I can almost breath this with one of my earliest memories. I was a child with my grandfather driving on an old dirt road in an old ford truck. A nice fall evening with the windows down, sun falling. .22 in the back looking for snowshoe hare with this song playing.
What a nice memory to have and keep
Yes, great memory to hold on to tight! 👍
Why is it those childhood memories when time stood still are the ones we remember
RIP Kenny, hopefully the "Gambler" found those aces...
The legend has fallen! Since my childhood now I am 30s and still listen to your songs and never get tired! Rest in Eternal Peace

Its 2024, and i still watch this masterpiece of a show. There are no half nude dancers, etc but pure singing, ... classics, timeless and perfect in all ways.
Haven't personally had too much money in life so for some reason I always remembered it as never count your blessings when you're sitting at the table. Saying grace before a meal is always counting your blessings at the table though.
I had 0
I have something now
This life is short
And either we come back or we get sentenced for good and bad
Whatever it is , do good
Good deeds outright outweight currency and material wealth
Then don't say grace. Thank your local farmer and the other people who got that food there. Thank the essential workers, the drivers, the scientists who optimized agriculture...

I hope as you showed your last hand you remembered that beyond your family you were loved and respected by countless fans across the world.

First the "gambler" wanted a swig of his whiskey for some "free" advice, then he bummed a cigarette, then he needed a lighter (that I guarentee he pocketed) I don't think this guy was a gambler at all, sounds more like a slick talking GD con artist to me, I swear I know a dude just like that named Lonzo. It was probably him.
This song has given me better advice than most people have
Lmao @ Tomas Balciunas
Tomas Balciunas music is a magical way of teaching. I remember music more than anything from my childhood. Its why I don't think two year olds should hear gangsta rap. When I'm alone in the morning, at my worst, hangover and sad, what I hear in my head is Eagle's songs. My dad was a musician so I don't doubt that factor, but no child should ever hear music promoting something horrible. I remember songs I learned in other languages as a kid, including Latin and an African tribal language. Dude. Seriously.
