I have never been to London. Thank you, this was beautiful 💛At first I thought, jippie almost 30 min., this is going to be a longer flight ☺There was a lot of traffic and still a long line after "us". I love the airport when it's (getting) dark and you can see all the tiny colorful lights. And... I allways get worried when the engine sound suddenly turns down, because I'm scared that it's damaged and stopps rotating😥 I hope you had a beautiful flight.
Great video thanks!...interesting fact about this Boeing 777....Do not be afraid of turbulence when flying! ..The wing tip on the boeing 777 was pulled up to 24ft before destruction.....it will never experience such forces in flight!..❤❤

I flew on this one twice. The takeoffs are fast and powerful. Since our plane didn’t have a jetway, I got to walk next to the ge90 in person. This aircraft has the Trent 800 but the plane I took had the ge90’s
I've always wondered why the 777 have never from what I've ever seen had winglets added over the years like all aircraft.i remember when I first saw planes with them and thought they looked odd but now without them aircraft look very dated including this one.but it's getting on a bit now anyway
I know what you mean !! And I feel like the bigger B777-300 is an in-between. I suppose the B777X is the modern equivalent though that has the odd ones that fold ✈️✈️
Actually, The Boeing 777-300ER has raked wingtips, They are like winglets but they are sort of made into the wing. The Boeing 777-200ER, I don't think it has raked wingtips, I cannot see if they do. The 777X will have winglets, Interesting that they will fold.
@@mezaviation I still think that if they are in folded form then they would act as winglets but in extended form they would be raked wingtips. Would that be correct?
Great vid....one observation that came off as a little strange to me, and it may be normal in other countries, but it seems like at 24:00 that BA A320 started to taxi onto the runway before the 777 even started rolling. I’m kind used to seeing the next aircraft in line stopped behind the hold short markings and they won’t typically move until the departing aircraft is atleast a little ways down the runway.
Thank you so much !! Yes- it’s something I’ve seen a fair few times at Heathrow. I think they do it just to improve overall runway efficiency, though it’s not needed at the moment with reduced operations. It’s in a few of my other videos too I believe, makes for a more interesting time !! ✈️✈️
@@BenkertAviation yeah I assumed that’s what was going on. Just curious, do you know how that clearance is given to the next to depart aircraft? In the U.S. the next aircraft would remain behind the hold short markings until either cleared for takeoff or told to line up and wait. Maybe there they are given line up instructions reference the departing aircraft?
@@JamesAMG I’m not sure actually! I imagine they’re just told to line up at a given time, possibly just to stay a safe distance away. Must help to make them a little dirtier haha ✈️✈️

The 200ER is great but the 200LR is the real hotrod of the family. Combine GE90110B's with the 7s shortest fuselage and the performance is completely awe-inspiring. From what I've been told only the 757 with the Trents can touch it. Pilots joke that the 200LR climbs better on one-engine than most other airliners climb on two.
Absolutely gorgeous view of those Rolls-Royce Trent 800’s and the wing.
