I've noticed that people seem to like the antagonists that are more like rivals than actual villains in this series. Examples of this being Shishido, Ryuji, Kuze, etc.
Shishido kinda reminds me of Jin from Samurai Champloo. Here me out, Jin and that samurai he fought (name escapes me) are both extremely skilled swordsman basically born too late in the world for their skills to be used at their peak, they’re a dying, almost complete dead breed of man that the world no longer needs. Yakuza 0 and Gaiden are 11/10 tho
When I compare all of the final bosses in this series, this one ranks surprisingly high for a "side game" (what a load of shit lmao.) If I'm trying not to weigh gameplay too much over story or vice versa, I'd probably say this is the third best final boss in the franchise. Number 1 will always go to the final boss of Judgment, that fight is fucking PEAK in story and is a great and challenging fight in gameplay, only losing out to one other boss in that regard. That boss, being Aizawa, gets second place because while I would say from a purely gameplay perspective it's a slightly better fight than The Mole, Aizawa falls a bit flat story wise. In third is where I'd put Shishido now, who steals the spot just barely from Shibusawa.
W ranking.. here mine 1- nishiki: I just love how you spend yakuza 0 with him, and the flashbacks during the fight in kiwami 2- Shishido 3- Aizawa: like you said is amazing gameplaywise but I feel like he disappeared during the 90% of the game, I wished he was more active during the main story
Kiryu ended up beating him by himself, so Shishido would get absolutely clobbered by Majima and Saejima in an actual fight ( Saejima is equal with Kiryu, and Majima is only weaker than Kiryu by an extremely small margin)
couldn't hear this theme over the fact i had to heal after every hit, since i had bloody binding, talisman, ring and gruesome chainmail, i was also on hard mode
Aisawa is better because he set higher standard. He was the new level for series' spectacle and later it was topped by Judgment games. So Shishido might look cool but there's barely anything new in him or his boss fight.
Ichiban: “great job guys! Let’s go get dinner. Arakawa, you coming?”

I was too busy with the fight that i didn't even notice this OST🔥🔥🔥
Gaiden is probably Top 2 of all the Yakuza games in my opinion. the peak ideals and the peak final fight in the OMI HQ.
Yakuza 0 is the only thing beats Gaiden by a 0.1 in my list. but to be fair, all Yakuza games from 0 to Infinite Wealth including Judgment and Lost Judgment are 10/10.
W ranking.. here mine
1- nishiki: I just love how you spend yakuza 0 with him, and the flashbacks during the fight in kiwami
2- Shishido
3- Aizawa: like you said is amazing gameplaywise but I feel like he disappeared during the 90% of the game, I wished he was more active during the main story
as much as i love kuroiwa, the final fight itself is a bit underwhelming.
imo kuwana and shishido both have better climaxes.
Shishido was Aizawa if Kuze was his dad and I'm here for it.
I really wish you hadn't put his face in the thumbnail. Best final boss in the series though, easily
i saw this thumbnail when i didnt complete the game but atleast i was high and didnt recognise shishido
I like this Battle Music Video.
Shishido was crazy, this fucking mutant of a man was out here swinging kiryu on a string like hes some kind of toy
Actual alien specimen
This is honestly the hardest final boss in the series imo
Although he's the only one I've fought in hard mose so i could be wrong
Final boss in Ishin is way harder. But, to be honest, everything in Ishin is harder.
@@lightguard1 never beat ishin so i never even attempted that one
0:22 Good thumbnail
a epic moment
This boss fight is way cooler than any final boss besides Kiwami, Kiwami 2 and Yakuza 3
I think this fight is better than Ryuji
I died three times to this dude, it was so fun.
This might be the shortest Yakuza/Like a Dragon game but it's one of the best in the franchise.
He whooped majima and saejima what a man
Nahh, more like push them back, Majima and Saejima would destroy him in All Out Battle
Kiryu ended up beating him by himself, so Shishido would get absolutely clobbered by Majima and Saejima in an actual fight ( Saejima is equal with Kiryu, and Majima is only weaker than Kiryu by an extremely small margin)
This is the Yakuza's last hurrah.
3:11 Kazuma Kiryu is Shoplifting
1:00 kino
When a side game is better than most titles released in 2023:
Testosterone booster
Even though this game is branded as "another story", SEGA managed to make it whole heartedly.
But sega didn't make it,it was rgg that made it
he looks like kuze ngl
Aizawa but actually good!
couldn't hear this theme over the fact i had to heal after every hit, since i had bloody binding, talisman, ring and gruesome chainmail, i was also on hard mode
You're insane
This is ngga looked at 4 legends and said "y'all vs me no damage NG+7 and i'm still winning"
Is that Shisa on Shishido's back? Or is this a different beast?
Lion
Shishi(Lion)
2:32-3:00 I can’t unhear the Chicago bulls theme

Doom Slayer approves.
No fleeting dream?

❤
The real ending to Yakuza.
Why is every yakuza song getting deleted wth
fake copyright strikes apparently
God damnit
do in 4k
Tch. A shame. Thought you'd deliver on the opening intro part before the boss battle.
who says tch on text?
@@rashid591Blud thinks he is Majima 💀💀💀
@@MasatakaEbina who thinks he is majima? im a dumbass so i dont understand
@@rashid591 The guy who said tch
why does he look like jeff the killer?
Aizawa was better
Damn dude Aizawa was shittiest boss ever
Aisawa is better because he set higher standard. He was the new level for series' spectacle and later it was topped by Judgment games. So Shishido might look cool but there's barely anything new in him or his boss fight.
