The upgraded versions of CPL and CTB are the most thought out versions of backpacks. So much consideration given to how they will be used most effectively. A suggestion,: On the next version, especially for the 24l and above, make the clamshell open on the longer edge opposite the laptop opening side, instead of the bottom opening, more like a suitcase.
*chefs kiss* I asked CS about a CTB 26 wide release in February. You guys didn’t disappoint. I know I’m not single-handedly the reason for the release bit I do like to feel listened to. We now have the Goldilocks bag between CPL24 and CPL28, with some cool travel features to boot.
I might just have to frankenstitch together the Mountain Hikpack through that luggage loop behind the back panel... I love a good sternum strap on a bag this size. Bringing those two together could make this an endgame bag for me.
Love the phoenix version that I have. If you guys could make a 22L version of this (mirrored please) in the 840D material I think it would be my ultimate EDC bag
When loaded with a 32oz. Nalgene, do the water bottle pockets push in on the main compartments capacity, or do they only expand and grow outwards? Thanks!
Hey could you guys do a comparison between the cpl 24 and the ctb26. Just for those struggling to decide which one to get for a 3 day getaway. Thank you
The side stretchy pockets for water bottles seem to be inconsistent with the overall toughness and robustness of the bag. I would appreciate it if there was another version of this bag where instead of using stretchy material, the same material as the body of the bag is used with a drawstring for adjustment instead.
I am interested in buying this bag. Does this have the same back issue that the 24L version is reported to have for some people -- digging into your back? I'm 5'8 -- not sure if height matters. If anyone has experience with this issue, would be great to hear about it. Thanks!
Interior is different too. The carryology version had orange liner while this is gray like their other bags. The molle pouch that the carryology version had is replaced by two webbing straps that are in most of their other bags. Lastly the carryology version came with a Phoenix patch. This version doesn't come with any patch.
@@Andorski, I appreciate your help. I have a brand new in the box CTB 26L Phoenix with the matching Cap 1 and patch. I'm not a fan of Xpac, so I am deciding if it's worth picking up the new CTB 26 as my daily bag and selling the Phoenix Collab. I have a CHZ 26, which I love, but I really like the clamshell opening of the CTB line.
guys . i hate you . specifically my wallet . i have the cfz22 already and the phoenix, i just got the cpl28 mirror and now you want me to get the ctb26 JUST BECAUSE you guys explain it so well . i really hate you guys . your bags are just too good
Think of it as the CTB 26 is used for short trips like a weekend or 4 or 5 day trip packing very minimally. We’re the CTB 35 I’d for a long trip we’re you want to take more stuff. I have the 35 and love it but plan on getting the 26 for short weekends / when I have to take more stuff to work.
@@johnpanda6201 awesome. I just can't decide. but both look the same really, just the smaller 26. I believe the 26 would be more comfortable anyway for a day carry
@@thegixlad27 yeah for daily I’d definitely go with the 26, but for real traveling and weekend trips I’d go with the 35. I daily the PLC 20 and I couldn’t be happier. It’s such a good bag.
I used my CTB35 for a 4 day trip recently… still had plenty of room to pack more. When it comes to capacity it is better to have excess than not. Also for me, I don't like bloated stretched to the seams over packed look…
Anybody tried it yet that can say if the capacity is way less than that of the CPL28? Or is there really not much of a difference? Can both fit the same amount of Packing Cubes for example?
Now give us a good 15-17L edc bag. Cpl24 is too big, and that 20L basketball shell garbarrrrge is not the answer. A man can wish cant he🤷🏻♂️. Essentially, give us a ctb (change the name if you must) 15-17L. Thanksss.

It is great news for me! I have been waiting this CTB 26L for long time! 😍😍😍
Woot!

I love my CTB35… Those packing cubes, when are those dropping!
Do I spy an EG packing cube??
Great catch 😂
It's how they teased the cap 1 and some other new products. It always gets me
Just purchased mine!

Hold up. Are we just going to ignore the EG packing cube used in this video?
That is exactly what I was thinking.
i think that's the access pouch 2L.... might be wrong but fairly sure
That was definitely way bigger than the CAP 2
@@IndelibleVI
I agree!

I think this is the best minimalist travel bag on the market right now.
Bihn synik 30.
@@ES-qe1nh it’s decent, too many zippers and pockets for me, plus the shape is ugly imo.
These guys just keep putting out high quality gear. Can’t wait for my CTB26 to arrive!
no doubt . every single backpack has been a fucking banger
This is Evergreat!

That would be great. 26L still quite big for me cause I’m short 😅. Hope you make the 22L soon EVERGOODS ❤
Need ya'll to drop a 30L version real quick
I hope you make a 20l version of this bag!
20l is too small for travel. Not happening. People had to beg them to go down to 26!
@@James-zy4ncthey did it
Can I get some color options in the future?
Would love some colors
This...any color besides black will do.
Slate 🤤
Yes please! Would love some neutral colors, especially warm-toned
Purchased!
Damn now I have to buy another bag!
Will both a CAS2 and CAP1 fit together inside the interior mesh pocket?
When loaded with a 32oz. Nalgene, do the water bottle pockets push in on the main compartments capacity, or do they only expand and grow outwards?
Thanks!
🔥🔥🔥
Bought in immediately, now I gotta sell the phoenix version 😅
not sure if anyone replied to this... but do you want to sell your Phoenix to me?
Nice and compact one bag travel for my next travel ❤️
Why no pass-thru strap for trolley bags?
There is a passthrough for trolley bags! Check out minute 9:45 in the video.
The hard plastic on the inside. Are we suppose to remove it? Or just simply optional?

Did I make a mistake preordering the 28l cpl mirror?! 😫 I can’t decide!!!!

This is why you aren’t a bag designer … your ideas suck.
Need strap keepers

Is the admin panel sideways? Because I love everything else about this bag but the side panel is an instant no
Does it stand in itself?
@EVERGOODS, is this bag identical to the CTB 26L Carrology bag minus the exterior material?
