Not too late, though. Became a dad in my forties. It‘s mainly been a blast. And in over twelve years there have been only five days or so in which I wasn‘t around for our kid, if only to have dinner and tuck him in.
Makes you really bitter in todays world. Lots of people are forced to work most of their awake life away just so they can survive or just to keep their job. My last couple employers would force us in on overtime where we'd work 13 days on get 1 day off then another 13 days. Really puts a strain on your body and relationships. Im 33 and would like to have a kid before im too old but id never get to see them
We as parents try to give our kids everything…but our time
Am I the only one who tears up a little listening to this?
I do also it's my life....was the son then am the dad
I did 26yrs over the road and left my kids behind😢
I’m crying now
My father went crazy and now he's dying and there's little I can do about it.
No
RIP Dad I grew up the way you wanted me to
This song is so hauntingly beautiful . My kids are 3, 11, and 14, and although I've always loved this song, it means even more to me now♥️
Wait until they grow up and move away from home..... this song will hit you even harder.
I can't help but think of my father. I miss you old man. See you on the other side.
❤Miss my dad too!
And that's what it's about
Yeah guys I miss him too
I'm worried guys in trouble is there anyone there
@magentaMegi I'm not in any trouble. Thank you for caring though. ✌️
Brings back great memories for a 67 year old dude! 🇺🇸

It also brings back memories for a 72 year old.

@@briang.9817 Thank you Brian. I hope you have a wonderful day today ❤️🙂⚘️.
That describes my life. "He had grown up just like me." Life is busy.❤
I hope this means we have some Harry reissues coming, it’s LONG overdue.
Amazing song with a lot meaning and fantastic singer ! ❤
HeartBreaking!
I’m playing this for my struggling generation anxious 17-year-old son ❤
God how I miss seeing him perform...so relaxed, so REAL!!!
I was 12 when this song came out and knew immediately this described our relationship.
This song really makes your reevaluate your priorities
Still a wonderful, soulful, timeless song. He was married to Mary Chapin. Both excellent!

We can buy a clock…but not time.,,we can buy a house…but not a home….you can buy a heart…but not Love
I sing this at my boss when she tries to dangle overtime at me.
Awesome 👍 💕😀
Loved this❤😂
Were this an illustrated story book, it'd be almost as sad as Shel Silverstein's "The Giving Tree".
My favorite childhood book. Still makes me cry even though I’m nearly 50 today.
Amazing ❤❤❤❤
I'll never have a rapport with this song because I'm nearly forty and don't have any kids. I don't think i ever will have any. I wish i did.
ITS NEVER TOO LATE, you shouldn’t speak like that. Words have a strange way of becoming true. SPEAK YOUR LIFE INTO EXISTENCE 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

I'm 54, no parental instincts, never wanted children and never will have children, but even I get emotional at this one.
Also a few for a 57 yr old 👍
Can't believe they made a song about the meme!
