I have the Leica APO-Summicron-SL 35 ASPH lens. It balances well on my SL2 and provides excellent image quality. I was tempted to get the Summilux-SL 50, but it’s a big boy. I’ve enjoyed using my Leica Noctilux-M 75 mm f/1.25 on the SL2 (a very impressive combination), but can still see getting the APO-Summicron-SL 75 as it would render quite differently. Thanks for the video!
Great video, thanks! Did you by chance also try out the 90mm APO before going with the 75mm? If so, would be curious to know your thoughts about those two.
I have not specifically used the 90mm SL APO, but I have heard great things about it. I bought the 75mm since I mostly shoot concerts, events, & street and felt the 90mm was more geared for portraits (not that it has to be used for that). I imagine that it renders out in a very similar way to the 75mm and would just be preference of different focal length in terms of what works best for you -- Matt Osborne (MrLeica) did a solid YT review on the 90mm F2 SL APO that I recommend checking out if you're considering the 90mm.

I have the 75mm apo and totally agree with you. Great lens and I’m really liking the focal length.
Heck yeah! I'm glad you're enjoying the lens as well.
