I watched this video yesterday and today I found a UC Chimera III around Archimedes I-a - via "Ship" Icon. It was full of spacers trying to scam me after they scanned me, so I didn't even get a bounty for taking it off their hands lol
For smugglers play along for the 1st part say 'your right on time' or whatever. Fo the next part say 'you have the wrong guy'. They will turn hostile you can then kill them all without bounty or pissing off your companion. Exit ship place an outpost beacon (optional just makes it easier to find again). Leave the system and then go back to your outpost (or landing site) all the bodies will be gone on the ship and then you can claim the ship.

Not worth killing him for, and now that is not the only ship he can have so sometimes his ship is junk anyway, besides you can build a way better ship.
I am now playing through the main game after getting the Bellum Starborn spacesuit. It looks good and is better than my fully modded Bounty Hunter Suit. Went to Masada V1-a planet as you advised in a previous play through and this time found a Claymore 111 landing and now have a decent ship for free. Thanks for your continued support for players who might struggle with finding decent ships. Once again though no UC ships allow me to pilot them? I am not part of the UC this time but last time I was a UC Captain. Doesn’t make sense to me but means I carnt get that stunning ship.
My main ship is the claymore III. First thing i did is make sure i had nothing but particle beam weapons on it. I am thinking about removing the turret and putting the missile launcher back on it
level 60, that means you should not try to get this in world zero, wait till you get to NG+ since I did that at like 51. So yeah finished the world all powers and did not reach 60, someone else was saying to build a 800,000 ship, nope don't have that either. I get that your guys maybe love the game but not all of us build 3 or 5 bases and have stuff flying all over from base to base so you can build something with huge value. As we start with higher and higher levels I can see how it would be easy to get lost in the videos.
If the ship is labeled as a freestar ship they are all non steal able. Still waiting to get my own Vista lol they're super rare. I believe once you own a ship they start appearing more regularly. Also the crimson wight technically is different because it has a shielded cargo so it's worth a bit more than other varients. The Slayton engines of the same model that cost 50k and don't have any prerequisites to use except being able to fly c class ships will give the crossbow 100 mobility.
I'm level 32 and the Vista is NOT spawning for me at all lip. After re loading saves for idk how many times. Or different planets and even in different systems.
Unfortunately the vista can be very illusive and if its not in your spawn pools its best to try buy it when you can. Or try find a civilian one in space.
On the freestar smuggler Vista ship, I always answer. I am not the guy they’re looking for, and I do that twice, and then the captain will attack you, and then you are free to kill all the crew to secure the ship without a bounty. I then go outside and put down a base and then warp to another system and come back to that same base and now I can get in the pilot seat and claim it. All crew bodies will also be removed.

i find a good way to get the chimera to spawn is to get a bounty in the uc without starting the uc vanguard quests and eventually the uc sysdef will come and find you to begin the pirate sidequest, ive had the chimera show up multiple times like that, now i cant remember what version showed up, 2 or 3 but they do showup.
Fun Fact: Claymores have at least 1 Permanent spawn point. If you find it, it will keep respawning after some time. I found it during my first venture into the main story. I also was able to replicate this to verify. I cannot confirm if any updates have nerfed the spawn point. I forgot where it spawns, because I needed to max my powers. However, I will continue searching for it. Also there was a video that also noted this despite the content focused on a 6-8 resource outpost. I do remember the location is centered close to the coast where 3 biomes meet.
The Revelation and Scarab are two of my favorites to commandeer and modify. They look great modified, but are a PITA to get right...mostly meaning not having ladders all over the ship. All other generic ship types are up for sale, but got to take the time to check for contraband first.
The Revelation and Scarab are awesome choices! I totally agree, they look fantastic when modified, but getting the layout just right can be such a hassle-especially trying to avoid those pesky ladders everywhere. And yeah, checking for contraband on those generic ships before selling is a must. It’s time-consuming, but definitely worth it in the end. Keep at it!
I think with the Vista (a,among other ships) if you combine Nova or Stroud parts with Deimos you can get some really amazing looking ships that combine the angular Deimos look to the more curved looks of the other two. A similar thing can be said of combining them with HopeTech stuff in place of Deimos if you're going more freighter and less fighter... For ship spawns my experience has been that there aren't any hard level locks with random spawns. Although the shop items in the builder are gated behind levels the actual ships that pop in the vendor's sale inventory only appear to be dictated by some kind of style/mfg list. Essentially with this stuff (and encounters) the game looks at your level, the level of the system you're in and/or a specific level tied to the dungeon/opponent and calculates what should spawn. You see it with Ranger Terminal missions where a dungeon is populated by enemies appropriate in level to a low level system but the Outlaw boss enemy spawned by the quest will be much higher level almost every time. I'm sure some things are strictly random or strictly tied to a specific condition but if you find a trick that spawns a specific thing reliably it's more likely you found a weird bug than an intended method.
Pro Tip... once you are over level 60, you SHOULD have Starship Design, and Starship Engineering MAXED along with Piloting LVL 4... and really should not be stealing ships......you should have enough cash to MAKE a copy of anything you CANNOT buy, from online references.... but NO premade ship is BETTER than what YOU can make by that point with those skills and that level... making everything unlocked. 1000hrs in the game, and I still see people stealing ships, on the basis of getting 'the best ships'..... and often these are people who have accounts over level 50. Unless you are ultra lazy, or just do not get or massively dislike ship building... always build at that point, nothing you can steal, or buy, will come close.
Its always better to build your own ship 100% These videos we are just looking at the base ships of the game. I think its always important that people should play a single player game how ever they would like to which might include some players that don't get into the base building, which is a shame as its one of the best parts. God could you imagine! Id be playing starrfield non stop for ever soon enough. Going to be epic. But most likely news on expansion. I assume they will release the kit after :( I was thinking it was coming early this year. Thats what they said originally.
@@SiNKiLLeR_ No, not at all but in the early days I confiscated 6 vessels in a row on a already pretty full inventory. Back in jemison I had my 7 registered ships plus the 6 unregistered. 3 over the 10 ships limit. And by that time I couldn’t use the any of my ships. Had to sell all new ships and it went back to normal. But only happened once. Was happy problems started at a spaceport and not on a moon far out.
At both NG+1 and 2 the SysDef or UC Chimera 3 was very strange behavior for me when in orbit and jumping. Any other ship I had I could jump to any system without a problem. Anytime I made the Chimera 3 my home ship, did not matter where I was and the Reactor was upgraded to 40, but most longer routes would be red. Example from Porrima to Masada I would have to do 2 jumps and if I went to Huygens it would be 4 or 5. So I would clear the paths to various solar systems for that gaming session. Now I would use another ship such as the Claymore 3. If I went back to the Chimera 3 again as home ship such as from the Red Mile plotting a route again to Masada would be mostly red. Out of the 8 Class C ships I have this is the only one with this behavior. Too bad because I really like the looks of the Chimera 3 but just got so tired of doing 3 or more jumps to get some where.
You might need to add another fuel tank to the Chimera to increase the jump range, if that doesn't fix the issue let me know. Only has a stock fuel tank of 200 which is one of the lowest for a mk 3 in the game.
@@SiNKiLLeR_ Thanks. I did add them and it worked. Now it is an invisible ship. Got bugged out doing the Crimson Fleet quest after I grabbed the ComSpike the ship was replaced and the Chimera is now invisible.
Mate I get Vista IIIs all the rime. I find they're easy to get early game but with a high level character around the higher level systems. I think i have got some on very low level planets too though. The one I am having a problem with is the Autobann III. I havent been about to get it in my last 5 or 6 playthoughs. I think I got oit on my first full game. I have dome a few more full games and quick runs in NG+ but no Autobann III to steal.
All I could suggest is to try play at different times to what you normally play. I have the same issue with Vista ships. Not really in my spawn spools but have find it at odd times.
Just found a Derelict Renegade in Hawking on my NG+10, on a computer console it gave me the option to repair the full ship I have the Piloting skill lvl 4 and Starship Engineerering lvl 1 then just needs to kill the alliens and the turrets (the turrets weren't working but still count as an enemy)
I found that ship. I blew it up because it wouldn't let me steal it.. didn't realize turrets count as crew even tho I hacked them. Makes sense tho. I could fly it but I couldn't land or grav jump
I've had no luck getting a Vista to land on that one planet whenever I try it's always a cutlass with bounty hunters in mine I did see a autobahn once and a revelation 2 but no vista's yet and sometimes nothing happens even when I leave and go back
Ive had the same problem before. It took me ages to get a vista on the ground. I had a better chance finding it in space but you will find one it just takes a long time if its not in your spawn pool. Remeber a vista 2 is pretty damm good so if you see one grab that and dw about vista 3.
@SiNKiLLeR_ yes I've been trying to do like in the video so far I've only managed to get the revelation II so far I've been trying to go back and forth in hopes for the Vista but so far like last night I spent almost 2 hours I saw one autobahn 1 and then rest the time it was bounty hunters im starting to think about removing that wanted trait cause for over an hour it was the cutlass and bounty hunter's today the game was bugging out for me had the docking glitch at the clinic station and whenever I tried to do a hardsave it would lock up on me
Awesome video been trying to find good ships found in my current playthrough was a falcata which was pretty good for and A ship gonna take awhile to get the ship design level 4.
Your the Falstaff is surprisingly good. You can cheese to lvl 4 pilot design really quickly. Just need to attach all the cheep stuff then save n exit the ship builder. Then you go back in and remove it and from memory you can that a few times in repeat. That you or you need to do it on different ships. Good luck
@SiNKiLLeR_ yeah I actually like it I get into alot of ship battles since I have the wanted trait and yeah I literally just completed level 2 using 4 ships for the cheap parts than removing them the only ships I got early aside from star eagle and mantis was the falcata and a banshee so far but that was all before seeing this video and the falcata had like 5 weapons between legendary and and very rare im assuming the purple ones are very rare also just starting out too was actually hitting higher level planets to level up hit 30 yesterday.
What I have been working on is getting the best ship LEGALLY (meaning NO piracy... other than to get your money but I want to use this ship to level ship control so I HAVE to buy it/ receive it... yes I COULD just mod my Frontier for pennies but I want it BIG). I'd found the Hopetech Silent Runner at level 9 (possibly before as well) so my target is that! In this game I got the Silent Runner at 22 and a Valentine Voyager 3 at 25! OFC I'm 45 now and JUST opened the last crew command so I can FINALLY use my Voyager lol but... Edit: Only time I'd gotten Vistas (and the Autobahn I just got) was in the smuggler scenerio. I talk to the captain, leave the planet, and they abandon the ship... no idea if that's a bug or what but. I only get the first iteration though... but maybe because I was under level 30. Or maybe cuz I don't hang out in lvl75 areas much. LOL! You were using the Silent Runner in the Wight II part heheh! OFC you said it was too weak, and yeah it is, not armed very well OR has many gun placements either, it's a VERY basic cargo hauler. I add deimos wings and stroud eklund shrouds on the bottom (or maybe it's Nova? the ONLY item that can go underneath a ship and has gun mounts :/ other than wings ofc... and some bays... but in most cases your looking for a stroud shroud.)

Is the only option to purchase one or what else can be down? Could you get the Silent Runner peacefully ? I really like the Silent Runner runner design and name though. I'll prob cover it sometime as its a cools ship :)
@@SiNKiLLeR_ yeah, I'd make my own ship but it takes forever to get a reactor larger than 20. I'm not sure if many RUclipsrs remember how difficult it can be to start fresh though... I mean one answer is just to power level 30 or 60 levels at your outpost and I can't argue with that. It's just... There really is something (I find at least) in playing a game how the devs intended. I'm not sure they intended people to make millions of adaptive frames or glitch through floors.
Mate sometimes when you get no message to sit in the seat of a ship you can leave it. Fly to another planet then return and y0ou should be able to take it home.
@@SiNKiLLeR_ I tried grenades against a crew that hadn't gone hostile yet. Managed to take over the Valentine using grenades and I got no bounty. Gonna try to repeat it.
@@SiNKiLLeR_ the lowest engine is dominant for speed and more, for example go into ship building and delete the weaker engine and you'll see. Amongst other things certain stats effect more important stats class C equipment is for freighters, while class A is for speed and light weight builds. Not enough space to elaborate but many good in depth sources on RUclips.
@@SiNKiLLeR_ as a suggestion, no grief, if you can just update your videos if you learn new stuff. For instance post about all the glitches you find in new BETA or ways to get your comrades to let you do their side quests. Side quests are huge because everyone has played as all the variants you can be by now.

Any ship you try to board that requires a digipic you don’t have to kill the crew outside, you can just unlock it and go to the cockpit and fly off.
100% some of this are from earlier on.

I love the ecliptic claymore. It's my go-to ship to steal then modify a bit into my home ship.

Yo all freestar are stealable. There is a bit of a trick to it which is covered in some of the other ships listed.

Vista 1 and 2 will be much earlier and the Vista is almost just as good. If you ever find a Vista just grab that.
I couldn’t attack the valentine so I just bought the voyager 3 and put shielded cargo on it.

all of the crimson fleet ships are named after ghosts, a wight is a type of ghost, sometimes a zombie.

My favorite is the dragonfire as far as looks.
I make my own ships though, as you can make them way more powerful then any premade ship.
dragonfire is pretty amazing and unique. Yer building your own is really the best and funnest option.

Nice one! Yer the turrents always need to b destroyed they count as crew.
I found that ship. I blew it up because it wouldn't let me steal it.. didn't realize turrets count as crew even tho I hacked them. Makes sense tho. I could fly it but I couldn't land or grav jump

I've had no luck getting a Vista to land on that one planet whenever I try it's always a cutlass with bounty hunters in mine I did see a autobahn once and a revelation 2 but no vista's yet and sometimes nothing happens even when I leave and go back
Ive had the same problem before. It took me ages to get a vista on the ground. I had a better chance finding it in space but you will find one it just takes a long time if its not in your spawn pool. Remeber a vista 2 is pretty damm good so if you see one grab that and dw about vista 3.
@SiNKiLLeR_ yes I've been trying to do like in the video so far I've only managed to get the revelation II so far I've been trying to go back and forth in hopes for the Vista but so far like last night I spent almost 2 hours I saw one autobahn 1 and then rest the time it was bounty hunters im starting to think about removing that wanted trait cause for over an hour it was the cutlass and bounty hunter's today the game was bugging out for me had the docking glitch at the clinic station and whenever I tried to do a hardsave it would lock up on me
Awesome video been trying to find good ships found in my current playthrough was a falcata which was pretty good for and A ship gonna take awhile to get the ship design level 4.
Your the Falstaff is surprisingly good. You can cheese to lvl 4 pilot design really quickly. Just need to attach all the cheep stuff then save n exit the ship builder. Then you go back in and remove it and from memory you can that a few times in repeat. That you or you need to do it on different ships. Good luck
@SiNKiLLeR_ yeah I actually like it I get into alot of ship battles since I have the wanted trait and yeah I literally just completed level 2 using 4 ships for the cheap parts than removing them the only ships I got early aside from star eagle and mantis was the falcata and a banshee so far but that was all before seeing this video and the falcata had like 5 weapons between legendary and and very rare im assuming the purple ones are very rare also just starting out too was actually hitting higher level planets to level up hit 30 yesterday.
What I have been working on is getting the best ship LEGALLY (meaning NO piracy... other than to get your money but I want to use this ship to level ship control so I HAVE to buy it/ receive it... yes I COULD just mod my Frontier for pennies but I want it BIG). I'd found the Hopetech Silent Runner at level 9 (possibly before as well) so my target is that!
In this game I got the Silent Runner at 22 and a Valentine Voyager 3 at 25! OFC I'm 45 now and JUST opened the last crew command so I can FINALLY use my Voyager lol but...
Edit: Only time I'd gotten Vistas (and the Autobahn I just got) was in the smuggler scenerio. I talk to the captain, leave the planet, and they abandon the ship... no idea if that's a bug or what but. I only get the first iteration though... but maybe because I was under level 30. Or maybe cuz I don't hang out in lvl75 areas much.
LOL! You were using the Silent Runner in the Wight II part heheh! OFC you said it was too weak, and yeah it is, not armed very well OR has many gun placements either, it's a VERY basic cargo hauler. I add deimos wings and stroud eklund shrouds on the bottom (or maybe it's Nova? the ONLY item that can go underneath a ship and has gun mounts :/ other than wings ofc... and some bays... but in most cases your looking for a stroud shroud.)

@@SiNKiLLeR_ yeah, I'd make my own ship but it takes forever to get a reactor larger than 20. I'm not sure if many RUclipsrs remember how difficult it can be to start fresh though... I mean one answer is just to power level 30 or 60 levels at your outpost and I can't argue with that. It's just... There really is something (I find at least) in playing a game how the devs intended. I'm not sure they intended people to make millions of adaptive frames or glitch through floors.

Mate sometimes when you get no message to sit in the seat of a ship you can leave it. Fly to another planet then return and y0ou should be able to take it home.

@@SiNKiLLeR_ I tried grenades against a crew that hadn't gone hostile yet. Managed to take over the Valentine using grenades and I got no bounty. Gonna try to repeat it.

@@SiNKiLLeR_ the lowest engine is dominant for speed and more, for example go into ship building and delete the weaker engine and you'll see. Amongst other things certain stats effect more important stats class C equipment is for freighters, while class A is for speed and light weight builds. Not enough space to elaborate but many good in depth sources on RUclips.

For instance post about all the glitches you find in new BETA or ways to get your comrades to let you do their side quests. Side quests are huge because everyone has played as all the variants you can be by now.
