Things I like the most: Radial brakes on standard model... check! Lower subframe angle, thicker seat, flatter seat surface, better room between butt and pegs... check! Cruise control...check! IMU and all the other jazz for a thoroughly modern experience, with safety measures... check! Transmission ratio changes, making for better cruising fuel efficiency... check! Revised suspension, hopefully improved... check! Styling didn't become crazy ugly for no reason, like some brands are fond of doing with design updates... check! The fact the base model isn't some stripped down, redheaded step child making everyone want the "special edition" upgrade... also check!
I would love to see a fully faired 900CC sportbike from Kawi with less agressive ergos than the ZX6.. tbh give me a fully faired z900rs like yam did with the xsr900 gp and i'd be over the moon
@@Kwackajack fingers crossed for GPZ 900 SE ala Katana or XSR, with not-too-low clip-ons and neo-retro styling. That's be the winner for me, albeit achingly close to the z900rs in terms of neo-retro. But that's just me. Will defo check this out for a test ride once it's available at the dealerships, gonna be enjoying my zx25rr in the meantime! Btw, did you get around to replacing your ninja 400? or is it still the resident daily? Cheers for the content m8.
Kawi got this one right. If I was 20 years younger, that would have being my choice. Good value for money. I had Yami for most of my life. They offer nothing for me currently, hence the fact I changed to Kawi. Lovely looking bike. Unfortunately, I am on the wrong side of life. 64. I have to stick to my Kawi 1000SX. Next year, I will get the Kawi 1100cc Versys. I am 10mths from retirement. Touring will my thing. Need a donkey to carry all my stuff including the kitchen sink, for months of touring in NZ and AUS. as a note: Yami Tracer 9 GT + IS NOW EVEN UGLIER THAN BEFORE. Yami don't seem to be able to sort the looks and the seat. Heavier riders do not have a problem with the Tracer seat, but lighter riders like me, slide forward and then the seat become a back bender and a nut cracker. Yami payed no attention to it. I will stick with Kawi. The more I look at this bike, the more I like it. Well done Kawasaki.
Always wanted Kawasaki to make a Z900 Versys of sorts, a quarter-fairing and larger fuel capacity on the Z900, more leg room, without changing much less. They could just call it a GPz900.
I'll tell you one thing, my older '22 Z900 didn't need any help in the torque delivery dept. This 4 banger is super torquey, if that's a word. It'll take off in 5th from a stoplight without hardly slipping the clutch. My new gsxs1000gt will no way outperform the Z. Still dig the super bright/ white LED headlight. I had a '22 Z900rs and sold it, kept the Z. Looks like the radial calipers off of it are now on the Z. The Nissins on the Z stop as well as the RS and feel much better than the Brembos on the gt. Don't want or need a QS on the Z, the gt's is turned off. All in all my Z is the best bike I've ever owned and this is from a former mt09 owner.
Love this Bike and the CC size its all you need .. I need(Insurance) I wish they made it with full Faring's. What's it like on the highway and full wind ? do you get thrown around I expect body push but what about the bike does it get shoved around ? Does it have Maps or just Turn by turn ? all they needed to do was add Carplay to it.
I've been waiting forever for the BMW R1300R naked please do that motorcycle best motorcycle ever hands down it has everything no bulshit pain in the neck chain bone crushing torque respectable horsepower 145 upright position so no more chiropractor seems like the perfect motorcycle and best of all option for automatic❤

Looks like the Yamaha R9 is getting some competition. Nice 👍

Good video! New styling looks slick
Thanks for the vid, been tempted every year to grab one of these, with the extra mods and cons this might be the year I go for it.
This one looks great

Looks like quality upgrades! SE version looks like the pick. Yamaha triple sound great but nothing beats the howling Kwaka 4 cylinder sound.
Agreed, i'd be going for the SE!
Fours and triples are both great in their own right, hard to pick between them honestly. Get one of both.
Im not sure it will be competitive against the new Honda cb1000 Hornet.
For me its the quick shifter is the game changer
I like it 😀👍.
It looks pretty sharp, doesn't it?
@ It dose and it’s got some nice modern electronics and great brakes in the SE version.
Looks great.
Great video mate, you should do one for the new BMW naked and faired bikes that just got released too
I'll add it to the list!
@Kwackajack sweet mate, keep up the great work

I would love a fully faired version too, here's hoping Kawi sneaks another bike in the lineup
Can't wait for it to come to Mexico... so far, it seems it's coming until February-March 2025!

Still in the Z900RS camp myself. To me, looks like someone threw up a bunch of parts.
and i just bought the 2024 earlier this year...
I think i also hear its coming whit “keyless” driving 🤔😊
Odd how in Australia we are subject to bikes dictated in part by Euro emissions laws.
Same in USA and Britain, so Europa rules after all.
This or the new MT-09?
I prefer the styling here so would go Kawi
It's Zeee 900..
front end is god but tail light is like bmw s1000rr and to me is not god.The Z in tail is the best for me.
Looking like a toy
