For a small country compared to others. The Irish are a well drilled side. I remember the 90s where we were like Italy 🇮🇹 always getting the wooden spoon they used call it. Because we used always seem to lose every game. So any Italian people watching 👀 give your country time. It will happen. We had to wait 100s of years. 😅. But we have won the 6 nations a few timez but Grandslam is very difficult to win. So to finally do It on Irish soil was amazing. But you go from a high of winning the last few weeks to thinking what do I do now. I really hope this world Cup we don't do what we always have done and bottle it. But honestly at first when Farrell was called coach I was like why. But man he has won me over very quickly. And he has brought alot or great talent together in 4 years. The amazing thing about this week. Is we still have very talented players who were not involved in this 6 nations so they will be all fighting for this world Cup. And Farell only wants players to show they want it. Last year playing New Zealand and choosing to also play the Mauri was a great thing by Farell because in the first game against the Mauri players thought they would be not playing against New Zealand but its far from true as Earls got to start against New Zealand after playing at the week so Farell and Co are picking great strategies through the last few years to look at as many players as possible because he wants players to know if you show up you'll be selected. So my fingers are so crossed that we have a injury free side going to France and let's make some history
What a laod of emotional rubbish, italy have handful of games won in six nations over what a 100,its a soccer nation, and what's wrong with relegation match in so,-called competition with Georgia 🇬🇪, and game was better in 90s,because at least smaller nations, lik tonga,Fiji, Samoa, were able to play for there nation of birth, unlike now, project players, England, Ireland france full of them, and on a final point, not appropriate to italy in six nations just to keep them there so fans from private colleges, can a trip away in Rome for wkend
The key words are 90s and wooden spoon, infact with the exception of France, most the Northern sides were poor in the 90s. So fast forward 25 years later it's *no coincidence* with the introduction of *Southern Coaches* and the dreaded *"2 year eligibility"* rule where reject Southern players (who weren't good enough to rep their birth Country) are now able to play for Northern teams, on the *International stage* that we now have a *vast improved and competitive* Northern teams, especially from Ireland in the last *8 years* than we ever have the past 100 years. But not once have I ever seen any acknowledgement from Northern fans that this to be true whatsoever. To them, Ireland just "magically improved" all of a sudden 😂 funny that! From a *NZ Maori* 💪🏾
This is a lazy compilation of RWC tries. Nothing included from the current team as a result and many of our very best moments excluded: Sexton DG v France, Gordy Hamilton v Oz in RWC 91, BOD hat trick v France, Horgan in the corner v England, Stockdale v NZ, Heaslip’s “try of the decade” v Italy, and so on ...
hopefully us irish casn get past the quarter finals for once. and maybe final. i feel we have good mental fortitude now as a team. teams pre now would mentally break in crunch matches. a bit unconfident of us in world cups since we have failed in so many so just hoping we do better this year

Love from the States! Ireland is my favorite rugby team and country in Europe!
Support your own country, mate. USA rugby needs your support much more. The Irish have their own.
