I liked this alot. I think being from Pennsylvania I find cactus so interesting. We do have eastern prickly pear here but that's about it.

I was raised in West Texas.. tons of cactus there. I got tired of them but the visitors always found them interesting. Some of them have the prickly pear on them, the little red fruit that you can eat.. I ate many of them but you get a lot of hairy little splinters in your fingers unless you singe them off first

Good idea. A comment below about an inward opening door or window is good. If I were staying inside it, I would add a hidden hatch door to the floor that is only opened from the inside...

We installed an inner door that opens inside and we lock the outer door open. Short of that a window/skylight large enough to climb out of is a necessity.

While watching, I noticed the one could still place a "bar" betweeen the lock hinge and the door effectively negating your fix.

Quick thought.. putting one of you "fix right here's" on the inside of the door? You could lock yourself in as well maybe?

Hard to tell from the vid, but if someone really wanted to jam you in, I think I see one more way that might be tought to prevent. It looks like there's just enough space between the bar that holds the latch and the wall of the trailer to wedge some sort of bar such that it is held behind the handle of the door, also blocking exit. Stay safe out there, hopefully I'm wrong, start thinking of countermeasures if I'm right
