Also glad that rory c's thesis is still the same
Right? I don't fucking believe this.
What's that ?
It's honestly one of the better ones out there!
Still can't fucking believe this mate
@@mathias841 Its the lyrics to destabilise
how are they not bigger in the USA , one of the best bands out there
TBH rock music is kind of dead here. The only reason i heard of them is because of crash thompson/rock critic on youtube. rock radio still plays most of the stuff from the 90's and early 2000's,so you can't rely on it to hear new music.
I've known them since Middle School and still haven't seen them live. I think if they toured here more they'd be bigger here.
Marketing. The singer's voice is recognizably British. Not every American appreciates voices from other countries.
Ive been with them since they started I grew up in Los Angeles CA.seen them live 3 times and even met them! They are one of my top favorite bands of ever!
@@noahsmith4505 nah. That's bull. Cause bring me the horizon is really big here, breakdown of sanity (I know, different country) and architect's are huge here. I could name a few other bands not from the U.S that are really huge. And tbh, we love accents... specially the brih-ish. Lol

this must be the most balls-out Shikari set I've ever seen
О боже, Meltdown, это... Это было божественно!😍🤘
Shikari is one of the few bands I can actually watch the full set without skipping any of it, it’s just mesmeric chaos.
Same. It feels like you actually there. LOL I forgot I was in my room.
Try Disco Ensemble they were a very energetic rock band like Enter Shikari but from Finland.
shikari are just one of those bands. whenever they play live everything becomes just a hypotising chaos of beauty and music, even the songs i don't like i fucking adore watching played live
Facts man
Enter Shikari are underrated, not for their music but for their ability to be grounded in reality.
Demonstration: Rou stands with those he views as equals and encourages those around him to enjoy their existence in that moment right there and then.
One thing amazes me about Enter Shikari, it's how they always give 110% on the stage, pushing themselves to give the best show possible, that's rare
Mike Stankovich especially when that room was like 20x20 with no air filtration. The hottest little box and they still went %110. Gotta love it
one thing that amazes me is Rory C's thesis hasnt changed
That's because they 110% genuinely love what they do!
Also, best group of dudes you could ever meet! Just a friendly bunch of guys!
It’s not as rare as you make out. I’ve been to shit loads of gigs where bands give more than their best.
@@jakeszmyt3883 I still can't fuckin believe it
After all these years, they still sound perfect live.
even better to my ears!
I can hear a vocal backing track in many of these songs. But, Rou still sounds great.
Yeah man, I saw them last in 2007 and they still the same as they did back then
@@DwayneCreates That's Rory, Chris and Rob doing the vocals. They all have mics and have parts to sing.
@@DwayneCreates not a chance.
Even after 10 years, Mothership is still the HARDEST song live!
Robbie Cargill i AGREE
Take to the skies will always have a special place in my heart
Fourteen years, mate. Mental.
Should've seen the reaction on the last tour where they combined Gandhi, Mothership, Insomnia, and Havoc B - the most insane sequence I've ever seen in a set
I can't believe I had written off this band... this passion is electrifying. Consider my fandom re-ignited.
That's so fucking awesome to read. When did you jump off the Shikari ship? If it was relatively early on, then lucky you, you've got so much material to discover. :)
@@hardroc You're shockingly correct, I gave up after the first record and seeing them at warped tour. I didn't understand the uk bass angle at all, in my dumb yank mind I thought they were biting off Skrillex. I get it now though, but more importantly I see that these guys really care about their music and message. Its more than just a product to them.
@@keanucarson Man, this does my heart well. Welcome back, friend! If there's two things this band has always stood for it's passion and community. Never once seen them falter, and I've been a fan since 2008!
@@keanucarson I was so gutted when I first heard common dreads when it was released learned to love it tho
@@keanucarson It's absolutely more than just a product for them. To echo Abe Foster's comments, they are very genuine, passionate about their music, and all about giving their fans an experience that transcends just a musical performance. My experience was similar to yours, but reverse. A friend showed me ES just before Common Dreads dropped. My thoughts were essentially, "..eh. Not my cup of tea" and brushed them off. A couple months later I saw them open for August Burns Red (if I recall correctly) and they just blew my mind.. enough that I went back and really listened to their music. Fell in love and have been a fan ever since. There is nothing quite like Enter Shikari's live performances.. they are in a league of their own.
Shikari are one of the best live bands out there.
One of the best bands, fullstop.
lying shit, they are one of the best bands out there full stop.
"I can't believe this set man, what were we thinking?"
Lmao, i was thinking the same thing
Welling up a bit at Rou belting the chorus to Take My Country Back as he falls back into the arms of a bunch of Americans emphatically singing along because goddamn if we aren't all exhausted from uncannily similar shit. What an energy.
I'll be damned if this isn't too true. I'm an American but we're dealing with the same type of wannabe fascist crap. Thankfully we just voted our orange dictator out of office. I'm hopeful that the UK can ditch Boris Johnson soon too. I'm surprised the Tories are still as popular as they are. It seems like progressive ideals should be winning out but the boomers are clinging to their antiquated ways of life like a cornered animal. A couple more decades and we should be rid of this crap.
@@jacksonislegend I fully approve this message from across the pond. You’re right, each generation will be more open minded than the last, progression is inevitable, it has to be
@@jacksonislegend yes sir. From an orange dictator to a senile dictator. Best transition ever. Lmao.
I'm a simple man
I see Enter Shikari, I press like
💚💚💚💚
Is this how every ES show is? Looks like so much fun and energy holy moly
Pretty much, definitely see them if you get the chance :)
Easily the best live band I've ever seen. The tickets are cheap too, even on their arena tours
Can confirm this is what EVERY Shikari show is like
yes it is. they are one of the best live bands I ever seen. I saw them 10 times, met them numerous times, got shit ton of stuff signed by them. They are amazing.
The first time i saw these guys was probably...2005? They opened for A day to remember, August burns red, Silverstein. They played 5 songs. Literally the same energy. Saw them 4 more times after.
Its nuts how underrated this band is. I just knew them from Sorry youre not a winner years ago but decided to listen to their newer stuff. Its crazy how they have progressed and their live music is top class.
I hope my kids and my grandkids will love them and will watch this legendary performance in the future and enjoy it as much as I do!
Shikari play at their peak when at gigs like these. Just the absolutely perfect synergy with the crowd
Its amazing how Rou's fry scream has improved through the years
Will always be happy that everytime I see a live show they play Sorry you’re not a winner, it’s always nice to see a band not stray from their roots and where they started
belter of a set list
The best live band on this green planet!
no matter where I am, with my headphones listening to sorry your not a winner, I always do the claps. people on the train just don't get it.
Would be fun to see one of those vocal coach react videos to Enter Shikari. Especially a song like Take My Country Back where Rou goes all over the place with the vocals.
10:15 Bassist's vocal vibrato..... *CHEF'S KISS*
Shoutout to the guy singing in the crowd at 16:20 YOU KILLED IT MATE
I read this comment at 16:10, perfect timing for a heads up! My guy delivered a solid effort
He actually sang it better than Rou
He was in key and damn near hit every note which honestly is surprising given the adrenaline of being at the concert, not being able to hear yourself and also the randomness of just receiving a mic. As for 51:56.... I'll just let that speak for itself lol
how great the old man with his son in front of the stage, and sees almost the entire concert 🎶💗 a badass dad
I'm 60 in October, I think this is fucking brilliant.
Happy belated birthday my dude
This show was unreal. Feel incredibly lucky to have been a part of that crowd :D
How can anyone give this the thumbs down. Amazing set and great quality. Keep watching again and again. Some lucky people to be part of this gig.
I love how much fun they have on stage.
Appeal 1 is such a good song. Their album openers are always stellar
How does a band sound even better live as the years go on? lets go
@7 Angels 7 Plagues im sorry are you deaf?
My Father died 1 Month ago and the whole Band performing give me smiles i had not for a few weeks i fucking love this music ❤
Cool story bro
16:20 “You are not, gonna take away our memes!!”
Hiii I'm basically in every shot of the crowd from the front 😂😂😂
Such an insane show and blessed to have been able to fly over for this one as well as Philly and NYC from the UK. Gave me some mad nostalgia looking back at this amazing time I had with friends new and old 💙💙💙
I can’t stop rewinding the final breakdown in Destabilise. The energy that part brings is unmatched in my opinion. I need to see them again, it’s been too long. On a side note, that setlist is god tier! Pure bangers!
I've been a long time listener to ES and they had been one of my bucketlist bands, but finally got to see them live in San Antonio about a month ago. One of the best shows I've ever been to!
For me - best set list and performance ever! Hard hit after hard hit...relentless! Engaging! Sublime! Thank you lads!!!
i would literally sell my soul to reach out their concert. every single member is giving everything he's got to the crowd, and 200% enjoying every minute. what a perfomance
Hands down that looks like the best live performance of the appeal and the mindsweep I
I absolutely love this band !! Enter shikari you have been my life for 16 years . You take me forward everyday! 💚💚
Exactly the same amount of years for me too. Big love for ES!
Every time I've seen Shikari live they've fucking killed it, but I'm pretty sure I would die after this set. I can't even sit at my PC while listening without going nuts; I'd lose it live
35:34 "NOWDONTGETMEWRONGILOVEWHATYOUVEDONEWITHTHEPLACEscuseme"
Rou Reynolds everyone
I was lucky enough to catch them in the US a few years back. One of the best shows I've ever experienced. The energy is just nuts!
It's awesome to see they still giving shows in small venues, they are very close to their fans this way.
This looked and sounded like a perfect gig.
They´ve aged wonderfully♥♥♥
Saw them on Tuesday. The vibe in the audience was just wholesome
Putting *Slipshod* in a live set has gotta be one of the best things I've ever seen
Thanks to whoever worked in the recording and editing of this video
Какие же вы ах... хорошие) You are .. a WINNER!
Great show, thanks for posting this !
What a set! Takes me back to seeing them at the astoria in london. Rammed to the gunnels but jumping! Incredible
Hands down best gig, setlist, performance of any band ever. Goated
You can tell that they're all big DnB fans at heart, almost over metal, when they do such sick remixes so easily like they do
Completely true, those drum & bass fusions are insane
True.
Been a big Fan of them since 2012 and i DJ DnB 😉
Yeh man, they literally remixed their whole Flash Flood of Colour album with DJ's from Hospital Records
Wonderful band. Destabilise IS a brutal song
Asking for an intro? Just choose The Appeal and the mindsweep.
Pretty much all opening tracks across their albums is a great way to start their set
big ups to the dude on the mic at 16:24 you killed it
I got to be that guy once on ghandi mate ghandi, will always be a highlight of my life 😁
That would be me mate, thanks so much 💕 completely took me by surprise when he handed me the mic haha
You rock mate !
@@kyle54106 Why you lyin' though?
@@kyle54106 smashed it bro
Fantastic energy and live sound!!
Top tier band performing top tier live with an actual top tier audience! You just don't see this.
Did I see Rory belting out some wicked screams ? Hey KERRANG, thanks for posting this. I couldn't make this show, and this is brilliant. Shikari are amazing, always will be.
Ohhh such a great show
I just couldn't help to say this
Enter Shikari шикарны
I like how they're not afraid to be weird on stage which weirdly must make the crowd feel more comfortable to be weird with them
i like this setlist! old songs > new songs
iam a huge fan since 2007, saw them 5 times live
I saw them live like 10 times now.
Saw a similar setlist in Sheffield on this tour, awesome. Would love to see them in a venue this size though.
Honestly this is where they shine the most in venues like this. I been to alot of very small venues with them in the city its badass.
God what an awesome show that was! So happy I was there. I'm the guy who put his hat on Rou 😂
Wished I could have made it to any of the dates in the US, but this is totally making up for it. Thanks Kerrang and Shikari!
One of the best things about me not following these guys since 'Take to the skies' is that I have a plethora of songs that absolutely bang that I get to hear for the first time!
Ohh what I have missed!
Music like Enter Shikari's is more important at the moment than it has been in our generation ever before.
Probably the best band in the world - at least currently. Amazing! Thanks, guys for this!
supongo que es el mejor set en años!.... sueño con verlos asi de cerca desde que soy un adolecente! los amo.
Blow my mind everytime
Geniuses of our time!
I hope they sing all the way into their 60s. So when I have kids I can bring them and be like this is what grew up with fuckers.
Derk Ender yeah, man! I hope this dream comes true
Love this band so much!!! 🖤
Really good setlist
This might be their best setlist yet!
I was on shikari live once, i wanna go again, they are the best
When you want to jump in the mosh pit but you remember you're too close to 30 and have a big belly and a bad back :(
Chris is the most under-rater man in history; and these boys know their history.
Wow...they are pretty amazing live...
52:06 "WELL ITS SUCH A THRILL JUST..." "...WHO I AM!" 😂😂😂
fucking amazing
love this band
when i see live and i listen enter shikari i feel that i live
Rou's stage presence is everything.
So good live!!!
Iam so glad rou's hair is back to normal
uhm
YESSS
Whats hair got to do with rock n roll mate?
@@lizam313 what does enter shikari have to do with rock&roll?
@@tijsfrederickx5776 it's all Rock & Roll
How aren't they more know , I just found about this band this week
Both nights in NY were fucking amazing 🔻
This gig is so fun! Roll on Feb 24 🇬🇧
I feel this guy as a metalcore /electrocore version of Matt Bellamy. Honestly he is a great vocalist
I feel like if I don't take the time to write that comment I kind let humanity down 'cause there's no band that gives that much to the fans, that have such meaning and crazy energetic show, there's no band that merges all elements of modern music with such skills and talent (hardcore, jungle, breakbeat, pop, hip-hop, rock, grime, electro and it goes on and on...), there's no band that gives that much free content to the fans...they're just the realest thing that their generation produce and I hop they'll go down in history as such.
LONG LIVE ES, YOU'RE JUST THE FUCKIN' BEST.
lovely perform
Great Concert @Enter Shikari
Its 7 in the mourning and im hyped like i was actually there
amazing
ABSOLUTELY UNREAL
Thanks Frank btw
For filming
And everything

You can feel their athmosphere only in small clubs) this is amazing
AWESOME !
That set list is absolutely god tear
Can't like this enough. Make a stop in South Africa again soon
Listening this live show, while working out.. 👌🏻
