I am not going to be a backseat gamer but here are some things that might be helpful (maybe i kinda am).
1. In my opinion if you want an easy win where not only are you taking less hits and having the most mobility and damage at the same time, i recommend the shield, you can move, hit, and defend all at once with it. Every weapon works great but personally it is only so once you unlock something later on or figure out what boon works with it.
2. I don’t know if you are talking to achilles but i took his advice from hades and even adhered to it at hades 2 to heart, "fear is for the weak" . Dashing through attacks and punishing them for it (not only just avoiding it) and dodge chance is really valuable because you know, you don't have a boon for regeneration.
3. Even if you are at 10 health and the other chamber contains something that heals or even if you really like that one god on the opposite direction. Daedalus hammer is always at the pinnacle of priority to the point that it is better to risk dying than missing it.
4. Try every weapon, it is not skill that makes the weapons in hades work but experience

You should upgrade the go to chiran aspect its the best
this is one of those games where you slowly get more and more powerful and skilled with the combat. eventually that bch ass butterfly boss will be nothing and you'll be smacking his homeboys down while smoking him. getting new weapons and eventually unlocking their different aspects is the real key to victory in this game because chances are, at least 1 of the 24 aspects will make you be like ok wait hold up. this one is *different* 👀
i could never get into hades until i played the everloving shit outta the 2nd one and was like alright now i gotta go beat it. 60 runs in and like a dozen clears and man i'm hooked. now i have trouble deciding which hades i want to play 🤣 the game is crack and i live at a gas station
