What a great museum! I was sad to see nothing of Barbara Stanwyck's. She did TONS of westerns and loved them so much and that area so much she even had her ashes scattered over Lone Pine when she died. She donated all her personal memorabilia to The University of Wyoming's American Heritage Center though. Because "they were the first to ask."
Wow! What a great museum. They have so many different movies covered in it. I love museums like this. Thank you for bringing us out here. Can't wait to see where we are going tomorrow. I love your road trip vlogs. Safe Travels and Take Care.
Hi Jordan, I love the RKO filming car, a real piece of Hollywood filming history. How nice that they have Clayton Moore's costume, many a happy hour watching those. Great they have some John Wayne items, real history pieces. What fancy boots of Gene's. I never thought there would be any 'Keystone Cop' items still in existence, FABULOUS. Great vlog Jordan.
Wow! What a great museum! They have so much stuff! I was in DC at Arlington National Cemetery watching the ceremonies and walked back to take some photos and I was at the grave of Audie Murphy. 🦁❤️
Your absolutely correct Jorden, that is one awesome museum. Thanks once again for your prolific endeavors and showing these amazing places that I personally would never get to see.
What a treasure trove of wonderful memorabilia from so many great movies and stars. I was in Lone Pine many years ago and at the time had no idea of the history that area played in its use as a setting for some terrific Westerns and also period pieces such as “Gunga Din” and many others. I don’t think the museum existed at the time of my visit. The area boasts the “Alabama Hills” where so many great TV Westerns were filmed. They offer tours of the back country and filming locations which I imagine is very interesting. Also, Mount Whitney is close by. It is the tallest mountain in the contiguous United States.
What a GEM of a museum, how they gathered the collection could be another video, interviewing the museum owners, explaining and telling stories of how they got all the movie relics.
WoW such a diamond of a Museum. My favourite actor(s) in there .... John Wayne (The Duke) and Steve McQueen. My favourite partner .... Trigger. Such a beautiful horse. Enjoyed every minute. I would have enjoyed another hour or two. That was EXCELLENT Jordan, roll up the next one 😃😃🌹👍🌹
You do some of the very best vlogs on the internet! Excellent camera work, just the right amount of narration, and so fun to watch! Thank you once again for a very enjoyable video!
What a great idea to put a museum where so many movies were made and share so much from them. I can think of so many other places they should do that around your parts 😊 Thank You as always Loved it.
This is sooo good as always Jordan the Lion. Love all the memorabilia and so cool to see a costume from Gladiator..one of my all time faves. "Are you not entertained?"
I Love the Lone Pine Museum 💙 I my Grandpa would have been alive he would have loved it. When I was a child I watched all the old black and white Westerns every Saturday with my Grandpa💙 Thank You for the memories💙 Fabulous Vlog Jordan💙
A great museum... exciting Western collection!! Thanks Jordan for creating this travel vlog!! A pleasant view of the past!! This is an awesome vlog! It brought back fun childhood memories of watching cowboy reruns on Saturday mornings: Hopalong Cassidy, Roy Rogers, Annie Oakley, the Lone Ranger, etc. This is a fascinating museum. Thanks for taking us here, Jordan!
Anne Santos it did the same for me. How I loved watching all those shows as I was growing up. Such great memories that Jordan brings back for us. I love what Jordan does and how he does it and he is so knowledgeable about everything he does. I just love how he takes me along to see things from the past and showing me places and things I never knew about or would never have seen without him.
Hi Jean! Yes, I have lots of good memories of those old shows, too. Two others I would watch on Saturdays was “Sky King”, and “Fury.” Jordan always does a fantastic job selecting the vlogs he’ll do and bringing them to life for us. Thanks for your comments!
Hey Jordan, this museum is great! Who would’ve known it was even out there?! I’ll be checking it out soon. That RKO filming truck is simply the coolest. Thank You!

Great one! I grew up with all these guys. Couldn’t miss run tin tin and the Lone Ranger and hop-a-long and all the others. Fabulous fabulous to see all those things from all the shows I couldn’t miss! Thank you so much for taking me along!
This was an awesome vlog! I loved seeing this museum! I had no idea it existed. It has a great mix of old and new. Definitely putting it on my list to see next time I'm in CA!
Great Museum and Vlog. Brings back many memories sitting with my father watching the old westerns .A great Escape appropriately timed..... trying to recover from being on the Dance Card of Hurricane Dorian🤤
Absolutely wonderful! Thanks so much for bringing this wonderful place to us. My parents would have loved to come here, I was raised on most of these old movies. (No Tarantino though,)
Thanks for sharing this. You can also see all the filming locations .they have Them marked off out in the desert behind that place .A road heading up towards Alabama Hills and Mt. Whitney with a great view of owens valley. That could be another video. Thanks jordan..
Love this vlog great movie history as a child my Mom would bring us to the movies every week loved going these movies thanks Jordan for bringing back lovely memories Love to all old Movies fans Marie Dublin Ireland
I'm a HUGE Bogey Fan :) Love that they actually have the car from "High Sierra". That was a sensational movie, as with any movie Humphrey Bogart did! Of course my favorite Bogey film is "Casablanca" and then "The African Queen"..... but to be honest, any Bogart film is a sweet treat for me :) lol. I also love John Wayne's movies too. He was another sensational actor as well. As for the singing cowboys, I used to sit and watch all the old greats with my dad when I was a little girl, great and very fond memories of those times (RIP Dad
WOW! Just visited my childhood....I even had a Dale Evans cowgirl outfit when I was a kid! LOL Thanks Jordan.... one of those great travel videos...Loved it!
Thank you Jordan for visiting places of history unfortunately I can’t travel to the world that I live on you make it possible for me to see it I love are historical people and people the made the way for the future
Hi Jordan: Just a comment on the projectors with the near by drive-in speaker. I was a protectionist back during the 1970s, when we still used film, and illuminated the screen with an actual flame. The projectors you show were common to both indoor and outdoor theatres. The "box" making up the rear portion was where a carbon arc flame burned.
What a great museum, I love seeing movie memorabilia and the cars were beautiful and in pristine condition. Thanks for sharing.. Jordan, you mentioned Robert Downey Jr presenting the Rolling Stones concert, unfortunately I wasn't able to view in the UK, as it was blocked on copyright grounds 🙁 was it good ?
Love this video very much grew up watching all of those show wagon train rifleman gun smoke the wild wild west Robert Conrad played James west love all of those shows still watch reruns thanks
Amazing musem Jordan l love all the details on the cowboy boots wonderful vlog. Are you close to monument valley? I hope to go there one day. I love your dearest so different to Australia great work Jordan
please please could you possibly do a vlog on the late great PETE DUEL, who starred in the tv western series ALIAS SMITH AND JONES. pete sadly committed suicide in his hollywood home on december 31st 1971- he was only 31 years old. quentin tarrantino, leonardo dicaprio and brad pitt all said in recent tv and mag interviews about their film ONCE UPON A TIME...IN HOLLYWOOD that they were all influenced by pete duel, who was bi-polar. pete was a wonderful man, as well as being a great actor, he was an humanitarian, he cared about ecololgy, pollution, injustice in the world, was peace loving, and took in stray animals
see if you can locate some of the film sites used for the movie below zero an older Robert downy junior movie. I am curious about where the desert scenes were filmed just before Downey dies
Wow Clayton Moore's costume is so much more colorful in real life, such a vivid blue - the TV show was in B&W so all we could see was gray
What a great museum! I was sad to see nothing of Barbara Stanwyck's. She did TONS of westerns and loved them so much and that area so much she even had her ashes scattered over Lone Pine when she died. Great stuff from a lot of awesome movies and TV shows.. I could spend an entire day there and still not want to leave!! Great Vlog!!
