So we can all agree that Owls is a masterpiece
No place on the internet would disagree with that
YESSSSS
Yes.
🤘
Im here because i was going to play it again as the daily driver, but ended up here instead :)
Owls after this play :)
upload between the buried and me live at the fidelitorium please You removed it
Where's the #sax tag at?
My friend died a few days after we saw you guys. Will always remember it as a transformative experience bringing us closer together.
Thats rough man. Stay strong
Sorry for your loss brother
May owls know their name
so sorry for your loss. what a great memory to have to seeing this band live with him/her!
@@aalioporkkana1978 Somehow can't take this seriously after I noticed your name.
Holy moly, this album is already a classic prog metal album i think.
Yup. Just grabbed my popcorn to watch the whole damn show
Very overhyped but really good record nonetheless, wouldn't call it a classic because it doesn't bring anything new to the table but is a gateway record to a lot of people!
Fran Lovel Šimić dumbest thing i’ll read on the internet today
@@franlovelsimic8421 stfu
@@franlovelsimic8421 I could see that. A bit redundant, but still a badass record.
50:18 bro love always makes me tear up and gives me hope for all humanity
Love you bro
Blow your Saxophone, Gabriel! So awesome.
What a genius addition to this band, so killer
But I'm not that good at saxophone! It's going to sound weird.
The guy didn't play anything right though......
Jake is one of the absolute nicest human beings I’ve ever met. If you ever have the chance to talk to him after a show, you should. Such a great guy.
Just resided in an establishment with him for a lil while and you're right he's the nicest person in the entire Earth... Even had grown up in such a terrible hood like reading pa
Only Opeth, in their death metal era, have given me these kind of chills!!
I am so depressed that I will never get to experience this live.
You think that's bad... My dad took me to see this tour live. The venue fit about 50 people max, I was standing right underneath Jake as he was screaming and instead of soaking in one of the greatest albums ever, I opted to leave the venue and stand outside for the duration of the concert after one song because it was "too loud" and I hadn't heard the album before... FML
@@bubbagidrolobidoo6730 You have a good dad
Imagine being able to actually give live justice to one of the best albums of all time - awesome.
Subtle change is such an amazing track. I love the prog that they explored. I hope they never abandon that aspect of their sound. Keep exploring down that rabbit hole.
Holy shit. The musicianship is amazing. So glad I found this band only a few weeks ago.
18:50 lmao so sick. Like an evangelist cleansing a spirit
woah!
I came here mostly for the tumbnail. This Singer is an amazing frontman!
@@mreddyfeelgood He truly is, he was so inclusive. The guy in the thumbnail and someone else hopped on stage lots of times. Pretty much every time, he handed them the mic and willingly gave them their time to shine quite a bit. It was nice to see.
@@jbasti227 damn I really need to see them live!
@@mreddyfeelgood Please do it whenever you get the chance. I've been going to shows for years and this was easily one of the best. You won't regret it.
19:03 thats the stuff, man, what this is all about. Feeling intense shit and being able to share it with the artists on stage. Pure brotherhood
This is the best live performance of anything EVER
One of the best metal albums of all time in my opinion.
boi
Agree. I felt this way last year and still feel it. Definitely top 50 metal albums.
Dude shut your mouth, he is not that impressive.
Instant classic for sure
@@based8223 Compared to what lmao. List your sources or stop commenting asap
18:51 was so fucking incredible, was that just a random fan or a buddy from a band in the pit(I’ve seen that before like another singer rocking to a band and comes up for some vocals) but this looked like to me a fan connecting with a musician in one of the most extraordinary ways, like that was some brotherhood of metal shit and it was so bad ass and honestly humanly beautiful! Like there is pain in these songs and it was like joining together sharing the pain but sharing the energy of power it gives you as well. Well done that was epic and seemed so natural, that type of shit is what I live for in metal! 🤘🏼🤘🏿🤘🤘🏾🤘🏽
I would daresay that was fucking beautiful!
I was looking for this comment! Definitely a cool moment
This band is stupid good. Love how they really feel the songs they play! So much presence and emotion!
The saxophone is absolutely amazing
They sound fantastic live, holy shootdang.
Why does their drummer make all of his parts look so easy? These songs are fast and complicated as heck. Damn.
Vheissu Jared Klein is just a fantastic drummer.
the best album from 2018, now live lml
I concur, good sir.
DUDE. This is SUCH a clean concert. So fking good.
Owls is my favorite album and right now my playlists are slam and beatdown. It’s just so good. There’s so much emotion in the writing and it’s so heavy at the same time, it’s impossible to not love.
Damn, in May they;ll playing in Australia with:
Ne Obliviscaris, Caligula’s Horse, Beyond Creation, & Allegaeon
too bad that tour not coming to the states, thats a dream line-up!
Rest of america is still listening to miley cyrus, smh
Triggered
Got my tickets, can't wait!
Ne Obliviscaris is an amazing live band
I’m going to that, I CANNOT wait
I always come back to this video. I love this performance so much. And Jake is a phenomenal frontman. One word I would use is composure. That stage becomes chaotic very quickly, and he doesn't let anything even make him flinch. He remains calm the whole set and smiles most of the way through it. If someone bumps into him, he quickly brushes it off and continues. Really professional and keeps the stage and fans energetic.
His voice reminds me of If Joe from Gojira And Jens Kidman from Meshuggah had a baby
@@voxextremos22 sometimes reminds me of behemoth and misery signals
The sax on this album is so refreshing and new. Sounds great! Rivers of Nihil, Jinjer and Black Crown Initiate is my best new band finds the last two years
Andy is a bad ass. Love his playing...guitar and keys as well as backing vocals.
I cry several times every time I hear this album.
It's truly a masterpiece.
I do too brother
What a performance, Jared is an absolute behemoth on drums!, and makes it look easy AF!
Jake has a stage presence that I've never seen before
Amazing sound quality
Thank Will Putney for that!
Thank you Will for making my 15" subwoofer sound amazing
What a MONSTER performance. So glad I caught this tour. Best metal album in years!
Amazing Best Album by Superb Band,Awesome Live Performance

Hail & Salute From Indonesia 🇮🇩👨🏿🎤🤘🏿🤘🏿🤘🏿(Bring them come to 🇮🇩 )
Absolutely beautiful.
I grew up with two of these guys. They’ve come a long way
They are one of the best bands to ever exist in metal, and they came from Reading.
@@Himihan my band used to play with their band before it was Rivers of Nihil. They used to be called Amongst the Decay.
This sounds just like the album. Kudos to the band for a great performance, Jeff Filmer for running live sound, and Will Putney for some god-tier mixing.
Caught them with Conjurer and Entheos in KC. Amazing night
What a fantastic Set! The discreet green Light fits the Songs and the atmosphere so perfect! Looking forward to see you on the upcoming Tour in Germany!
🤘🔥🦉
Saw them last summer open for between the buried and me and they were still good!!
Oh yes, Rivers Of Nihil featuring Rake Yohn on guitar. 17:35
WHEWDEE WHOO MUSTARD
Great for watching! Thanks for showing this live! It's was awesome! Come to Estonia, please! You're looks like a friends for everyone! Nice to listening to you!
So glad I found this band. Never too late ! Epic live !
Amazing performance, words can't describe
Fuckin amazing!!!Hail from Brazil guys!!!!!
this was in my top 10 shows ever no doubt at all. Entheos fucking killed it opening up too. i was already dripping in sweat by the time these guys came on.
Hands down the best show I've ever been to.
My dream show with no particular line-up order:
Rivers of Nihil
Allegaeon
The Black Dahlia Murder
Slugdge
Hath
Psycroptic
I wanna see Hath so bad. Their latest LP is still playing every day in my ears since the release day.
Excellent choice, I'd only add Aetheric, my favorite find.
@@kolifei Same, that album was ridiculously good.
@@cmntg420 Awesome, I'll check them out!
Revocation? Gorod? Sylosis?? great taste though xD
I still remember seeing the show they did in Seattle for this tour. It was an unbelievable live experience, by far one of the best shows I've ever been to.
The sound engineer deserves a raise after this. Great mix!
The total harmony these guys bring is so great. With pink floyd psychedelic vibe and the metal it is a great mix/
OMG! THANK YOU SO MUCH, KERRANG! FOR THIS!
Seriously What a Band ! I hope you guys come here in India and perform as well ! Love From India Bros. !
Jared is brilliant.
Best band i have heard in the last 20 years........MAJESTIC!
That sax is absolutely magical.
love
This band is so underrated
There are so many beautiful singers in this band, it's incredible
Props to whoever mic'd and set up the PA. fucking beautiful quality. never really listened to RON but they will definitely be on my radar after this performance.
Relentless energy and passion!
That sax ufffff.... Its elegant
Jake's voice sounds a little strained, but still has good annunciation. Overall sic live video though.
What a show. Wish I would have been there for sure.
Subtle change may be one of the best live performances I’ve ever heard
went out and paid cash for the album immediatly after finishing this
Good choice! Certainly a worthy album!
Yall kick ass live! Honestly one of my favorite performances
I f... love this band!!!!..everything
These guys are amazing live, one of my favorite bands 🤘🤯🤘
Have had the pleasure of working security for these guys and they are some talented and incredible individuals. Huge fan
I have watched these guys transform into and Epic Band....Great Job Boys...Keep it rolling..
I just cant beleive they're this good. They actually took the spot of my favorite band. Which was tough to do i have a Gojira tattoo. And i think i know what im getting next you guys speak to the SOUL!
very gay
The sax and harp are my two fav instruments they are so majestic.
OMG, this performance is so good, sounds literaly the same as album, so talented. Thanks for your existence, guys.
How am I, a year later just finding out that Will Putney mixed this. Now wonder it's so perfect.
I have birthday today and my gf got me 2 tix for Rivers of Nihil in November in Dresden, Germany.
If the gig would be as half as good as this, i would be happy af.
Im so excited!
There is seriously something so special about this band. Between this and their new album they have single-handedly redefined this genre.
They combine too many genres to be any one!
ONE OF THE BEST METAL BANDS EVER!!
I sawthem open for Killswitch before ever hearing them and i needed to look them up immediately and holy shit. Owls is one of the sickest metal albums i ever heard. The sax player alone had us like wtfff. Trailblazers! Youre already legendary in my book. No one can repeat this band live. This is perfection if i ever saw and heard it live. Unbelievable
the guitarist scream is just so cool
Classic release, this one goes down for the ages!
What the hell. How are they also this good live? This band has everything
Saw you guys open for Fit For An Autopsy at Saint Vitus back in October. Fun fact: it was my 21st birthday that day. You guys rocked! Definitely my favorite of the modern prog bands.
Flawless
some of the best metal growls i've ever heard... even the guitarist is amazing!!
I will kick myself for years that I didn't fly out of MN to catch this tour somewhere.
One of a kind...
Jared Klein is a god damned machine
Saw them yesterday in germany came directly here for more!
KERRANG!
These guys are amazing
Been listening to prog and metal for like 15 years...first time actually listening to these guys...shit.
Such an incredible band!
what a good show!!
That fucking drummer man
Geez... I remember when I used to pick up Kerrang! at my local candy/newsstand. It used to feature bands like AC/DC and Judas Priest, readers polls, and other fluff stuff. Times sure have changed! These guys totally knock it out of the park on the technical scale. I have to marvel at the intensity/creativity of the band and the musicianship. This is mind blowing from a performance perspective. The drummer must have six legs. The band is incredibly tight and there are some really cool things going on here. The vocalist must single-handedly keep Sucrets in business. Can't say I'm a fan of the screamo approach, but I get it. All in... pretty impressive.
The sax solo at 25:00 is incredible, followed by that insane guitar section.
It Blow up my senses Dude! Truthly Fuckin' awesome Band!!!
Dammmmnnn! My dog listened this, now it's a WOOOOLLLF!
This is insane!!! OMG!

Stay afloat and enjoy some incredible music everyone x
