This meditation clarifies for me that I am not my thoughts. My thoughts are not necessarillary the thoughts of others. And these thoughts and feelings will pass more quickly if you let go of them through mindfulness. Thank you DTM.

The cause of the discomfort was an exercise class that was very difficult for me to follow at this time and I did not enjoy. Thanks to this meditation I am now relieved of this discomfort and understand clearly why I (and some others) felt the discomfort as well. Nice going you all! ADB,MD

Hi! I was wondering when I get the urge to move when I'm meditating should I feel the discomfort or should I actually move? I never know what to do, I try my best to stay still but I can't help it sometimes. Also when I'm breathing sometimes I feel like Im breathing too hard and i dont know how to stop once I become aware of that
I struggle with this, too! Today, I just experimented with both trying to change it and being aware of it and just letting it be. For me, when I brought attention to it and did nothing, I stayed stuck there. When I shifted to bring more comfort, I found myself more relaxed and able to shift on to other areas of awareness. Maybe both have their time and place.

Really tired of people saying therapy is a scam and it doesn't work. Whatever therapy they tried might not have worked but there is one out there that will. And I wouldn't say that therapy is a scam but medical services even mental health services can give expensive and they should have cheaper prices and more ease of access to people who need it then that's more or less a health care problem than the actual validity of the therapy itself. Which I've always said the practice is fine in the science of the practice is fine it's the cost and the healthcare system surrounding it that needs to be amended.
