Hello, have u tried doing it during the cold weather? I was wondering how many hours should i let it sit. I did notice duing the summer i would leave it on for like an hour. But since its cold now its been 2 hours and nothing is coming off.
Hi Alison ? Can I etch on a tumbler painted with Crystalac Universal Black. I do enjoy very much your videos and purchased a begginer box from Crystalac. Thanks
I mean yeah, not everyone has a laser so it’s a cool alternative for someone who wants the same look. The laser is also just removing the powder coating as well
@AlisonCrafts mine remove it and etches the metal.. does anodized ones really well too!. If you like doing it you should look into one.. save a lot of time.
Thank you! I am definitely going to try this!
Thanks! Can’t wait to see how it goes for you!
Thank you for this
You’re welcome 🥰

I think you’d be better off doing the opposite. Put a stencil down and then paint universal black!
Don't need to leave the vinyl on over night I have alot etching on my tumbler doing this way
Do you remember the name of the adventure one? We are going to Alaska and I'd love to make these for us.

I etch these with a laser but dont understand why people call the citristrip etching when its just stripping off the paint..
