The mirrored should be standard, I know more adults that use a single (right) shoulder vs two straps. It's not a hiking backpack and it's nothing to do with looking cool...if I'm running from office to car or whatever I'm not going to 2strap it each time.
This video just sold me on this pack. Thanks for posting.
I use my all the time! Great design fellas!
I received this bag this week, the materials and organization are incredible, I love it, I think it will last the rest of my life. Thank you very much for delivering to remote corners of our planet, I use your bag in Siberia
Would it be a bit excessive if I purchased this for a beach bag lol. Would that work?
Bags are cool. But I follow you guys because of your passion for product design. That you sweat the details… and explain it. I hate to come with a wish, but here I am. And I wish these videos were more in depth. More detailed. More looks into sketches & designes of what you tried, what worked, what didn't, etc. It's all so fascinating and inspiring. Not sure if you intentionally keep them short, but I, for one, could watch 30 minutes of product design at a time, no problem. So let's compromise: 10 minute videos! :) Thanks again. Lovely stuff.
its unfortunate you guys decided to use Quick Side Release Buckles for the shoulder strap instead of D-rings making it more difficult to swap to any generic shoulder strap.
Just for fighting about this three years on. Any update on who’s smaller size or if you guys ever build out the line further? Thx.
The only reason I refrain from purchasing Evergoods bags is that I prefer to carry my purse on my right shoulder, which limits my ability to assist those in need when I swing it.
Had a CTB 35… sold it, it was massive.. Just picked up the Xpac/ Coyote CTB26, perfect size. Looks small but I can fit a 10 liter packing cube and CAP2 easily for a 3-4 day trip.
I'm really torn between the CTB26 or CTB35. I want to bring 4x of shirts, socks, underwear. 3x shorts and 2x pants plus 1x hoodies and a Dopp Kit. You think it would fit in CTB26?
Now do it for ctb
Any chance to have a smaller version of this? Same structure and organisation, just slightly smaller?
This is the last bag I need for my Evergoods collection! I am thinking Ecopak (Black) or Xpac would be a nice next in stock for this!
Great features and weight. Is it good for carrying books to school? Anyone tried?
I would have made coffee ahead of the hike. But that’s just me.
The side stretchy pockets for water bottles seem to be inconsistent with the overall toughness and robustness of the bag. I would appreciate it if there was another version of this bag where instead of using stretchy material, the same material as the body of the bag is used with a drawstring for adjustment instead.
This is why you aren’t a bag designer … your ideas suck.
Would a mini iPad fit in there?
I don't think so dimensions are 9.5 x 3.5 x 5.75 in
You should come up with a briefcase/messenger bag
Such a cool brand, and this pair of videos is so well done. Looking forward to everything coming from y'all.
My CTB20 is supposed to arrive tomorrow (15 June)! I am very excited!
Wow! It is a perfect size for me. I love this size for my EDC. Thank you for your resizing of CTB. 🤩
Just ordered it at Japanese official site. Can't wait!
Hopefully restocking soon.
Love the features of all these bags. But cant stand the fat design language. some of yall please... WHERE ARE YOU GOING daily that you need a travel fat backpack on in a day? reall question. ??!?!?!?!
Nomads that live out of their bags?😂 This bag is already 1kg+ by itself so with laptop, 24oz bottle and clothes it is definitely a hefty chonker to lug around. But for a dedicated travel bag, you just put it on rolling luggage and then lift it into ubers, that is about all the carrying usually lol. For edc no one will be packing all that at once so it should be half empty.
When will the black color be restocked? The beige color is so boring I wish I knew about this bag when they dropped the v2. Or when will you be releasing new colorways?
I hope you make more minimalist single cavity bags, smaller (<20L) and lighter (<1kg) would be great, like a mini CPL :D I wished this one had a huge side load quick access front pocket like the CPL instead of a deep top dump pouch. CPL16/24 is still too heavy and sometimes a padded laptop compartment is really not needed, perhaps a sleeve to fit a small tablet or 3L hydration pouch would be good enough for a small lightweight edc backpack.
That sold out fast! Congratulations but now I’m sad lol. In the waiting list
The item is currently out of stock. The stretchy material is not compatible with the sturdy material of the bag, making it an unsuitable combination. I hope the side water bottles are drawstring for adjustment and not using that stretchy mesh material.
So excited to get mine! Will be hitting the order button when you launch a coyote one too! Well done guys and thank you so much!
Looks like a £35 decathlon bag Quechua NH Escape 500
FINALLY!!! Maybe add a clip of the bag fitting under a plane seat evergoods
This eco pak Mt 22 panel bag pack is perfect to Carry out/indoor. Honestly, inside the laptop compartment pocket is very weak and loose.
As a small guy, I really appreciate this!
My CTB 26 or Phoenix 2 is still my favorite bag. If it was either a hair larger or if it wasn’t so narrow at the bottom, it would be absolutely perfect. I’m 6’3” and 241, so it fits me very well.
Asians: take my money here I give you !
Still looking for you guys to make a 45L travel bag 😊
Really hoping for a mirrored version of this one!!
This is 20L measured by internal pocket dimension?
So looking forward to this one!
Fantastic little package.
Holding out for an EcoPak version… this is perfect for overnight trips.
FIX YOUR BACKPACKS DIGGING INTO OUR LOWER BACKS
It doesn't dig if you wear the bag up high. Evergoods backpacks are probably the most comfortable backpacks (aside from GoRuck with their straps).
Great travel companion for carry on spinner suitcase. I was really missing luggage pass-through on my CPL24 Mirror. Lack of water bottle holders was not a deal breaker for me, but juggling with backpack at the airports while it can easily be placed on top of the suitcase was the real struggle. Now I have to consider can I switch from mirror to the regular one, but you can't have it all, I guess. 😀Anyway, great job guys! 👍
I love the CTB so much. My only wish is for an additional harness option in "XL" size for us big guys. Something that would compete with the size and thickness of Goruck, Alpha One Niner, or Mystery Ranch Futura harness options. The CTB bag design is virtual perfection in every size. It's my absolute favorite bag style, but I carry a pretty heavy load whether traveling or office commuting and the straps leave me a little bit wanting in the comfort department in the way that they thin out and end so quickly as it comes around the shoulders by the arm pits. An "XL" harness option that's a couple inches longer and a little bit wider... and I no longer have a use case for most of my other packs. PLEASE make this a reality. Start with CTB26 or CPL24 and I'm 10,000% on board.
Agreed the harness is the weak point, sold my CTB35 for that because the size of the bag was not proportionate to the strap, it dug into my shoulders.
Never expected this to happen. Awesome!
Honestly I was hoping for a CTB 19.99L. 20L is just too big.
You need to pls make a 45L carryon, I have your old 40L, I like it just not big enough, the extra 5 makes a difference. I love the space that you give your pockets by the way, and the pocket on the yolk is genius!!

Wish the luggage pass through was vertical. Much more practical 😊🤘🏼
Water bladder hose pass-through into the main compartment?
yes - that is still offered in CTB20
