I had another cop neighbor who used his Tahoe (fully decked out/unmarked/very sweet ride) to pull his fishing boat. He'd go on fishing trips with it. Just 2 examples. I'm not sure how or why cops are allowed to use their work cars for personal work, especially since it's the taxpayers who pay for it. "can't believe he put himself in this situation by driving his cruiser on his off day to go pick up a prescriptions... take a freakin uber you moron."

I guarantee you if he was allowed to leave the scene with the promise of showing up in a half hour, he would not show up and the excuses would be huge and non stop. What a crock.
Dude said "all I need is 30min and I will go anywhere you need me to go....." then he is asked what is so important that you need to do??? Then his list of things easily sounded like 2+ hours of shit he "needs" to do...smdh!

To be fair if they were falling for it he was right: They dont have bodycams and could have just walked away and say in their report that everything checked out. They were hardballing him and forcing him to get a test immediately because they werent falling for his bs. Same reason they didnt just let him get his own stuff out of the car, they were willing to bet with his attitude that they would find something in it which is why they insisted on a 3rd officer to keep an eye on him while they talked.
Laws are for thee but not for me. These are the types of officers that need to be removed from policing. Hat tip to all the supervisors 👍🏻👍🏻, great job guys.
He knew exactly what he was doing though. After watching the whole vid he clearly knew they got the call about the mailbox, but he also figured there was no "proof" of it aside from what he could call some lady who just hates cops. They all had an easy out, which would be to drug test him real quickly. They were going to just let it go if he passed a drug test because as he said, it would be his word against hers.. They couldn't possibly let it go altogether since he was in a city vehicle. This is what pissed them off so bad but they couldn't come out and say it. They knew he did it but he was refusing his easy out because he knew he would fail the test. They also even hinted he would have had a better chance just taking the test.. could have been fighting it later with re-tests and still walked away 'clean'. They were both basically trying to 'help each other out' but dude just wasn't getting the hints because he was too busy trying to imply he needed to 'get right' before taking the test for all their sakes.

Do you think that police officers get promoted for all the people that they stopped and let go because they were innocent? No, they move up the ladder on how much revenue they generate and arrests made whether the person is innocent or not. Don't believe me, just do the research on your own. Better yet, ask the lady that was arrested for meth that turned out to be blue cotton candy. Should have been easy and quick to clear that up right away you would think. Nope.....she sat in jail for 30 plus days. There goes your job, possibly your house, not to mention the impact on your family/kids. Why you ask? Because innocent people don't make the judicial system any money. Plus, they can't admit that they made a mistake. Are there good police officers? Yes, but they're either ostracized because they have integrity(i.e. you don't get promoted, raises,, etc) or they're drug over to the dark side. Or they just give up and quit. @UCp2sgOhO2BN8PujKzYl3sJw, yeah, if they have an attitude, but if they ask you to comply to a request, then just do it. If you're black you don't have that luxury of giving a cop attitude, just because they give you one, unless you want a trip to jail.
Coker would have gone hands on in 2 minutes if he pulled someone over that acted like this.
yeah this dude pretty much has zero business “protecting and serving” in any capacity
They don't "protect & serve." The Supreme Court ruled that they are under no obligation to protect you. So, what does that leave us?? Stop, detain, write tickets, make arrests, etc. There is no incentive for them to uphold the law & your constitutional rights. There are; however, many incentives to do all the things I listed above. That all leads us to what we have today. It's broken!

Every video I’ve seen of a cop being pulled over, detained, arrested, etc. acts the same exact way. They demand special treatment and empathy that’s never extended to civilians.
Cops use to give empathy 20-30 years ago but when they let you go under the influence it’s becomes their responsibility and they are liable. They also have cameras now so they can’t give freebies to anyone.

Well it’s kinda unfair that in the fire department if you have a drinking or drug abuse problem they help you and if your an officer and have that issue they fire you
Different professions. Not unfair. Police are out here holding civilians to these laws. They should be following the rules they uphold. Also they won't fire you for a drinking problem unless they find you drinking on the job, and I think usually you end up on paid leave or shuffled. Police rarely get fired. The people who get fired are whistleblowers.
@@alexvillalobos7137 My uncle was NYPD and retired as detective after 22 years. Mostly because after his wife divorced him, he met and married a seriously rich lady. In 1976 she was worth about $50 million. It was all inherited from her father who was a big ship builder. like oil tanker big ships!
He retired in 1976. In 1973, my brother was in the city and my uncle gave him a ride to the airport from his mid town Manhattan hotel, since my uncle was on duty, and a police car ride with red lights is a short ride. My brother tells me he was drinking a beer in his police car, in the morning, when driving him to the airport.
That means he was drinking on the job for at least 3 years, but maybe many years.
Sadly, he had the best stories to tell and was a great story teller, but he drank so much, I don't think he was ever sober. He socialized plenty, but drank for 10 am to 10 pm each day. His liver held out to age 66, which is quite a shock.
Government is abusive.
For those curious, he was thankfully fired over this. I couldn’t find anything on whether he tried to appeal that. But, honestly, by how thoroughly he was rung-out in the internal investigation, I doubt any sane person with the public’s safety in mind would question that decision
