I am a nephrologist and kidney doctor who believes that the best tool to reduce the burden of kidney disease globally is not medication, lab tests, or even genetics research. Instead, knowledge of kidney disease can best protect our kidneys.

But then, I realized that not all Urdu- and Hindi-speaking patients could read English, and many preferred listening. This revelation led to the formation of the RUclips channel you will explore.

good lecture, i had proteinuria since long and longstanding hypertension, I was on ace then switch to arb, i was managing govt teaching hospital casualty for 14 years which was very stressful job, after retirment I started walking and reverse my prediabetic condition condition, from many years i have increased creatinine and urea, creatinine is less than 2, and by the grace of Allah now I have no proteinuria, and for increased k i use off and on potassium binding calcioresin and lasix and off and on lophos as I also did pci pass stent, thank

Aoa doctor Awais i follow your RUclips on daily basis .My husband has iga neuropathy...His recent report createnine s 125 umol/L, Urine , excretion Creatine is 11.4 mmol/day
Protein is 0.79 g/ day .Albumin excretion is 423.7ug/min .wr have bern advised he is stage 2 with medication of Farxiga and Reaptan 10 plus 5 mg .He doesn't have diabetes or obesity. he tries incorporate 15 min walk daily and sleep for 6-7 hrs. My question is units in which you explain are different pls advise if his levels are alright or we do need to include other medications? He only has chicken or fish that also limited and 2-3 times only in a week ..otger than veggies and fruits only .Sorry for the long post ..but really looking for your guidance
I am not sure what is the age of your husband. His cr is 1.4 and eGFR about 65, which is technically stage 2. But the elephant in the room is proteinuria, which should be less than 200mg or ACR less than 30 mg. Sometimes it is not possible to decrease proteinuria to normal. But you husband can be on more medicines for proteinuira. Please watch this video for more help. And if you need more information or our opinion, you can consult us online.

السلام علیکم سر میرا پروٹین یوریا beta blocker اورZestril 10mg کم اور نیگٹو بھی ہو گیا تھا ڈاکٹر نے میری دوائی چینج کر دی اس نے کہا کہ ینگ ادمیوں میں Betablocker کر نہیں دی جاتی Zestril and Norvasc دی لیکن اس دوائی سے کنٹرول ہوتا ہے لیکن نیگٹو نہیں ہوتا کیا میں پہلے والی دوائی چالو رکھ سکتا ہوں سر ضرور بتانا کیا میرا نیفرولوجسٹ ٹھیک نہیں ہے plzz ans me Sir G

جی ایک سال ہو گیا ہے میرا پروٹین کم نہیں ہو رہا کسی ڈاکٹر سے جس کی وجہ سے میرا وزن بھی 8 کلو کم ہو گیا ہے. اور میرا باہیں طرف کا بازو اور ٹانگ سو جاتی ہے تقریبا 5منٹ تک اور پھر ٹھیک ہو جاتی ہے اور نظر بھی کمزور ہو گئی ہے. عمر میری 45سال ہے
بلڈپیشر تھا اور ڈاکٹر نے دوا کھلا کھلا کر گردوں کی بیماری لگا دی ہے
