I love that you address issues faced every day by every pilot. This can't have been fun to make. We all understand the urge to only ever reveal perfect footage and photos. Such an approach, however, in no way reflects reality. As a landscape and event photographer (humblebrag disclaimer), I feel this pain all the time, as I'm sure many others do on all our shoots! Kudos to you for talking about the elephant in our communal rooms. It's good to know we are not alone, and that there are workaround workflows we can try. Thank you!
Good stuff - I have an original Mavic Mini that I just haven't used enough. Need to get out and fly! The obvious answer to dewl with tourists is to go at an unsociable hour - first thing in the morning itll be much quieter.
I love this area, I grew up just up the road towards Oban and there are so many stunning areas (I was in glen etive last weekend) not an area I would film in during tourist season but some awesome tips in your video
With any tourist-heavy place you're trying to film, it's always challenging. But why get bent out of shape about it, use the people as interest. I think that whole I'm the only one that exists at a tourist-heavy location is SUPER Overrated. I think it's driven by movies; there is no one around, and we try to imitate that with 0 budget. Don't stress just work with what you get cause, at the end of the day, you're still at a nice location. It's really all in your head. Oh NO there are people in the shot now it's ruined. say's NO ONE. :) always great content tho, keep on keepin on!
Appreciate the comment! I guess the context for us is years of filming weddings and couples wanting to have photos/video taken at these kind of locations. Photographers can easily get rid of a photo bomber with a luminous yellow jacket, but we couldn’t on the video side, so trying to remove anyone and anything unwanted from the frame is part of my DNA now!
We’ve actually got a video coming out soon about flying in the rain. After countless wasted trips up north, not to mention the wasted expense, we simply had to start flying in the rain and astonishingly, it didn’t really cause any problems! But don’t take that as a recommendation!

Your videos are filled with very well-presented, practical, and doable advice for aspiring Drone Jockeys. PLEASE CONTINUE to make them.
We appreciate that very much thank you! We are working hard to break away from the product review treadmill and come up with some fresh content.
I’m so happy I discovered your channel.
Very interesting to follow your thoughts and ideas as you take the shots. So practical and instructive. Thank you very much!

Very good video Stewart
Never would have thought of flying backwards to the home point to grab another shot. Brilliant. How are you navigating at that point?
Stewart, I am heading to a tourist area today and will attempt some of what you just showed me. Thanks for all you do.
Good luck!

Need to renew my license and get out there. Great video, beautiful landscape and architecture.
Very very interesting and well explained!
What about a tutorial about the editing of same footages?
Sounds like a plan!
Hello S&A 🙌🏻
Beautiful video! Which drive did you film this with?
You did well blocking out that annoying onlooker at timestamp 0:23
😂
I recognise her from somewhere!

@ haha, for sure. No worries Ai will soon handle this. 🤌🏼
Can we now fly in the rain or misty rain. What's the secret of protecting the drone 😊
