    The Blitzboks footwork, their pace over that 1st 25m to close out space, then the using that pace to counter. They are a nightmare. You have to dominate them physically, bully them of the ball and in contact. You might need 14-players to do so.

    So the usual elementary counter to pressure is the chip and chase. No other team tried a kicking counter? Sorry if a dumb question.

      Not a silly question at all. The teams they played didn't kick, but I think that's for a few reasons: Selwyn Davids and Brown are often operating as Sweepers (look at the Irish clip and how Davids becomes the counter attacker) - and also just outgunned for pace by the Boks.
      They are fast across the whole team as opposed to having a gas man like isles/Baker.
