Hi. I saw a video from someone about the front sway bars. If you look, there is a 2nd hole. You can move the connection point from the front hole to the back. It's supposed to make it perform better. I will be changing mine this weekend. Before spending money on a new set of sway bars.
Nice video, I am getting ready to install mine so this is helpful. I don't know if it matters mush really, but the bottom brackets below the leaf springs are upside down in your video according to the instructions. The flat part is supposed to lay flat against the spring.
@@Nomadiccamping That's awesome! I wanted to ask if it were possible to use your install footage across our Social Media platforms? We'd tag you and or give you credit whenever we use video. - Josh
I am going to do an update video on the springs. I am convinced they saved our life a d kept us from rolling over on I 40 . I am convinced, had the original bump stops been on we would have rolled
When they are installed and the motorhome is without leveling Jack Are the sumo springs already compressed or they have no tension on them ? I got mine last Friday and looks the right fit but when I lower ( jacks) the motorhome I see already sumo Springs compressed like 1/4 from their normal size . Is it normal ?
They are only used when needed as they replace the original bump stops. When the vehicle rolls, they compress to stop the roll. To answer your question, there should be no tension on them
So since it have been almost a year since this video how do you like it and have you done the rear? I have a 2022 Precept 36C and is looking to do this, I've order the Safe-T-Plus which will be here in a few days and I'm looking to install the Super Steer Rear Trac Bar and maybe at the same time not in one day I might just buy the front SumoSprings.
I was glad I put them on and still am. It lessened the roll tremendously, especially in the Arizona terrains of the BLM lands. Sounds like you are going to have a nice setup and I hope you enjoy your rig as much as we do. Happy Camping 🏕. We have not done the rear
Unfortunately, this video was not a complete install of the Sumo Springs. Only one side was shown. It was represented that we would get an after report of the improvements, which we also did not receive. Not really a helpful video in my opinion.
I could tell the difference the first time out

So did you do the rear one, I have been looking to just install the Timbrens Spring for the rear because you don't have to take the rear wheels off?
Never have done the rear. They really helped in Arizona ladt winter on the BLM land and rugged terrain though. Thanks for watching
