Well technicly neither is 50 or 60 fps, it's just 25 and 30 and output goes at 50 in pal and 60 in ntsc. Pal version wouldnt be bad if games would use higher resolution that pal has but no game ever used it they were always done incredibly lazily for pal

Pedantic, but FF7 was actually running 25FPS (PAL)/30FPS (NTSC). Notice how the frame counter has two numbers? The first is the internal FPS, that being the FPS of the game itself, and the second being the external FPS, which is the emulator's.

It really is kind of amazing how much of an epic fail the PlayStation Classic is. Sony had no excuse; Nintendo already put out a "Classic" system months before them, to mostly good reviews---they effectively wrote the book on how to produce a good retro console. All Sony had to do was copy their homework...and they still failed. Literally no R&D was required to make a good product and even _that_ was too hard. How is that possible?
I bought the ps classic and immediatly regret it, i downloaded both sega genesis and ps 1 emulator,connected my pc to hdmi on tv, and im using the ps classic controllers to play on my pc only, not only that i can download what ever game i want
This thing runs in PCSX, even with the price drop, buying that usb adapter plus the console is pretty expensive when pcsx is a free program that you can install on any computer, laptop or tablet with decent specs
The only useful thing in the Switch hacking community currently is the ability to play pirated games. Emulation is complex and lacking somewhat. It'll get better I'm sure, but nothing to boast about right now alas

You are correct - the game selection is not the greatest. The only real way to remedy this is by homebrew (BleemSync). I think the Nintendos did a much better job capturing games that defined the system much more than the PS Classic has, but both can be modded post-purchase. You make it seem as if on the Nintendo classics these display options can be customized individually from the factory, which isn't the case. You either can choose 4:3, 4:3 w/ Scan-lines or a pixel perfect image. You can only use one at a time. Also, there are no border options on the Nintendo systems. While customization is great, both the PS Classic and the Nintendo twins both leave something to be desired. Not ALL games are using PAL ports. While a good amount of them do (and really shouldn't), that is making the situation sound much worse than it is (whether you misspoke or not). This also wont affect image quality, just the speed of the game. Not sure what you were trying to get at there. The controllers not being wireless is a preference thing. Yes, it would've been nice, but if they already were going to charge $100 for this system they would've asked for more if it did come with wireless controllers. PLEASE be more direct and obvious about the real possibility of bricking your system if you mess with too much. You briefly touched on it at 5:26. The video is mostly done, and you've already shown how to get into the menu without any prior warnings about how this can mess stuff up. Come on, Kevin. I mean this in the most constructive way but this video was very hard to watch.

I have NO idea why they even went with PAL games when their console has HDMI as it removes all the problems that 480i caused, the only advantage 576i even had was better colour depth and slightly less fuzzy text which was only an issue because the signal was interlaced, the point is Interlaced was a terrible standard and we are all better off now that it's dead.

GauBan you can update the orange firmware 1.18 to the ps stick firmware 1.21 allowing you to use with the PSC.
