I own multiple Evergoods bags, their pouch, and their sling. One of the bags I own is the CTB40. It’s a good bag for travel, but that bag didn’t replace my GR2 35L. This bag, the CTB 35L, this is what I’ve been waiting for. I can see this bag being my main travel bag. I will be purchasing and cannot wait to use it. 🙌🙏🙌
This looks like a great bag! I've been EDCing my CPL24 and using my CPL28 for one bag travel. However, the CPL28 still ends up being a little small depending on how long I'm traveling for, or what gear-oriented activities I'm getting into while I'm travelling. Thus, this looks to be a great solution! I'm looking forward to hearing more about the CAP1 as well. I love the CAP2 that I have, but sometimes don't need the bulk of it. Keep up the great work guys!

I would adore for the features like the luggage pass through, water bottle pockets and dual side handlers, and the top front pocket to be available also on the CPL 24 or 28. Maybe make a CTB 30 or 28? 👀 Edit: got my wish but it's only ok carryology lol
I would love to know how the volume is divided up between the various pockets. I guess the main question is how much volume is in the primary bucket area. I always struggle with how to use pocket areas and seem to run out of primary space when packing.
I have this bag and its amazing, i like it much more than my Aer travel bag. The only way i would say this CTB35 can be improved is to have all pouch/drop-in pockets that exist inside the bag to be made of the same waterbottle stretch material. That stuff is so good it would make the bag much more usable to actually hold down items smaller items. Awesome job!

The vaunted cpl 22l that everyone seems to think is the end all be all of its time doesn’t have those pockets and for the life of me I never understood why they weren’t included. To me that’s a basic feature of any bag no matter what the use for the bag may be.
@@evergoods_ to be fair, after reading your reply and rethinking my post, I believe it came off sounding a bit snide and quite harsh, which I hadn’t intended. I wouldn’t cry if side pockets were on the CAP of course, as I find them quite handy, but I must not care too much since I pre-ordered a black and orange phoenix on the second offering that I knew wouldn’t arrive for months. (I missed the original solid orange release which I’m still sobbing about). Oh, and I just received my signal blue MHP 3.5L but I can’t find the water bottle pouch, WTF guys? /Sarcasm off! ;) Appreciate the reply !
Do you have plans to sell the new sternum strap design on its own? It's the only part of my current bags that can annoy me when they pop out. Can't wait for you to take my money on this one though :)
@@johnmca5643 I agree on the weight!! The AER travel bag is 3.7 at 33 liters.. (which many people like) Not a travel bag for SE Asia. I like the CPL24 at 2.9 pounds and that's heavy in its class.
Is it waterproof or is there any way to protect it from water? this is probably the most important feature in a bag that is designed to hold an expensive MacBook Pro

My guess is 1.8kg. CPL28 is 1.6kg and this has lighter fabric but larger, alum stay for framesheet, new back panel, extra front pocket, WB pockets, hip belt. Maybe 1.9kg.

it does BUT (have travelled with it) small planes may have rules where they don't allow it as it is techically bigger than. a "personal item"

They are amazing friend. They work wonderfully. They are made of nice stretch woven than most apparel brands jackets haha.
I’ve used their water bottle pockets on the CHZ and MPL and honestly think they’re the best in the business.
Unfortunately ita overpriced. Not good value
