Hopefully this channel realizes we're mostly a very mature audience. The babyish talk, please nooooooo
If he was an only child before the two week old newborn, he had enjoyed 13 years of getting his parent's total attention. He may have seen the arrival of the baby as a betrayal by his mother.
My thoughts exactly 💯
Attention was now diverted to his little sister. Interestingly enough, he didn't hurt his sister.
I think exact the same
Exactly. A narcissistic, entitled psychopath.
That is a very possible theory
No. He's a gamer. She probably told him to stop gaming and he raged about it. Gamer rage is real.
omg seriously knock it off with the mental health bull adhd and autism doesnt make you unalive someone.
I've heard autistic kids say the most violent things with no emotion. Many! There must be a crossover with schizophrenia.
@@ferociousgumby i already know about that case.
Exactly. And my brother actually has autism. This is extremely offensive.
@@HazelnutPretzelPeople want to know why, I get that, but ADHD and ASD have nothing to do with this. You're right that the mental health excuse is crap. A mental health diagnosis is only for treatment, not to be an excuse for behavior.
@@ferociousgumby that was a case of Munchhausen by proxy now known as Factitious Disorder Imposed on another or FDIA. Has nothing to do with ADHD or autism.

What's an attorney? At 13 years old, he's clearly mentally challenged
??
I wish you would warn us in the thumbnail that this is not really a law and crime story.
Yes! There’s another channel they put on here. Crime and consequences I think it’s called. I hate their banter. I want a serious video on the case.
@@roser6963 I agree with you 💯
As much as i love Annie, I'm subbed to her channel already, so have seen majority of these cases. It's like recycling old content. Honestly not being assy, or a misery. But it would be nice for the Law & Crime crew to put their spin/opinion/content on a true crime story. It should also say in title it's a collab & an Annie upload from a prior date.
Right ! I was thinking that too. This happened to me a few times and I’m like uhhh.. I mean I love Annie. I watch her channel all the time so if I wanted to watch her I’d go to her channel lol
@cryssy1220 Exactly, I agree with you 💯 I come to Law and Crime because I want to see/hear Law and Crime facts. 🤔
The way this case is being reported is very cringe. “Hey true crime bestie”. Sorry that is very inappropriate language for this horrific event.
agreed, it's inappropriate for the subject matter period.

I don’t understand what law&crime network was thinking hiring this really uplifting person as the commentator on such a grim and serious topic. Very incongruent.
I agree 💯
Did she genuinely just go "hey true crime besties".. People have died, what's wrong with you?
That's how she is. I used to listen to her but she rubs me the wrong way. The way that she talks about cases is in an extremely brash way. Plus she has her own dirt on which she has done with other cases.
that's how she is too her subs. Law and Crime are showing all Annies previously uploaded content. So she's not speaking to Law & Crime subs/viewers, she's acknowledging her own channel. I'm all for helping other channels. But really L&C should say in title this content is off Annie's personal channel, and she's NOT reporting for L & C, because she's not for everyone, and law & crime viewers should know before they click on video, it's recycled content
Channels like this are for entertainment purposes
Your so sensitive u don't like it don't watch the video
Im not sure why they are having him sign legal documents and interrogatingbhim at 13 years old, add to the fact hes clearly has a mental issue. Why did they not appoint him a lawyer or call his stepdad? Seems like a slippery slope
Absolutely! All parties entering into a binding contract must have the legal capacity to do so! All parties must of legal age (18 and over in Florida) and have the mental competence to understand the terms and implications of the contract. Contracts involving minors or individuals who lack the mental capacity to understand them may be deemed void or voidable.
Is this not the case when a minor is accused of, and/or admitting to committing a crime?
They would not call his stepfather, steps have zero legal standing. They'd have called his father.
That you would think a mere step has legal priority over a child's actual father is just bizarre.
The only person that could be with him...but sadly he just killed her...

Murder aside.. anyone concerned that there is a 13 yr old boy being interviewed by police without an adult and allowed to sign away his right to a lawyer? And then he asks for a lawyer.... If you don't protect EVERYONEs rights.. you may become the next person whose rights are violated. Just saying.
Well… he did kill the person who would have to give consent. And no talk of a father. Maybe children’s service would have to take custody and consent?
The police was very gentle with him.. they asked him if he wanted a lawyer...

Big fan of this channel, but this womans voice i can't do.
Not gonna lie. The police were out of line questioning him without an adult or attorney. The documents said an "educated decision". He's not educated in this type of decision.
I heard they had moved to that apartment just a week or a couple weeks before, which would explain why he didn't know the address, but it wouldn't excuse that he couldn't read the address.

Apparently this channel loves this craptastic Annie girl.

This boy is so smart and top of his class but cant read the adress?
I know right? Almost as bad as not knowing how to spell address
I’m only 20 minutes into the video and I am surprised by the immaturity of the commentator. The voice aside, her reaction is annoyingly surface level - so much that I had to verify the RUclips channel. So far, this sounds like a teenage GRWM storytime.
13 years old and they didn't have his father present during questioning???
I’m wondering if the boy showed any warning signs. My guess is yes 😢
Yea this why u get your child on meds or intenese therapy if they are acting realky weird
Like when ppl say this person unalived themselves is so cringe
He is 15 with obvious mental issues he can’t consent, he does not even know his address. The Cops had no right to talk to him. He is a juvenile and needed a parent or lawyer available. As bad as it this is, the Cops blew it and put his confession & the entire case at jeopardy. Wow who trained this guy or police department. The Leading questions was unacceptable, the officer needs more training. I support Cops, but this was the wrong way to handle a juvenile.

Why does Annie Elise look so different?
She had surgery. Jaw or something.
Not for beauty reasons. 😊
She mentioned in a previous video that she had surgery on her jaw

Said it before and I'll say it again...Kids dont wake up one day wanting to unalive their parents.
you're just wrong lol. there are many cases where kids have done exactly that. and this kid is one of them. a dangerously antisocial child.
@@Van-hb2lknope
Annie Elise is a very intelligent, attractive, and talented reporter. That being said, I am going to echo the other comments: her tone does not match the seriousness of the crimes she is reporting. I don't mind her saying true crime besties, as long as her tone is serious and respects the gravity of the crimes when reporting on the crimes. And I'm sure this is not the intention, but she comes across as glib and unconcerned with the crimes, and more concerned about being relatable to the audience. That is a great concern to have for literally almost any other type of reporting. But it is inappropriate for true crime. Please, Law and Crime, either have her change her tone during the actual reporting, or find a better fit for this journalist. Again, no offense intended.
He did not know his address thats why he had to get mail to determine his address. He is clearly delayed and has no remorse for what he did to his mother.

Why are we ignoring the fact that his mother told him not to run??
He was not capable of waiving his rights. "What's an attorney?"
Did you watch this?? When he asked for a lawyer, the questions stopped. Stop defending this psychopath. He murdered his mother.
But he was capable of murdering his own mother ffs..
Narrator has a severe case of vocal fry. Can’t listen.
In this day and age it is very possible that a 13 year old cannot read.
Why wasn't an adult with him while signing papers he still a minor
YT’s censorship is out of control.
He seems being on the spectrum ASD or ADHD. He is impulsive, poor self regulation, doesn’t understand the severity of his actions, I wouldn’t have proceeded this interrogation without an attorney. I don’t think he is competent to face the charges. That doesn’t make him “innocent” but he’s definitely incompetent to stand trial. Needs restoration and treatment. So sad for the mom and the baby.
Why is law&crime posting Annie’s videos? Is she working for/with them now? ❤️Annie!! She’s awesome!!
That was not the metal music or "devil" hand sign, that was the Hawaiian hand sign.
From the word he used while killing her.. That was extreme reaching about his mom, I would say borderline unacceptable to blame it on something like that, or even bring that up. It is much more of a possibility that since he was autistic, that he had body dysmorphia, which happens a lot. So his struggle was probably internal, and he was upset about losing attention with the new kid coming into the situation. He was a spoiled rotten brat, and that is about all.
Why the beginning sound like a prono😅
Wow. Florida family values..
15:10 the scream made me laugh. This was a weird 911 phone call!
This kid is crazy and the lady is telling him not to open the door? It’s cringe to watch that’s how accidents happen when someone makes it more crazy by saying the wrong thing like don’t answer the door for who you sent to the scene
Disconnect is a trauma response. He probably got mad and couldnt control his impulses (or temprarily posessed-spiritual theory i have on a lot of these cases), and then saw what he did and to FEEL LESS, as a coping mechanism, his mind forced him to think about everything less important.
