I've been sleeping on Yamaha drums. I had always dismissed them, but between Patrick and Senri I'm consistently BLOWN AWAY at how thicc those drums sound.
Amazing articulation and execution of ideas and the sound of the kit is perfection.. What hit me when it was over was that it was very 'safe' which is fine but personally I need a bit more of an 'edge'.. but that's just me and not a criticism.. Awesome drummer
Great solo, dropping the cross stick in so smoothly in the Latin groove, and the little rim click fill was wicked. Sabian: ditch the rivets and get that china to production ASAP! How they could have gone this long without a true Ozone china is beyond me given the popularity and prevalence of the other ozone cymbals and the holy china.
