Had a 4 door 1 2 manual from 2006 to 2017. A fantastic car when it first came out and was reliable and refined for a small car. Went on to buy a swift 1.0 turbo since newer nissans lost their previous reputation for reliability pretty badly. Swift has a similarly fantastic driving position provided by its upright windscreen which gives much better visibility.

Thank you for commenting on this video and like you have said it is a great car. I still drive it to this day and hasn't let me down other than the slow start that you tend to get of a morning, which I have a feeling may be down to a glow plug issue, but with a few turns of the key to the glow plug position it does fire up and drive off ok with no smoke or anything. The 5 door version may of been a more practical choice for me but it does the job with no dramas.
I can understand your concern with the newer Nissans especially as they are more intertwined with Renault and I don't blame you for getting the Swift as it is a great car and in my opinion looks leagues better then the newer Micras, though I must admit that the newest version does look way better then the previous version it replaced.
      Cheers

@@wetryanythingchannel after getting used to this car's visibility, you will feel claustrophobic in most new cars with those nasty slanting windscreens. I am not sure about the diesels, but the petrol 1.2 was super refined even by current standards but it's Renault built manual transmission had long gates. Although it was reliable , the transmission in the k10 micra was way better.

A family member of mine also had a micra but got a Honda Accord in 2009. It lasted till 2021 which then was upgraded to a Nissan Qashqai

6:40 thats autopilot, pressing it you can remove your feet from the gas and it continues with the km/h that are been set when you press the button.

How to lock the door from inside..?? If Power lock switch near hand break is on no one can open from outside but its getting open from inside..

The doors can always be opened from inside for safety and convenience, even when locked.
Also in case of a crash the car will automagically unlock all doors.
The only exception is if you enable the child lock feature found on the rear doors on 5 door models.

Hi there, I am a bit confused are you referring to the ones on the steering wheel or the actual indicator/lighting controls on the left hand side of the steering wheel and the wash/wiper stalk on the right?
