    ✅ About Kidneyblogs by Dr. Awais Zaka, MD.
    I am a nephrologist and kidney doctor who believes that the best tool to reduce the burden of kidney disease globally is not medication, lab tests, or even genetics research. Instead, knowledge of kidney disease can best protect our kidneys.
    This channel is part of the kidney disease awareness project I have worked on for years. It started with long conversations with kidney patients in the office and hospital. During these conversations, I was perplexed to see patients’ lack of knowledge about their kidney disease.
    To fill this gap, I developed a blog for kidney disease patients, “Kidneyblogs.com,” where patients could find the correct information-and access a nephrologist for kidney-related questions. But then, I realized that not all Urdu- and Hindi-speaking patients could read English, and many preferred listening. This revelation led to the formation of the RUclips channel you will explore.
    Thank you for watching my channel.

    Great doctor.. You are truly educating, sharing very valuable health information and saving many lives. I salute heart fully. I'm 53 a cardiac patient with a stent in RCA 2014 and 2 stents in LADA recently a month back. I'm on regular, BP cardiac medicine and on Metformin 500 once in morning since I'm pre- diabetic for last one year. My recent hba1c is 6.3 . Creatine 1.2 found protein trace in urine test and always my urine is foamy and bubble, gfr 80 but my Nephrologist says for last one year that I should not worry since I have no edema and other lab parameters are well within their ranges he said and prescribed me for low salt diabetic diet only. Though I used to walk and go gym to do minimum exercise prior to recent stents, but I'm now only on daily moderate walk but not doing briskwalk after recent stents... Now after watching your vedio I decided to start brisk walk also from today onwards and observe my health after a month. On advice of Pulmonologist, I'm using cpap for my moderate moderate OSA sincevlast 15 days...please tell me whether my kidneys health is ok.. How frequently I should go for cretinine tests... Any sugestions? Regards..

    • @kidneyblogs
      @kidneyblogs  7 месяцев назад

      Ji Ravi sahib, you are doing great. Keep exercise or walk to moderate intensity and go up as you can tolerate. I partially agree with your nephrologist, for you haven't done the quantification test for urine protein, that is Urine protein to creatinine ratio. This will tell us how much proteins you have in the urine and what should be target for treatment. Lastly with prediabetes, a little bit of CKD, and heart disease, you should be on both medication: a an ACEIs/ARBs and an SGLT2 inhibitor. Please ask you doctor that I read literature about these two medicines and they are helpful. If you are already on these two meds, then you and your nephrologist are doing great work!

    Good attempt Dr sahib, It is easy for anyone to talk about physical activity, as it can be seen, heard, and believed. However, in my experience of over 50 years, I have tried various physical activities and found that it is not the activity itself that matters, but rather the will, knowledge, and most importantly, the understanding of oneself - both anatomically and physiologically. It is about having self-respect and valuing one's own existence, which can lead to a positive mindset, perspective, and perception of oneself. These elements are essential in achieving good health.
    To effectively convey information, it is not enough to simply provide it to someone. Rather, it is necessary to train their mind, similar to updating software, so that the knowledge is accepted and followed with complete devotion.
    I work as a healer and update minds software with hands-on therapies. Remember, it's mind over matter that helps, not just effort. Stay blessed and keep posting positive things.👍

      Ji I am sorry that doctors don't recommend a healthy lifestyle for CKD patients, which is, perhaps, the single most important factor that can improve the health of your kidneys. Please do. But make sure that you do all other things too.

      Gutnay kay mareez walk kay ilawa bht kuch kar saktay hain, jaisa kay swiming ya cycling. Yeh baat sahi hai kay Pakistan aik gareeb mulk hai jis ki waja say hamaray pas exercise ki options bht zyada nahi hain. Laikin exercise kay liy aap ko ksis paison ki zarorat nahi hot, aap dunya ki har exercise ghar baithay free may kar saktay hain agar aap willing hon tu.

    ڈاکٹر اوپس آج آپ کی وڈیو اچانک میرے سامنے آگئی اتنے خوبصورت طریقے سے آپ نے گردے کے مریضوں کو واک کرنے کے فوائد بتائے اور اتنے مخلصانہ طریقے سے سمجھایا کہ دل سے آپ کے لئے دعائیں نکل رہی ہیں میں خود بھی کڈنی پیشنٹ ہوں اور اتفاقاً کچھ دنوں سے تقریباً 40 سے 45 منٹ واک کرتی ہوں آپ کی وڈیو دیکھ کر بہت ہمت بڑھی اللہ جزائے خیر دے

      @kidneyblogs  8 месяцев назад +2

      I am glad that you are feeling good. But Cr 1.8 with proteinuria should be seen and managed by a nephrolgist because you have CKD 3. Your lifestyle will help your kidney health but you should be on appropriate kidney medicine too.

    Sir,I am of 73 but since few years I am loosing my health repadly,this is because lake of exercise. I am so encouraged by your lecture that I am going to start may exercise regularly as I did during my services in army. Allah bless you for such good lecture

    • @kidneyblogs
      @kidneyblogs  2 месяца назад

      I am glad that my lecture was helpful. But I would emphasize again that follow an exercise regimen that you can maintain until death. Army like work out is great, but if you think you wont be able to maintain it, do regular walk instead, an exercise that you would be able to maintain until the end of time. Remember that with a healthy lifestyle, you can beat many illnesses.
