The hardest workers in world rugby in my opinion. They're not the biggest or most physical team but their level of fitness is unbelievable. Being able to go 10+ phases without ever getting disorganised takes a lot of work off the ball. Defensively I'm also always impressed how they're disrupting every single ruck, it takes a lot of energy for a player to tackle someone, get up , resist a clear out and start a counter ruck... Real workhorses.
yeah so few people know how exhausting any type of wrestle is, and using your quads for clear outs, and running to the next one. It's the change of muscles and energy used. It's absolutely grueling and you would never know it watching the lads
The fact you said Ireland aren’t physical probably indicates a real lack of understanding of the game. How do you think they secure every breakdown, will the gainline, have a strong set piece, hence winning 17 test matches in a row. Same with Leinster who win 99 per cent of their matches. Fitness lol, in professional sport?
@@eoinh3816 I never said they weren't physical, I said not the most physical but I'm not expecting you to know how to read since you obviously struggle with the meaning of words anyway. South Africa is the most physical team at international level (or England with the women is even more obvious) and La Rochelle is the most physical team at club level. Players like Mbonambi, Antonio, Etzebeth, Skelton, PSDT, Botia, De Allende, Danty etc are heavy carriers, enforcers, they hurt the opposition and tire them with their physicality. You'll probably grab a dictionary to try and play around the definition of "physical" but in rugby terms I'm 100% right and you know it. That's the reason I was praising Ireland this way, they don't have a heavy scrum, they don't have players over 140/150 kilos but they make up for it with technicity, grit, organisation, hard work and strong mental.
@@snowmotion9921 La Rochelle recruit natural physical monsters yes absolutely. Obviously we know the extra supplements issue that goes on in South Africa at underage levels also which gives them an advantage physically but nothing the Irish players can do about that rather than just hope World Rugby stop it
Ive always loved that last clip, its the most unstoppable team you could have. Make ground on every carry and complete every pass for 80 mins, you win every game.

In terms of what he can do for Ireland im not sure Ireland would swap any coach in the world for Andy Farrell at the moment, O’Gara probably the only one that comes close
@@RazorMouth id have O’Gara or O’Connell, can’t see Nienaber taking over another international side, the ideal scenario would be O’Gara after Farrell and O’Connell after O’Gara altho I wouldn’t blame O’Connell for not wanting to be a no.2 for such a long period of time

Some great actions, but it still dosen't reach the "artistic level" of the French flair, the major part of that moves looks "set-piece/mathematical", but at a very high scale !
Desperately needed Balacoune for that quarter v the All Blacks. From about 65 mins on ,Ireland were doing a rolling Munster barrage ,but with Sexton ,Beirne and a wrecked Akee
First Team in the professional era to win a test series in NZ? Farrell still a beast even if WC heartache again.

Last try was a perfect example of that, pure grit, skill and bloody minded determination.

Andy Farrell will be remembered as one of the iconic Irish coaches across all sports in Ireland. Long may his reign continue with Ireland
Great stuff Andrew
It's like watching a clock engine.
2 passages from the 80th minute and beyond of the QF....ouch!
so good!! When's Hansen get back? Where's Conway? Mckloskey, Henshaw, Aki, Ringrose!! Cant wait for November!!
Conway has retired due to injury unfortunately.
Conway retierd over a year ago

Yep, Mack Hansen would never score that restart try if it wasn't for Andy Farrell 😂
You’re right but if I hadn’t included it I’m sure people would have complained!
Andy Farrell only mentioned so typical not to give actual players credit but of course they are Irish.

How ireland could of won that game is by not given nz a 13-0 lead, that would of done it and ireland would of stopped the QF hoodoo
