-targeted EVs like the Cyberster, and cool little charmers like the new Renault 5. As the technology moves on and the market expands, we'll see a lot more.

You only know that due to the media. I filmed and uploaded before any news came out and even SEMA themselves presumed it to be a V10
