Excellent Way To Make Wooden Dowels | Easiest Dowel Making Jig

This is one of the easiest way to make wooden dowels of any size. This DIY dowel making jig is simply made by using old scrap blades from 4 inch wooden planer and a piece of hard wood.

The blades should be slightly off parallel from the dowel for smooth clean cut. Similar to how a pencil sharpener cuts a nice clean pencil.

Great idea but!.. why not leave the jigs intact? Safer than cutting the kerf for the blades in such a small piece of wood plus it would be easier/more stable to clamp. I.E. two in one.
