Honestly I have never felt happiness as strong as when I actually BEAT Meg the fury for the first time after tons of runs. Like NO other game was that good.
I think my favourites Hades experiences were beating Meg the first time, beating Hades, and then the run where I finally beat Theseus and managed to reach Hades. However, what I remember most distinctly is when I first saw Cerberus. I'd beaten Theseus and now didn't know what to expect, but seeing the dog - my heart sank thinking I had to kill it. Finding out I just fed him was a genuine relief lmao.
For me it was kinda eh. I was happy but it only took me like 4 try’s to beat the final boss, it was no where near as hard as sekiro. I screamed so loud after I beat geinhicro
fun fact: in the lounge there's this "featured houseservant" board, and cerberus can be there, in which case zagreus says "now look who's the certified best boy" also there's literally a boon that increases the chance of a fishing spot appearing, the boon is called "Huge Catch" and you get it from poseidon
It took me a week and a half to beat hades to its entirety (which is beating “hades” 10 times to get your mother to come home) and all I want to do now is experience it for the first time all over again.
Dude i would love it if you put a vid out on the main channel, this game kicks ass especially towards end of the story when you feel how powerful you’ve gotten.
100%ing this game was a journey, I reccomend it to everyone. I loved every single aspect of this masterpiece, it was simple but the plotline is amazing. Now gather nearly 200 nectar and aproximarely 80 bottles of ambrosia, you need to make everyone love you.
Zanny there's the biggest cheese strategy I've found is that you get the shield and find the daedalus hammer upgrade the piercing shot then get ares boons it's literally the ultimate cheese strat
This game is definite must play for anyone that haven't. Its going to be hard at first, especially if you panic dodge often. but once you got the hang of it. It will be a walk in a park.
Virgin Thesus- Refuses to fight on his own. Needs the gods help to win his battles. Needs a shield, the gods and his friend to carry him, loses anyway. Doesn’t have a pet. Chad Zagreus- Fights the vast armies of the Underworld on his own and wins. The gods, his extended family offers there boons and he humbly excepts it. His shield goated with the sauce is optional, all his weapons are viable and fun to use. His pet is goodest bestest boy in all the Underworld, Cerberus.
Still have this one in my installed library definitely worth it has hundreds of hours of gameplay worth if you upgrade all the weapons and go through the pact with each weapon.
I remember on my play through it took to me 46 tries to realize that Aphrodite was naked. I was so pure Edit: I was on a call with my friend during it. I told him and he just absolutely lost it
Hades is a difficult boss but Theseus is the most annoying because depending on his blessing he might actually managed to kill me and make me waste a revival.
hating on thanatos is so funny until you realise he acts like that bc he is in love with the dude and felt betrayed that he'd leave the underworld without telling him thinking he'd lose bro forever
If you press your fish button quick enough, it says Perfect Catch instead of Catch. It's the only way to get the 3rd rarest type of fish in every biome. Doubt that a twitch Andy haven't told you about it though.
I'm here from the latest for honor video, its nice to have a second channel to watch hahaha, to everyone reading this I highly recommend trying Pyre, it has the best music and cast fro any Super giant games for me, well I'm biased since I sincerely love the game, thanks for the video zanny.
The first time I got to Hades I had been stuck in the lava plane, beat the hydra, beat the minotaur and Theseus on my first try, and died to Hades himself, I haven't had time to play the game since then and I was actually shaking when I was fighting Hades, and no, I didn't have any heat on

These types of games you don't really respawn though, you're supposed to make it from beginning to end in one run by getting better and better as you keep trying. And in this case, also making your character stronger. No 2 runs will be exactly the same. Binding of Isaac is another popular game of the same genre, and Risk of Rain.
Yeah its so much fun and i realize how used to some weapons people are. Like him not feeling comfortable with the fists when the fists have carried me to more wins that all the others. I just run with all the damage with ares and just monkey spam my way to victory. The more damage for less health the better., like the boon that reduces it by 66% but allows me to health with each attack. Shits insane especially if you egt lucky with health boosts and come in doing insane damage with 300 health and regen with each punch and all your lives. The game is just so much fun
I'm struggling at the game atm, i never get far past the first boss, Meg or whatever she's called. I think theres only 1 weapon left to buy but i still don't get far whenever i'm in the second area

Tip: turn the volume completely down and you'll find you will stay much more calm and thus will fight better.
