Is the early church very similar to John MacArthur’s church? I haven’t been there. As I understand here in this video, he is arguing against the movement more of their tradition and praxis side and a little of theology. He doesn’t think they act like church. With the same argument, I am simply wondering if the early church can make the same case for/against John MacArthur’s church. As I have said, I haven’t been to his.
I'm just looking into this movement. Interesting. I was under the impression that church is where 2 or more gather in His Holy name and GOD/YAHUAH/YAHUSHUA through his SON/JESUS/YESHUA/LIVING WORD is the head. Any input would be appreciated. What's interesting is John MacArthur even if I like much of his teaching has been called out for some anti - BIBLICAL teachings as the yrs have gone by. Hmmm Things always making me go hmmmm I'll still keep this statement and concern in mind.
Actually just before watching this video, the Holy Spirit revealed to me, through scripture, that I should no longer listen to, follow, or subscribe to Driscoll, Chandler, Noble, Furtick, and MacDonald and others... The YRR movement is harmful and discredits the true Gospel as fought for by the early reformers: Luther, Calvin, Wycliff, Zwingli, Knox, etc... YRR is unbiblical. There are no messages on repentance and regeneration...
