My God! Ya need the patience of a saint to deal with the traffic!
I definitely agree it pushes my patience I usually turn the music up but when recording I can’t because of copyright, I appreciate you checking out my video I’m glad you enjoyed it
NPC energy.
Same here in UK mate.Even worse since Covid, must be hard earning a living driving like this most days.
Wow just Wow! Thanks for taking us along and showing the port. I wanted to see how things are when the cruise ships are there. That traffic is beyond nuts.
Your very welcome, I’m glad you enjoyed, thank you for watching
Thank you so much for this video! It truly is impressive to see what you do! I am also amazed at how busy the Port of Miami is with so many vehicles and passengers trying to get in and out. Once again, thank you for this and thanks for the work that you do!
Thank you I appreciate that, yes as a truck driver we encounter many obstacles, including the maze of traffic on the dock, we have to be aware of high tide, low tide so we know If we can fit under the ropes, gangways have low spots we can’t fit under as well, I appreciate you watching, thank you
@@WLeon3350 oh very interesting, I did not know that, good to learn something new! thx
Ive been on many cruises and always taken into consideration the sheer amount of logistics and people like you doing gods work on the frontlines to provide a great holiday for all! Thanks
It’s allot of moving parts to make that quick turnaround, I’m glad you enjoyed, thank you for watching
This was such an awesome video. The traffic to get to the dock is insane. The traffic on the dock and the ports also insane. Thanks for taking us along to see Behind the Scenes of the cruise ships. You help to make our vacations great.
Thank you for watching, I’m glad you enjoyed

Awesome video! You sir have the patience of a saint. I became stressed at several times but I never even heard you breathe deeply. This obviously wasn’t your first rodeo. Great driving. Much respect.
Thank you I appreciate that, no need in getting upset, our day is what we make it and I try to make everyday a great day, takes to much effort getting pissed off and then taking that with me the whole day, I appreciate you watching, thank you
I like driving in NYC and think that’s okay… I’m stressing out watching this lol.
That’s funny, I have been to NYC I would say New York is still worst
What a great video. You my friend are far more patient than i would be. 😊
lol comes with age, it’s not worth it letting others ruin my day, I appreciate the comment I’m glad you enjoyed the video
Whatever they are paying you it is not nearly enough to put up with all that mess. Thank you for making my vacation good.
I agree lol, thank you for watching
Another great video. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you I appreciate it, glad you enjoyed it
More long format content like this, please! Love it, love it!
I always worry the video is to long and try to edit down without taking away from what’s going on, I’m so glad you loved the long video, thank you for watching, it makes me want to continue making great videos
@@WLeon3350 Long videos are better! The only people who disagree are the low attention span youth of today. lol
I enjoy the long videos. For people like me who struggle with agoraphobia, it really makes it feel as though I'm taking a journey. Thank you for taking the time to share this.
I am on edge for you; great video.
Glad you enjoyed, thank you for watching
Wow very cool video! Keep them up!
Thank you for watching
Whoa, working in a port looks so cool!
Very high stress but yes fun as well
such an awesome perspective!
Thank you I’m glad you enjoyed
Just happen to see your channel and thought I would check it out. My husband was a trucker and I have been all over the US. Including Florida Keys. I never realized just how big those cruise ships were! I'm going to check out more of your videos. Really enjoyed this one
Thank you I really appreciate the kind words, I’m getting older I’m very glad for technology which allows me to document my job, it gives myself my kids and grandchildren something to look back on later in life, I know your husband misses the truck lol, thank you for watching please feel free to message me anytime
wow, really cool!!!
Glad you enjoyed
Great video,I worked those docks 30 yrs ago does even look familiar.
Nice, that place is growing really fast, I’m glad I could bring back memories, thank you for watching
Amazing you're able to tolerate the cars that don't know where they are going and the congestion in the area you drive through!
It’s very difficult, wish I could say I get use to it but I don’t, I just try to keep my cool stay happy and not let them ruin my day, thank you for watching
So cool!
I appreciate that, thank you for watching
niceee i just recently purchased my own rig again and want to get back into port work. in south fl
Haul gas stay away from container work, gas pays really good
Greetings from Australia! I've always admired the skills of truck drivers but you sir take it to the next level. Awesome video thanks! By the way, that ship towards the end (MSC Divina) is the one that we are crossing the Atlantic on in April/May so it was great to see a close up of her. Thanks again!!
That’s so kewl, enjoy your cruise I’m glad you enjoyed thank you for watching
This was interesting as a frequent cruiser!
Thank you, I’m so glad you enjoyed
Thank you Mr. Leonard for allowing us to view the chaotic driving patterns large trucks are forced to navigate especially along the dockside road by the ships. I wonder if Miami Dade County Risk Management, the self-insured division for the county has had an opportunity to view this very dangerous driving pattern large trucks are forced to use when making a dockside delivery on turn-around days? Unfortunately its only a matter of time before a serious injury or even a death may occur if this chaos continues. Thanks again!
I completely agree, and now they have the new ship Icon of the seas, that’s 10 thousand more people leaving the ship and 10 thousand more getting on board, Port of Miami have outgrown themselves, hopefully during the summer changes will be made to the traffic situation, thank you for watching I’m glad you enjoyed
Very good
Thank you I’m glad you enjoyed it
I have never seen the behind the scenes before. This was a great perspective. Not sure how you guys deal with all the cars cutting in though ;-). After watching a few truck driving videos I'm extra courteous when driving around trucks. TY for your service to our needs.
Yes the cars are crazy and they cruise ship can’t leave until we finish our job, happens to often the ship leaves late because we are not done, I would rather have the chaotic scene dockside rather deal with the bad driving on the outside, thank you for watching, I’m glad you enjoyed it
Skills 😮
Thank you I appreciate that
Hey man! How are you doing? Please, make more long videos like this, they're awesome. Thanks a lot!! 😃
Will do, I was making 1 today then my battery died so hopefully most of the footage was captured, I’ll post probably Tuesday, thank you for watching
Truly enjoyed this video. How did you know I watch the ships. Thanks for the behind the scene, been curious about the going on between cruises.
I see people all the time taking pictures checking out the dock scene, there’s allot going on people can’t see, I’m glad you enjoyed I appreciate you watching and commenting
you were so close to that green boom lift , omg LOL
I’m so close to them so much, I think the 1 your talking about had the 2 guys in it, they were trying to get me to go on through but the gangway is to low in that spot, I had to keep telling them pull through so I can get under the middle of the gangway without hitting it
I guess this was not the first time you have done this run. You seem quite knowledgeable regarding which lane to be in. Well done.
Been doing it for several years, yes have to be knowledgeable to rules and regulations of many different agencies including coast guard, I started documenting things to have something to look back on 1 day or my kids after I’m gone, thank you for watching I really appreciate it
That's crazy traffic
Yes always every weekend
Interesting video, great patience demonstrated there!
After negotiating the docks, did you pick up or drop iff cargo?
Thank you, I was picking up oil from the engine room
Do you speak portuguese⁉️

No sorry I don’t, I have to use google translate, thank you for subscribing I’m glad you enjoyed, I have some more videos I’m still editing, hopefully I’ll have up this weekend
Hola colega traducir al español, saludos 👍
Hello how are you
I haul fuel in the Midwest. Any idea what fuel those ships take? Is it just dyed diesel?
They get dyed diesel, they also run on bunker fuel which is a very thick tar like oil, they have to burn diesel in U.S. waters but once they get in international they switch to bunker fuel, the brand new ships coming out now run on liquid petroleum (propane) and when they are at the dock they plug up to electricity and shut down the engines, thank you for watching, stay safe
@@WLeon3350 Interesting thanks for replying.
Are you driving an 18 wheeler or a box truck? Great video!
18 wheeler, I typically pull tanker trailers but sometimes pull 53 foot box trailers as well, thank you for watching glad you enjoyed
Wow, definitely not a job for the timid. Obstacles coming at you in all directions you need your head on a swivel. I hope you have a dash-cam running full-time just for the liability of the next forklift that decides to back into you.
Did you offload a pallet at the end there? If so, that was damn fast.
No I’m actually pulling tanker, I was there getting oil or oily water off the ship, load time was about 2 hours, I edited that out, because of the obstacles our road test to get hired is about 1 to 2 hours long, we get guys 30 plus years experience that we do not accept, this job is definitely not the normal, thank you for watching I appreciate it
This really neat. Too bad you couldn't show more of off and on-loading to the ship.
I’m actually working on that, it’s a work in progress, thank you for watching I’m glad you enjoyed it
What a shit show. I only have seen it from my vantage point as a cruiser. Will be back in December for another cruise. Thanks for all you do for us.
It is crazy, thank you I’m glad you enjoyed, enjoy your cruise
Wow stressful 😮
Yes very
Is Traffic always like that down there ?
During cruise season yes
Not a chance in hell I be in that Spider Web
Lol it’s not that bad
👍👍👍👍🇲🇦🇲🇦🇲🇦
Thank you for watching
Part 2 will be available tomorrow
How you gonna get out
It’s definitely tight, just work my way through the maze to get out
I drove on and off for a couple of years I hate every minute of it
It’s definitely not what it used to be
What a chaotic mess.
It definitely is that, thank you for watching
