Jackson is a heck of an attorney. The amount of work and hours he put into this trial are phenomenal! I don't always like his attitude but I admire the man's tenacity. And he controlled his anger and frustration much better than most people could. For a person whose life is on the line, Karen Read held her composure remarkable well. Throughout all the trial so far, her face has pretty much remained expressionless.
For a bunch of law enforcement employees, they sure have no issue drinking and driving.

She does it every time a witness is caught in lies. Her brother represented Colin Albert’s Dad Chris in a fatal hit and run years ago. Judge Bev refused to recuse and sought to stay on and be assigned this case. It will end her awful career .

If Karen struck John while backing up and he was walking away, wouldn’t he have landed face down more toward the mailbox? It seems that if he was struck, it could have been by someone pulling up to the house and hit him while he was walking toward the driveway facing forward. This would cause him to land on his back toward the flagpole. But, we’ll never know because the investigation was botched from the start. Measuring where he landed, taking pictures of how his body was lying, would’ve been helpful.

The judge didn't even let Higgins answer to if he threw the sim card in one dumpster and the phone in another dumpster. Using federal technology for personal gain, that's a federal offense. Jackson is an amazing attorney, great job.

Apparently he was cooperating so why not say…” Hey Brian, would you mind if we had a look around” ?

It's disgusting. I worked in child protection for my local county, and they would call us out on a Facebook post that seemed questionable to our administrators. We were to represent the agency and our jobs at all times and to be respectable at all times. Even when we were on our own time. Which makes sense, we were setting the example.

This judge literally just agreed with the "witness" and stepped in to rescue him when he wasn't sure if saying It doesn't take that long to drink a beer does it was a question or not. Obviously it was a question at 3:59. No wonder they asked her to recuse herself. We'll never know how the defense opened the door to harassment either just like we'll never know how that wasn't an obvious question.

Well they also asked her to recuse herself because her lawyer brother represented the homeowners brother (Chris Albert) in a hit and run case in the 90s where he killed someone (vehicular manslaughter) and only served 6 months… but she didn’t, she kept her hand in the cookie jar
It’s a non sense question - some people it takes an hour, some they slam it. I’d have no clue how long it takes to drink a beer and it seems pretty immaterial if you actually had anything to support your claim.

I'm a little late to this case and not knowing much about this case I will admit I went into assuming Karen Read was guilty. I am ashamed to admit there was something about the look of her I did not like. I am absolutely shocked what I have seen here. So many of these witnesses are so sketchy, remembering everything perfect for the prosecution and absolute amnesia for the defense. I've always backed the blue but this circus is really concerning.

So far:
-Most witnesses drunk.
-More than 3 witnesses ‘destroyed’ their phones shortly after the incident.
-More than 3 witnesses bum dialed each other in the next 24h.
Weird missing surveillance in Sally port when Higgins there. Suspicious. Reasonable doubt. I hope the jury listening very carefully. Reasonable doubt
If the sally port video is indeed missing, she will not be convicted. It’s hard to believe they can’t produce the video! After listening to Higgins, I don’t see how anyone wouldn’t have reasonable doubt.

The judge couldn’t seem any more uninterested in this case if her life depended on it. She sustains everything but the jury heard what Jackson needed them too.
EDIT: For those who are saying the jury will not like Jackson, you couldn't be any more wrong. Juan Martinez who put Jodi Arias behind bars had a way more aggressive approach than Jackson and when the trial was over the jury said in interviews they all loved J.Martinez style of prosecution. Their kind of style have an impact on the jury unlike Lally's.
Her tone and sighs, she seems so irritated by being there, it seems so rude. But I’m from the south, maybe that’s normal up north, a lot of the witnesses have seemed the same, cold, not caring.

After a long day and night, this guy, Higgins, goes into the police station on his day off and claims that he didn’t talk to anyone about the case. Are you kidding me?!!! That was his sole purpose for being there. What else was he there for? He wasn’t working. He had a very long day and a night of many drinks.
This case is baffling. I originally thought Karen to be guilty. But lie after lie on the witness stand by almost every witness has changed my mind. Higgins is clearly lying here.
And if it turns out the surveillance tape of the sally port has indeed gone missing, I will then have reasonable doubt. I’m not saying Karen didn’t do it, but dozens of lies so far is just too much for me or a juror to say “yes, let’s send this person to prison for decades.”

Seems like whomever coughs (be careful) & clears their throat (pat on back to continue with the approved-responses) does so at the most opportune & heated times where the witnesses may crumble under pressure and slip up - thinking no one would notice. This has been a daily occurrence since trial began. Has no court official been paying attention?! How has no one picked up on these “signals”?!?! As an observant person I’m seeing the pattern.
