Thank you for your transparency. You’re not selling us a dream and that’s what I love about you and your channel. I’m at a point where I can’t afford to be delulu so thank you for this.
Hi again, Tarra! You are such a good speaker and have really important things to share, and I really hope your channel grows. I think you have a lot to offer. As a long-time student of personal growth I have read voraciously, and while I was listening to this video a book I read some months ago came to mind and I would like to recommend it to you. I think it is absolutely brilliant, and something you would want to be aware of as you think about your own goals, and help others with theirs. It's called The Twelve-Week Year, and it's about how when we set goals for a year from now we get caught up in our own human inclinations, and put things off, but when we set goals for 12 week periods, we actually tend to not put off for tomorrow what we can do today. I think you'll like it!
@@janinafisher101 Thank you for the kind words and thank you for sharing ✨. I just realized I have this book sitting in my wish list. I’m going to download the audiobook to start reading it because what you said sounds very intriguing. I also have the 4 hour workweek which I should probably read soon too 😅
This was a good video. Thank you for sharing. I agree the self care part is important as well as celebrating victories. I learned this year about the importance of celebrating my wins. I like that you touched on the many hats we wear as well as knowing clear goals
@@storiesbydesirae Thank you for the kind words and for watching this video. Self care is very important and I plan on sharing more about it on my channel because I’ve come across way too many artists that aren’t practicing self care. I’m glad you learned the importance of celebrating your wins. Many blessings to you ✨
Thank you for always being so real and open! I especially connect with the loneliness factor-it’s me and my cat all week while I paint, and I’m still trying to figure out the best way to socialize even after years of growing my business. I appreciate you and your videos so much!
@@fableandscript Thank you for the kind words and for sharing your journey. I think it’s important for aspiring artists to know the reality of what it takes so that they can be better prepared. I’m sure you’ll figure out the best way to socialize even if it’s virtually ☺️✨❤️
Great video, and it’s popped up in my feed at the perfect time: I have a good, well-paid job right now and constant daydreams of what it might be like to follow the artistic/maker dreams I’ve had since childhood… but a family to help support, so I’m doing my very best to keep my eye on the prize while still being pragmatic 😅 lol thanks for the tips, definitely subscribing

@@aradhya-jp2tc Yeah it’s not easy to start or manage a business. A lot goes into it especially in the beginning. Everyone’s circumstances are different so do what’s best for you. Good luck on your job search.
