More like a jack of all trades; master of none. He doesn't even seem to know that you have to invert a can of spray paint and clear the nozzle when you're done using it. You don't even wanna let it sit for 5 minutes with paint in the nozzle because that's how you end up spitting paint everywhere. Paint cans are pressure siphon so when you invert it, no paint flows, just propellant. Painting cars with a spray can is not ideal because your pressure is constantly changing. It is sort of like stick welding, where you have to gradually move closer as it depletes. Not an easy skill to master.

For the lowrider police car, the department likely confiscated that car from a drug bust. I remember in middle school in the DARE program when cops would come to school that our local police department had a pimped out 80's monte carlo with a system they would show off at public events. It had a sick custom paintjob and on the back window it explained something like the cops get to take possession of a vehicle used in the commission of a crime and that it gets forfeited by the person so it can be used by the police department. So that's likely how the California cops ended up with that sweet ride.

I LOVE watching all the painting skills. Would love more videos on that. It's interesting as an SFX makeup artist to see similar techniques going on. Would be fun to do a collab on an art project with someone who paints cars like this. I could def see a series of videos for October with these guys and SFX artists, prosthetic shops, and animatronic fabricators. Plus there's so many artists here in LA. My makeup school is in Burbank. I'd kill to see how a custom car painter would approach painting full face prosthetics. I've found learning to airbrush has been very difficult, so it'd be interesting to see them do it with their painting experience. Or watching a lowrider expert pair up with someone who makes animatronics just to see what they can create together. SANDRO come paint alien prosthetics with meeeee. 🤣
I don’t know much about lowriders, but I’ve worked with hydraulics in heavy machinery, which is a completely different experience. In that context, we deal with slow movements and immense force. However, I totally agree with those skilled mechanics-you absolutely need the proper equipment, or it can be incredibly dangerous. I’ve seen hydraulic hoses break off, spraying scalding oil at hundreds of liters per minute, and it’s terrifying!
At 8:45 where they showed it leaking, it was NOT leaking where it threads in. The guest mechanic (Long Beach Lloyd) was right, it’s the actual hydraulic cartridge that’s letting go. The cheap Chinese hydraulic cartridges are garbage, they work for a while, but I would use them on anything industrial. So there is NO amount of Teflon tape that will fix it, the threaded in cartridge is coming apart where the coil goes over it.

Shit, cops are getting budget increases anyway, I’d rather them spend the money on making a low rider in order to do better in community outreach than just buying another fuckin’ surplus tank or some shit.
I’d say it’s a seized vehicle that was made into a police vehicle. My local pd has a baby blue Cadillac on 24s with a crazy system they impounded off a drug dealer they arrested.

For those who wanna paint with spray cans, always go to a graffiti shop, they will explain everything from diff spray caps, spraycan brands and etc etc. Graffiti guys will show you the ropes so that anything you're painting from bikes, motorcycles, fenders or just stuff it will actually look good. Sandro were using 94 montana cans btw and a montana Hardcore Cap if anyone is interested.
I love the lacing technique. I think I'll be using it on a motorcycle tank, doing a sort of chooper/cruiser. Outside USA, Mexico and Japan, lowriding is pretty confidential, so it will pop out nicely. Anyway I loved that video, the thread that connected the whole thing with Sandro doing that paint job was hella cool and rewarding for the audience, it didn't turned out perfect, but the design and colors where on point. Orale carnales!
After using spray paint, turn the can upside down and press the nozzle until no more paint is coming out. That's how you keep them tips from clogging 👍🏽
A guy doesn't use Teflon tape on hydraulic systems. Hydraulics often operate at 3000psi or more so no type of tape will stop that pressure. I think she means she would use the tape on the engine oil pan plug and thats a good idea if your oil pan plug is leaking a little amount.

Great video! My uncle lived in LA for a while in his 20s, he had a couple Mr Cartoon prints he kept in his living room. No idea who the guy was until this video but his art was a big part of my childhood and I'm really psyched to be able to see more of his work
That looked like high-pressure hydraulic fluid getting sprayed on an ignition source. Poof! Instant flamethrower! 🔥
Your Pop would be proud of you; Sandro. For real. Mans has really stepped into his own with how good he's got at entertaining on camera.
Jimmy's getting better and better at this, and he looks more confident. Love to see the growth!
Lloyd is chill AF.
If they get those crazy urban assault vehicles, most of the time, they are donated from the military, so they don't pay anything for them.
@@justinwebster7761 Who do you think pays for the Military to buy them...
@@hittman8592 Yeah, but you really gonna get mad at the Military who already have a massive budget giving away a few toys they literally can't use any more? Contact your congress rep and ask them to try and lower the military spending in the US.
It's likely a car they confiscated then converted
Yess! more recognition to pinstripers! Amazing artists!
If you look up the definition of 'cool', you'll find a picture of Lloyd 😂
Thanks bro 🫡
Seeing Sandro working with and teaching his kid is awesome, just from what I've seen thus far from RMS and his vlogs etc on his personal channel it's clear Sandro is a good father and lets be honest, would be a kick ASS dad to have as a teenage boy growing up getting into cars, your first ride would be sick! 😎
The kid keeps interrupting the OG guest.... why have him on the show if we cant hear what he has to say...?
Lol the kid is almost 30. The og might be the one interrupting Jimmy. Lol just playing it's all good he is still learning. That shows me how excited and passionate Jimmy is to see these cars.
Sandro is a national treasure, protect this man at all costs. Make sure the guy masks up when laying paint
17:49 is that trump as a child lol
RIP Lyle Fisk- Pin Striper extraordinaire
LB Lloyd is back!
Something feel right seeing Sandro doing carstuff in his new garage.
Pinstriping is art, high class art. Those guys are nuts.
I just gotta say y'all are so creative with your ads I love it!!!!
I’ve seen low riders in NYC and the first time I saw them, for me it is a work of art what these guys can do with paint
Mr Long Beach Lloyd a legend in the low riding game him self. 2Pac.’s 61 is in good hands. Peace and love ✌️👍
Sandro is the Man! Could have done a comedy painting skit, w " lace painting w sandro" dressed up like bob ross...mad respect for everything he does! Best episode of RMS...
I drive 4X4s and do not do any of that since it is going to trashed running trails but mad respect for these artist and pinstripes you are unbelievable.
She's so bloody emotive. She should never play poker, lol. Sandro is the rocking it. Lloyd was awesome.
Such art, and gotta love Sandro and the gang, seriously loved this video and learned a lot.
Also dope working with the boys, steph and Sandro and I got to chop it up this episode very solid guy! 🫡 of course the whole donut crew always fun to hang with! I’m glad people enjoy the lowrider aspect well at least most of em and I understand it’s not the normal channel content but it’s cool to see other sides I like drift cars and exotics dope shit boxes whatever! It’s all cars to me 🫡
I could watch Sandro work all day. Cool dude.
The best one!
It unleashed my inner lowrider and car flippin definitely needs a world series.
Sandro in the opening
"Real low rider mechanics"
Sandro mouthing: "Me?!"
A guy doesn't use Teflon tape on hydraulic systems. Hydraulics often operate at 3000psi or more so no type of tape will stop that pressure. I think she means she would use the tape on the engine oil pan plug and thats a good idea if your oil pan plug is leaking a little amount.
