Thanks for uploading these educational videos, it’s a dream for a lot of us, most of us walking blindly but with pure faith in the dream, let’s make it happen! Also note to self: Change your mindset to accepting you’re the best and that’s all that is needed to fuel the vehicle to produce prolific bodies of work. Ask yourself why you are doing this? Who doubts you and thinks you’re just an artist “working on your little drawings” instead say to yourself “ I am the best and working from a place that only accepts my best, i am capable of creating prolific art like the greats, James Jean is a huge inspiration, I am at his level and constantly working to subdue any emotions and just be mechanical when it comes to the creative process!” Let’s go!!!

Thanks for the information. I'm lost in trying to market my art. I've never been to art school but I enjoy painting. I really want to sell my work but get afraid when trying to figure out how to go about it all

Forget about figuring it “all” out. I still haven’t figured it all out and to be honest, I probably never will… That’s all the reason I need to keep figuring it out lol. Take baby steps. Create small goals like posting your art online once a week. Then do it twice a week as you get more comfortable and keep growing from there. The more the world sees your art, the more potential buyers appear. Hope that helps ♥️

Thank you Junior. I wish I could have seen this video years ago when I gave up the 9-5 for fulltime artist and then reality hit LOL. Years later after working and finally now retired and now it's all in. Keep it up. Peace

Very good video. The thing that really was hard for me was working hard and watching the government and insurance companies making more than me. Another thing to watch is not letting the business out grow you. As my projects became bigger and more complex I had to bring on help. They take away from what you as an artist can do. I often wonder how much of a better artist I could have become with out the "help". I retired, but, am still creating. I just give my creations away so I don't have to deal with the government and insurance companies and can work when I feel like it.

I think utilizing AI, i.e. Chat GPT, can be useful for creating schedules and gathering information in whatever area that might seem daunting. Awesome video, very informative, well thought out, and sincere. I look forward to my transition to being a self employed artist in the future. I am learning to observe and duplicate the same structure as my current occupation.
