How come this video doesn’t include Asphalt 9? It’s a pretty decent game, and to haters, you can’t really hate it that much because it’s free. Nothing can go wrong with free! Besides an unholy amount of micro-transactions that is.
We do have a handful of great options (Wreckfest, Hot Wheels, Grid, NFS Hot Pursuit (even though most of them are older ports)) yet I can't wait to see how racing games will look on Nintendo's future console
I play Rush 2049 on my original N64 almost weekly. It has a 4-player battle mode with weapon pickups too on the original n64, similar to twisted metal. A mode I never knew about because it doesn't show up on the selection screen unless other controllers are plugged into the console.
Nintendo has always leaned toward cartoon or arcade style racers like Mario kart and crash bandicoot racing which is a disappointment for those of us that want something with real cars and more realistic racing. Grid, wreck fest to some extent and a couple of others are there like some WRC games but I always hope they will bring out something big name to compete with Forza in Xbox and the Gran Turismo series for PlayStation. Nintendo needs a title like that in their lineup with massive amounts of cars and tracks.
Nintendo love em but they always gonna market towards kids and families for gaming. I have the switch but yeah I wish I had the side money for a PS5 for GT7. Forza I would just get on PC.

It's all the same just in a matter of making it look a bit more mature. Games are all fantasy in the end. Some of the hardest games I ever played were on the NES...beat them like Punch Out, Super C etc. I get what you mean again but Nintendo been around a long time making games.
for owning many, Grip is absolutly my fave on switch, even the low resolution cant stop me having fun on that game in particular with elimination mode that feels like a scene straight for los angeles 2013. Own it on PC too and its really not a that bad port
GRID Autosport is top tier racing for the switch and it’s good to play it since it’s hard to get on backwards compatible consoles and PC now. It even has a fully fleshed out multiplayer with money to be earned by racing and unlocking cars! Too bad it’s dead online.
The switch having grid or wreackfest proves the newest nfs needs to be on switch i mean come on if they did a switch version of unbound it would have been a critical success

NASCAR Heat Ultimate is pretty good, Rivals is a bit cheap though, no animation to pit stops, sometimes Noah Gragson drives 2 cars and some modern drivers are replaced by drivers who retired in the 2000's...plus I just like the old gen 6 cars better
I was a little sad to see star wars episode 1 racer wasn't in the list, but other than that it was a great video and I will be checking out some of these games for sure

Fast RMX is often forgotten about but is excellent and is definitely the "fastest" racing game on switch. incredible speed and smooth fps.

Hotshot Racing is one of my favorite recent racers.
Have played Inertial Drift and I can’t recommend it enough! It gives the ultimate sense of satisfaction all racing games should, but most fail to do.
