Just got my watch today. Love it. Ordered on 10/29/24 and received today. 4 days from the UK to Texas. Wow. Awesome. I will be buying my next watch with your guys as well.
Bought my Squale 1521 in 2015 and recently popped it on a tropic strap, looks great and is one of my favourite dive watches, surprised to see how expensive they are now. 😊
Rarely do I like a sunburst dial on a diver, but Squale nailed it with this one. Maybe it is the greyish orange combination that keeps it purposeful and functional. Thank you for the review. (I confirm that this case is really comfortable on the wrist.)
Thank you for this Barry, it does look the part, as you say. It's nice to see another company fitting caprive bezels: we can't let Sinn have all the fun! Enjoy what's left of your weekend, LG Bob 🍻
This Squale is good in almost all aspect. Good looking, as good as Omega Seamaster James bond model, 500 M water resistance, Hands, Index, and Bazel all Lumped. US 1000 is price is killing Seiko and Longines etc. The down sides are the power reserve is 38 hour is too low in nowadays . Only 500 pieces limited edition means you are possibly cannot found in the market. All reserved by their fans.
The power reserve I have not problem with in fact I prefer it in many ways as many of the 70 hour running models slow the beat rate down to 6 beat a sec like Seiko and Longines and so the second hand ticks more instead of gliding around the dial as it should on a 8 beats per second watch, plus why do you need a watch to last that long ?
@@ClickSpringReview I have 7 watches rotate daily or 2 to 3days. The 42 hours power reserves watches are always stopped and need to winding due to placed it last for 2 days. Gave me some trouble.
It’s better to let them power down that way you may get an extra year or two before needing to service them plus with ETA 2824 and SW200 it’s not recommended to over hand wind them just 10 turns and let your wrist do the rest
Now that’s a beautiful tool! BTW, it is “ma ree nah”, not marine… and “mi li ta reh”, not “mita leh”. It is actually pronounced exactly as it is written, though I know it is a difficult concept for English speakers.
@ColonelJGHyde yeah, watch snobs don't rate them, but after handling one and looking into what movement was inside I bought one, they are quality watches compared to some well known brands out there asking for alot more and with quality issues

I'm starting to really like the brand myself and can see myself getting one at some point
Thank you , I own a 1521 over ten years and still love it, they do fit nice on the wrist, very under rated
This one just looks great I think they nailed it with the colour choices

I'm pretty sure I will end up with a one in the collection at some point

Its true Bob 😁
Very nice watch looks great on that strap
Yeah it really suits it 👍🏻
Kind of like a mix between the MarineMaster 300 and Tuna. I like it.
Yeah I can what you mean there :)
A GREAT watch with a legendary case!
Yeah sure is 👍🏻

@@ClickSpringReview Thanks for your advice.
Anytime Sir 👍🏻
This is a great watch 😊. Well thought out
good video 😊
Cheers sir 👍🏻
Great review. Watch looks fab, but the ‘Marina’ text looks massive. I know there are worse offenders for filling up dials with text, but…
I think you can tell but I really liked this one, looked good and felt comfortable on the wirst
As usual very good review.
Thank you this I found easy to review as its a great looking model
Now that’s a beautiful tool!

There play thanks for the info 👍🏻
Odd to me that there are no drilled lugs.
Nice looking watch though.
True would of been nice to seen some on this model
Superb
Sure is Robert
A lot of bad press about the brand. But it's ultimately in my humble opinion a great watch brand with legendary providence.
I'm new to the brand only in the last 2 months have I been reviewing them and from what I see there pretty well spot on

I've seen nothing wrong with them so far, decent moments good regulation nice cases Win Win
Hopefully you don’t still have to send them to Gnomon for warranty work
Why that I don’t know them ?
Great review. I just ordered one from your store.
