@@benjaminturpin2749 yes I know that but still just look at pictures of the 773. It looks so damn weird with those tiny wings and engines after being used to the big and beautiful ones on the 77W.

Unnecessary to say, but the 777 could have been just an oversized 767 if it ain't because of the ge90's existence, which allows the 777 to go even bigger and more capable with the more refined and newer ge90s that can carry more thrust.
@@dy7296 actually for the classic 777 variants where there were three engine options, ge90 was the least popular which probably indicates being an inferior engine. But still yes like you said still ge90 being designed from scratch allowed the creation of 2nd generation ge90 which had unmatched efficiency and power when it was certified in early 2000s. Its pretty much the engine to start the trend of large and curvy fan blades which is something every modern engine uses now. And since the 777NG where 2nd gen ge90 was exclusive overall sold way more than classic 777 variants, ge90 is considered the winner among the 3 so having disastrous results with the 772 and 773 didn't matter at the end for GE.
Wohhh a big cream mixer
They must be installed a nice shock absorbers in those wings. Coz the fuselage rockin but not the wings and the engine. Wow!
That's the camera the cameraman has shaky hands from the vibrations of the plane and his hand
This is the coolest thing I'll forget about immediately
Damn, it took almost a minute for this big boy to reach rotation speed
at 2800 rpm
Nice video!
Very nice
amazing sound
wow nice.
Inolvidable!
B777 Engines: -Smoking- Oh shit they recodin
-Stops Smoking-
Feels a bit uneasy seeing such small engines on a 777 due to GE90-115/110B being the only option for 777-200LR/300ER/F.
Why? The mtow is much less than an LR or a 300er. Unnecessary to have a ge90 115 on it when the engines it has provide more than enough thrust
Trent 800 is the smallest (in dimension) and the most lightweight engine option of the "first-gen" 777s a.k.a -200, -200er, and -300.
