It's not equal though, because men and women aren't equal. Men are biologically polygamous and women are biologically monogamous for preservation of the human race. And men have plenty of gender roles to fulfill and sexual exclusivity doesn't weigh as high on the priority list as it does for women.

Anyone can emotionally cheat, e.g. a husband might say to his wife 'oooh I think Jessica Alba is hotter than you' but that doesn't mean that the husband doesn't love his wife more than Jessica Alba, and it doesn't mean that the husband would have sex with Jessica Alba rather than his wife. 3. I think kissing another person who is not the spouse is cheating. I think having sex with someone who is not the spouse is also cheating. Yes, going to prostitutes counts as cheating. 4. I wouldn't mind, as long as the partner comes back to me and as long as she doesn't get STDs. 5. Yes 6. No, even though my wife cheated on me, I still love her and seeing physical violence on her would be too sad to see and it is immoral so I wouldn't do it. 7. If I found the love of my life then would be no reason to cheat. 8. I would stay out of my best friend's business because that is between him and his wife, it's got nothing to do with me. But, I would be disgusted by my best friend's actions. 9. I think women face greater social pressure. In some countries, there is more leniency if the man cheats, but if the woman cheats she could get executed by stoning to death or she could be hounded down by mobs and she will be left as an outcast.
I'm a guy so I can only speak on what I think but I would find the physical cheating to be worse. Because most girls I talk to, especially Chinese girls, they need to form a bond and really like a guy before they'll even let them do anything such as holding hands. So if my girl ends up cheating physically， I know she was also emotionally cheating

For whatever reason the average person's idea of friendship is unquestioned loyalty with zero criticism. Those of us who want our friend to be better by giving them the truth and those who can accept that are a minority.
Which goes to show that one has to take these interviews with a pinch of salt. If a woman believes 60% are cheating, chances are she and her friends are in that 60%.. And the truth is, they also think they can cheat but their partners shouldn't. They just never use the word "swingers" which in reality is what they are

Fascinating book about life in China a hundred years ago and it was no picnic for women then either. Baby girls were left outside to die and would be eaten by animals at night just like in places like Pakistan where girls would be left out in the sun to die. At least Chinese women have rights today. Caldwell's book is called The China Coast family and you can still find it online.

我觉得如果你要理解为什么人出轨你需要考虑一下结婚的压力。很多人结婚了太早了因为压力。其实他们不准备好了还是结婚一个不爱的人。
If you want to understand why people cheat you needed to consider the pressure to marry. Many people marry too young because of pressure or marry someone they dont love.
Note that perhaps the betrayed party (assuming they didn't cheat as well) , were also pressured into marriage and married young but chose not to cheat. What you're saying is simply an excuse that show the cheaters' flaws in their characters. GOOD people don't cheat !

these are mainland chinese people, chinese government doesn't allow same-sex marriages but Taiwan does and was actually the first Asian country to legalize same-sex marriage in 2019
in HK being LGBT is unacceptable, but in china it's somewhat okay, like people don't care. but it's not legal to get married, no.

@@malakatan3235 You think it was better before? I read a book by an American born in Fujian named John Caldwell into a missionary family. He learned Fujianese before he learned English. Fascinating book about life in China a hundred years ago and it was no picnic for women then either. Baby girls were left outside to die and would be eaten by animals at night just like in places like Pakistan where girls would be left out in the sun to die. At least Chinese women have rights today. Caldwell's book is called The China Coast family and you can still find it online.
