Very sound investment ideas. I have also been heavily invested in AMD and NVDA since 2015, given the omnipresence of semiconductors in our lives, the high barriers to entry and awesome profit margins involved. Been going strong as a self-employed trader now for almost 10 years and looking to explore the expat/digital nomad lifestyle as of this year (will be in Japan, Thailand, Vietnam in October). One of your best videos mate. Yes I got my finger (tips) burnt as i didn't invest too much in Fisker and sold out before they declared bankruptcy. A cardinal sin as I thought (emotion) that they would sky rocket but the fundamentals were dire. I have learnt a lot from this and will watch again.

@@RetireandGo I left Cartagena on my moto and traveled to Ushuaia Argentina and back (arrived back a month ago after a year and 3 months) I was in Argentina at the same time as you ( I think that’s how I found you in a search of Argentina when I was checking sites on what to do) out of curiosity I actually went to the same restaurant by the palace where you had a glass of wine). I have a place in Cartagena as a second home I use it as a base to travel around South America on my moto, which is addictive, especially Colombia, parts of Ecuador and Bolivia, Argentina and the Patagonia region of Chile. A trip around North America would be interesting especially in the mountainous regions, just haven’t got around to it yet. Keep up the great productions, I’m considering SE Asia next which is why I’m watching your vids, good insights into destinations with a touch of finance and life management delivered with a super positive attitude. I add money to my portfolio every paycheque, and 1/3rd of the money goes into SCHD, and 2/3rd goes into SCHG. Just dollar-cost averaging and buy whatever I can at whatever price it is.

I've 10 studio's/condo's which I rent to expats and I've every month a passive income and make 10% rendement. So why gamble on stock just buy real estate in a big city and rent to expats or international students

@@RetireandGo I am buying all high earnings growth stocks and all of them are losing now. My strategy is to try to build a large account of growth stocks as quick as I can then go to dividends to live on passive income. Way easier said than done!

Excellent content. For me my goal is 8-10% a year over long term. I also want minimal downside in and given year. BRK is one third. In 2020 when Nasdaq was down 30+%, BRK was up. It’s a defensive position. No dividend. One third are defensive stocks. Over time 10+% return. One third forever stocks. These are stocks that have weathered the storms and have consistently innovated and become icons of reliability. Large growth with some tech. Well run, plenty of cash on hand. Average return 12-15%. I have resources monthly that I live well under. I’m a SE Asian slow traveler. An exciting interesting creative lifestyle for of adventure, cultural exploration and personal growth. The result: more peace of mind than I ever thought possible when I was back in the matrix, healthier than ever, and so excited and feeling so bright about my future I have to wear sunglasses 😎

I have built my own robot and I have spent more than 5 years on this project. Therefore I don’t care if the market goes up or down, as long as my robot makes money every day. I don’t believe in fundamentals, because the market doesn’t care intraday. My robot is my pension insurance. While writing this my trading robot makes money and this is my ATM.
How do you protect yourself from mosquitoes in the tropics? I was in Ubud for two weeks, got bitten by a mosquito and got dengue fever. You are there much longer, how do you protect yourself?

Great question I don’t touch the principle The interest I make pays my annual budget of $24,000 Or $2000 a month In fact I’m well below that so I buy some additional dividend stocks every month I don’t spend the principal investment at all :-) Does this help?

@pattaya2115 in the US, there’s something called a $1,000/month rule for retirement. In order to receive $1,000/month retirement at 5% annual rates, you’d need to have $240,000 in savings. As Chris has said, he is generating about $2,000/month in income from his investment. Easy math would tell you that he’s got roughly around $500,000 in saving (give or take). I might not be exact but I’m sure I’m pretty close with my estimate.
You telling us what many many other creators telling us. Why you are not tell what stocks you are invest in? That’s not financial advise, because you just say what you do.

If you are an older guy fixed interest deposits are a good idea. Then you rarely even have to think about money and you get a pay day every month.
