Driving around in circles. How many years of apprenticeship to learn your way around there?

Started driving when I was 16 37 years ago but definitely Port of Miami is very confusing, they could have designed that so much better, see cars just completely lost and confused, going wrong way in a one way and it changes often, been working the ports over 11 years but sometimes I have a month or more without working a ship then when I do work one I, lost and confused myself, thanks for watching

Lol yes my truck have a sleeper on it so it’s a little longer than our day cabs, I can tell you that u-turn is only inches from hitting something or going in the water in the front of truck and the rear of the trailer, I appreciate you subscribing and following, cruise season will be here soon and I’ll have allot more videos coming, thank you for the comment

The horn was a warning for the big rig and vehicle passing me at full speed not the vehicle going wrong way, the vehicle is clearly impaired so a horn is useless for them

You know what I don’t even remember and the windshield omg it was so messed up I can’t even make out which one it was but I know that ship was going to Birth A in port of Miami I just can’t remember which ship it was that day, I do believe it was the Allure of the seas just not 100% thank you for watching

We get use to it, they are either confused or impaired and that whole service road to that ramp is 1 way so they drove the wrong way a little piece before trying to get on the hwy, thanks for watching

I agree south Florida we deal with so many tourist but that car is local and I saw the phone which is why I knew they were on it and yes tourist use gps allot but that’s not a rental car and it’s a Florida tag, definitely local just distracted which is very common here and everywhere, thank you for watching and commenting have a great 4th of July stay safe

Yes I saw them behind me they could not pass on my left due to congestion so I saw them go to my right and I’m assuming ok they do want the exit which is marked exit only then I saw the car accelerate which is not common on a deceleration lane but it is south Florida so people do strange things then they were cutting in, as a truck driver with many years experience we are very long and we can’t stop easily so we pay attention to every vehicle that’s around us, we watch are they on the phone are they distracted, did the front part of car raise which means strong acceleration, did the front of car go down which means heavy braking, I can’t speak for every driver because many are not experienced but for myself I’m constantly watching every vehicle including trucks, I can’t even explain the mental exhaustion at the end of the day, driving is the easy part, watching everyone trying to figure out what’s going to happen before it happens is the exhausting part of my job

@@WLeon3350 I completely understand you. I do not drive semi, but from time to time I haul some load using relatively small car (read - loaded to the limits) and I can understand what you mean by observing and predicting what others will do. In the case above, I think the driver was very wise of leaving you room. He/she did not jump in front and smashed the brakes, instead (the way I read it) he communicated the need to merge your lane, and then waited for the right moment. You, on the other hand, increased the distance, and let him merge, despite it being an exit. Although it may seem like a very dangerous situation, it was resolved very nicely by two drivers who are aware of their surroundings.

Cement trucks are like tankers trailers the load is constantly moving, I have drove cement trucks I’ll stick to pulling tanker lol, thank God for dashcams, I have had other trucks hit my mirrors then argue but when you point to that dashcam they shut up and come clean they were distracted or whatever, have a good holiday thank you for watching

I’m trying and yes very true, we just took in a 7 year old Tuesday that was pulled from a roach infested home and left by himself for 2 days but he’s awesome and we are glad to have him, I really appreciate you watching and understanding yes videos are a hobby and work and fostering are priority, without work we can’t do anything for these little ones
