I put the shifting on the right stick. Up is shift up down is shift down. Makes it way more Immersive. You can shift so fast to. Makes feels like you’re properly shifting the car.
Nice video, Paul! Yes, I’ve played both WRC 8 and 9 on the Switch and enjoyed them quite a bit, especially after setting acceleration and braking over to the right analog stick. I do plan to get this one sooner or later, but still in the midst of playing WRC 9 right now.
i think all 3 wrc games on switch are nice ports sure they are a downgrade to tje newer systems but all tje good stuff is still intact look forward to wrc 11 on switch :)
@@SwitchedOn right on! i am always a sucker for newer games with more tracks. but ur opinion on these games is important so i will rock with 9 instead of 10
Disgusting that they’re releasing stuff like this looking like games from 2005 - 2010. I’ve played gorgeous games on Switch so this is pure laziness. Don’t get me wrong. I’m not expecting GT7 levels. But GT5 came out in 2010 and looks leagues ahead of this.
Keeps on crashing at end of a game when saving reply every time on switch. Asked redit, mods are horrible. Gaes states ran out of space but system has 30gb free and sd card has over 200gb free.
For better sensations, I suggest the dual vibration PXN V900 wheel instead. You will only have to make a little twist. SETUP FOR ANALOG PEDALS ON NINTENDO SWITCH- You have to assign pedals to the left stick, here's the trick: - Hold the wheel’s "PROG" button until the red light flashes quickly. - Press the right pedal down and the red light will flash slower. - Quickly press Up on the d-pad. - Hold the wheel’s "PROG" button until the red light flashes quickly. - Press the left pedal down and the red light will flash slower. - Quickly press Down on the d-pad. From there, racing games for Switch that allows you to assign gas and brake to an analog stick (through the options) like GRID: Autosport or WRC games will perfectly work. After that, you will just have to fine tune the parameters for the wheel's and pedals dead zone and sensitivity in the games settings. You also can set the wheel paddles for shifting gears. Have fun! 😀
it's bad. i own wrc 8, 9, and 10. 8 and 9 are OK. but wrc 10 is just a proof that the switch is not a power house. playing wrc 10 on switch felt like playing a wrc title on psp.

Thanks for the control tips, I changed it with WRC9 (switch) and it feels better :)
Glad it helped!
It makes a refreshing change for someone to only compare this game to the other Switch versions, well done Paul 😎👍

Had this game since its release and really enjoying it. Great video!👍
Thanks for that I just got it on the Eshop version for only £4.49 instead of £44.99 as it was on offer 90 percent off so I brought it

Paul, hich version is the one to get on Switch as far as WRC games go? 9 is presently 3.99 sp thats tempting. lol
9 is very good and absolute no brainer at that price 👍

Agreed
Twitcher than WRC9? Oof.. I found that to be a nightmare to control on Switch. I'd hit a pebble on the side of the road and launch into orbit 🚀
I think 9 is the worst one via controls (even though visually it's one of the best imo)

What's the best control set up for this game please as I'm trying to play it and I can't do it at all

Well if codemasters release cmr2.0 for the switch i bet it is still more enjoyable than this
I buy the game today for 15€!
This game is graphically 🤮
WRC9 is graphically superior

N64 had better graphics
Graphic is really very, very bad🤮
