Also what you said about using the tough times to validate your feelings of unworthiness, so powerful, because here you are showing us that we don't have to do that, and we can look at our tough times not as validation of our worthiness, but in a different lens completely. Great testimony, thank you for sharing that. I too am a bit scared of what my journey looks like next. I'm currently leaving a gallery and want to go more towards teaching or mentoring in some way. I get frustrated that I don't know exactly what that is going to look like, but this is a great reminder to turn it back over to the Lord and trust that He has a plan and can work out all the details. If we just keep moving, then God can steer us in the right direction. We just need to keep yielding to Him. May God bless you on your journey!

I am not a catholic or Christian, but I do believe in a creator or something bigger than us! I am a performing artist and writer, lately I have felt the need to pray and meditate, and just surrender. And somehow today this video pops up, I feel this is a signal for me to re-center in my creative road. I have the same struggle as you do, about comparing, but everyone is different, the point here is to dare and try! Focus on US. Like you say, cultivate our own fruits, plan out seed, nurture it and sooner, rather than later it will bloom!
